Peet’s absolutely knows how to make a great cup of coffee. I hate to admit it, but I was in Berkeley, and went to the first Peet’s on Walnut Sq. 50 years ago. so glad they came to Santa Rosa… Thanks to all the Barista’s who really know how to do coffee… AN

Place is clean and drinks are yummy. The coffee shop is very spacious. Parking is a real pain in the butt though.

the staff are what makes a place great. The staff here are terrific. The coffee is so much better than big chain coffee. Highly recommended.

Our neighborhood«go to place» for real coffee. Friendly and professional staff and plenty of parking. We enjoy the selection of coffees, teas, and pastry.

It’s a busy bust place. They are structured pretty well to move people through, which is nice. The products good as usual. Parking is tough because of location. Overall this is a good place.

Always friendly helpful smiling baristas. Consistent taste to beverages and food. Quick too! Love. Only two things that I can think of that would make the experience better…1) more parking or 2) a drive through

It’s holiday time, that Pumpkin Latte is one of my favorites. «You mind if I have a sip of your tasty beverage to wash this down?»…Vincent & Jules might not drink Pumpkin Lattes on their way to hits… might. Peet’s on Mendocino; nice warm atmosphere, an african décor, dark woods, with a wool sweater kinda feel. What sticks out here to me is the way I’m treated. A smile and a, «Hey how ya doing» can go along way. This place can get pretty busy with the courthouse and administration buildings across the street. Have stood annoyingly in a line of about 15 people, the likes of which Facebook & Unilocal could not help me forget the fact that I’m in a line. We’re Millennials, that’s what Time Magazine says about my generation, go figure. $ 4.65 will get you a cup of that famous squash latte, I recommend you try it. Like the cinnamon and nutmeg taste along with pumpkin. The Mayan Mocha is pretty delicious; espresso, a creamy steamed milk & dutch cocoa is a great blend. Still, just doesn’t taste the same if you order it with soy milk to escape explosive diarrhea. My digestive tract is now one laboratory experiment away from becoming a super villain. I like Peet’s coffees, has a nice earthy, woody & and chocolate aroma. Always has that cocoa, nutty and hint of spice flavor body with every blend you try. If that is not your thing, that’s cool, Vincent prefers vanilla coke.

I love Peets. Their coffee is really good and strong, I just get iced coffee, nothing fancy. The wait is sometimes a little crazy, but that’s pretty normal for downtown Santa Rosa. I love the outside seating, to just drink coffee and people watch.

I never really was a big Peet’s fan, but I got a gift card from my employer and decided to give it another go. I was in Peet’s recently and received my drink then went over to the sugar/napkin/creamer etc counter to grab a lid for it. As I was there, an employee was changing out that trash cans, and I clumsily spilled my drink all over the counter. The employee saw and said, «Well at least you’re close to the napkins,» and left after finishing the trash cans. No she did not offer me a towel nor did she help me with the mess or offer to get me a new drink. I have no problem cleaning the mess up but an offer of a towel or assistance instead of sassing me would of been the right thing for an employee to do. I can proudly say that if this situation happened at any Starbucks, an employee would have had no problem helping or even cleaning the entire mess up while someone kindly made me a new drink. Way better customer service than Peet’s hands down. Be nice, people. It’s really not that hard.

Everything is okay with this place except the parking — which is a problem in the middle of the day. I have to drive through and go right on to Flying Goat in Healdsburg. A lot of old codgers hang out here and if you are in the mood, you can hear some strange conversations.

I love Peets coffee but will not return to this location again… first the restroom was a filthy mess and when I went to tell Tiffany, she was so rude like I was putting her out. If this was the first time they were rude at this location I would of let it slide but since this happens on a regular basis I thought I should share. If you want to have great customer service from Peets go to the Union Hotel location on Mission… Cindy is wonderful… friendly and very helpful…

Very nice employees! I accidentally ordered the wrong drink and they were quick to fix it. I was surprised how kind they were about it. Nice ambiance, and even though almost every table had people at it, the noise level was low.

Recently switched to Peet’s from Starbucks. I’m very happy with that decision. Their quality of drinks is much much higher. I do recommend going to the one on Mendo. They don’t tend to mess up and their stuff generally tastes better and comes out quicker. I work very close to the one on fourth and go out of my way to go here. Love it! Also the fact that they use Google Wallet is a huge plus for me. But probably only me.

This Peets has the best service. The employees are always friendly. Drinks are prepared promptly and with a smile. I have never come to this location and not been impressed by the service which is saying a lot. Bonus points that there are always Unilocal check-in deals for this location. The layout of this Peet’s is very nice. There are a number of tables on one side, and on the other are big arm chairs. Along the window is a nice bar and outside a huge patio right on Mendocino. The way the sections of the store are divided prevents it from ever getting super loud — great if you are trying to get work done here. The attached parking lot to this Peet’s is quite small. However, I’ve never had trouble finding a spot, so it seems like it is just the perfect size.

LOVE love love Peet’s! This is my 2nd favorite location but the one with the best(IMHO) customer service! I have a Keurig with a reusable pod(solofil) so I can use my own coffee and it can be a trick getting the grind right. One afternoon, the manager on staff, Ms. Kidd, gave me 5 coffee samples of varying grind levels then didn’t charge me. She was completely aware that this small gesture would likely be creating a recurring customer… and she was right! Love this place! 2nd favorite location only because the Peet’s in Windsor is near my work and I love their outdoor seating. :)

I used to be a Peetshead when I lived in the Bay Area — however — over the years Peets formula for big bold flavors has waned a bit. Yes, the coffee is still good but the whole Peets gestalt has taken on a Starbucks kind of cookie cutter persona. While I am not knocking down either one — their coffees are no longer exemplary in today’s market. There is just better coffee out there Folks. If I do do Peets I go to this one — the downtown Peets reminds me of a somewhat grimy Bus Station.

Definitely one of the nicer, newer, more spacious Peet’s. I prefer this location to downtown because they’ve got their own parking lot(free), and more seating. The people watching isn’t as good as downtown, because you’ve got mostly business people at the Mendo location, so the atmosphere is much more subdued. Huge, clean bathrooms are a bonus, too. I frequently plan business meetings and interviews in coffee shops, so plenty of seating and unlimited parking is a must. This Peets location has passed my test!
