I was doing a little shopping at JC Penny’s and thought I should stop in for a smoothie. Isn’t that the only reason why someone would come here though? Anyway, if I walk in and say«hi» to the only employee in an empty restaurant, step up to the register after a moment of looking at the menu, say«hi» again, pause, and wait for a response, and STILL don’t get one after the second time, you bet I’m going to turn around and walk out. When I walked by again about 5 minutes later with my Whole Foods smoothie, the employee stopped what she was doing to stare at me. AWKWARD! I’m not comfortable spending my money places where they can’t even offer a simple greeting. Don’t know how this place is still open…

Can’t comment on the food as I never got that far. Waited while server took care of a couple of girls. Then she waited on someone who came in after me. OK, everyone makes mistakes. when she then proceeded to wait on someone else I spoke up, politely saying«I believe I am next… I have been waiting for a while?» Servers response«You can wait». I CAN wait… I can also spend my money where it is appreciated. By the way, I am a neatly dressed, middle aged professional person and I am not the least bit scary. This could be chalked up to a language problem as english was not the workers primary language but that’s not my problem. Too many good choices to put up with rudeness.

Looked like a good menu but I could not order because no one spoke English we had to walk away very disappointed, we asked for a tuna sandwich and they said chicken, and when we wanted a sandwich, they say something in spanish and look at us like we are nuts, all in all in America hire workers that speak the language, if you speak spanish then good luck, bad service

Easy place in the mall to grab a bite. The smoothies are amazing. The service is always awesome. I would say the food is great for getting a snack or a light lunch. I really like this place.

The best items on the menu are the Smoothies. These are the best d*mn smoothies in all of Santa Rosa. You can’t go wrong with any of them, but my faves are the French, and the Mexican. Not only are they made fresh, but the ingredients are organic. I fill out the punch cards to get a free smoothie so fast, I get a new one every week. If you go between 5pm and 7pm(I believe, someone correct the time if I’m wrong), it’s Smoothie Happy Hour, and all smoothies are discounted. Not bad, eh? Oh, and the Cuernavaca Panini is the best if you’re looking for a light lunch. For breakfast, I recommend the pancakes with fruit topping. I prefer these over nasty IHOP’s, anytime, hands down. The owner/chef knows his stuff!

Next to JC Penny’s this little café looks like it’s got its game on. Reading the menu, interesting panini choices, what looks to be enticing tasty fresh salads, now, if we could only get those we would be one happy camper. My hubby orders the Spanish Panini, Serrano Ham with Manchego cheese — sorry, out of Manchego cheese. Ok… how about the Cubana. Got that; I order the Paris Panini, described as grilled chicken breast, ham and avocado. We ask for unflavored iced teas and are told no problem, she’ll get those made right away and I order a small side salad — again told no problem. My hubby says I gots to try me one of those Mexican hot dogs, a hot dog wrapped in bacon and served on a bun with diced tomatoes and onions. OK… order in– paid up… take a seat in the courtyard and wait. No one else is there. We are alone. After a while the sandwiches arrive, now I got to tell you, a Panini is not a sandwich served on warm focaccia bread, it is a pressed sandwich. These are NOT panini. Not at all. And they had lettuce, tomatoes and onions on them. But very little meat. I don’t think they had more than 1 ounce total meat. And still no iced tea. Oh, she says, I’ll get that started right now. Right now? We’re eating and would like something to drink with this rather bready sandwich. OK… we’ll wait. Oh, and how about that hot dog. «Get right to it», she says. About 5 minutes later she comes out with the teas and the hot dog on a plate. «sorry» she says, «we don’t have any buns». Really? No buns. And you didn’t know that when we ordered because why? Don’t you take inventory in the morning before you open? No buns. Hmmmmm… By now we are done with our sandwiches, and have tasted the bun-less hot dog, so I tell her to forget about my salad(which she obviously had). «Oh» she says, «and I wanted to make your first experience here perfect» Fail! LindySez: Don’t bother with this place. But Taco Max is still good.

Surprising little place to stop and snack. Despite the bright colors and large eating area, I’d considered it a fairly unassuming spot to eat at(with simple offerings such as popcorn and snow-cones), but a closer glance at the actual menu peaked my interest. Fresh smoothies and sandwiches to whet your appetite. The smell of the sandwiches from nearby eaters was inticing, though I just stopped for a beverage. The smoothies were original and certainly tasty hits. Can’t wait to return for some actual food.

This place offers organic coffees and juices, as well as sandwiches and other goodies. I tried the Santa Rosa panini, which has tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and pesto, and my husband tried the egg and cheese croissant sandwich. Both were excellent. I also got an iced soy latte, which was one of the best I have ever had. We’re definitely going back! There are lots of other items that sounded good, and I look forward to trying them.
