Jennifer Crandall, DDS

in all honesty, there are really not enough stars or words that can express how i feel about dr. crandall. she is a truly passionate and compassionate dentist who is beyond thorough. i had a visit with her last night i came in at 5pm and left at 8pm under her personal care for 3 hours the entire visit. mind you the visit was just a checkup/​cleaning. she went through every single tooth and charted exactly how each tooth/​gum was doing. i mean i honestly never thought that such an amazing dentist and also person exists who actually cares about her patients oral hygiene. if you want a healthy smile from someone who really cares and has extraordinary skill at being a dentist than i seriously recommend you go to dr. crandall

Dr. Crandall is a wonderful dentist, a true professional. At our initial appointment, she spent over 90 minutes with me. After a detailed exam, she put a motorcycle rear view mirror (well, maybe it wasn’t that big) in my mouth and showed me everything there was to see, thoroughly educating me in the process. She actually made it fun! She is passionate about preventive care, and was so persuasive in explaining what I need to do differently in caring for my teeth that I actually have changed my ways. When she presented her care plan to me, she clearly explained the work that needed to be done and why, and prioritized what needed to be done. She does everything possible to make patients feel comfortable and minimize the discomfort. Her work is meticulous and she is very skilled in the operatory — no fumble-​fingers or wasted motion. I am so glad she’s relocated to the Santa Rosa area so I can avail myself of her exceptional care!

It is difficult to explain Dr. Jennifer Crandall. I first visited her 30 years ago, and she gave me veneers, good looking well-​made veneers, that are still in excellent shape today. (Most veneers last about 10 years.)
When Dr. Crandall moved to southern California I had to find another dentist, and another, and another, and another. Thank god she is back in Northern California! I live in San Francisco and am more than willing to travel to Santa Rosa for her expert, kind, and knowledgeable care.
Considering that gum disease leads to heart and vascular disease, Crandall’s mission is not only to save your teeth, your oral health, your smile and sweet breath — she is also dedicated to the preventive dentistry that can prevent heart disease. When Crandall examines your mouth she makes sure that you understand the state of your teeth, gums and bone — you are given a small dental mirror and encouraged to see what she sees.
I cannot sing Jennifer Crandall’s praises highly enough. Not only is she friendly and encouraging — but she is a true dental nerd, staying on top of the most recent studies on the physics of dentistry as well as the newest techniques and materials of cosmetic dentistry. She is on the leading edge of her profession. Her insight, skill and high level of training (continuous) make her a standout in the world of dentistry.
Are you afraid of the dentist? She can cure that too. I have a friend who was very fearful, and Jennifer calmed her fears and fixed her teeth — and then they threw a party!
You could very well find yourself singing her praises — do try to become her patient while she still has room in her practice.
And look for me — I’ll be the one travelling to and from San Francisco and Santa Rosa — with a big healthy smile — on my way to the best dentist ever!
