No call back after 4 messages, no emails returend from Dean Hodges (after sending a couple), and amazingly no one ever picks up the phone over there (at any hour of the day that I’ve called).
I purchased a house and the previous owners had just put in a new Ruud furnace and new duct work which was all installed by Hodges. It was stub’d out and ready to go for A/​C so I figured why not call the guy that did the installation of everything else, after all he left a folder and numbers downstairs to call. Fast forward a few weeks and these guys can’t pick up the phone much less call or email someone back. You’d think I wasn’t trying to give them some more money. Amazing.

He was a no-​show to our appointment. No «I’m going to be late» phone call either. I’ve left messages and he hasn’t returned any phone calls in a week.
For all I know this guy is no longer in business ?!?

Searched local Unilocal for an HVAC repair company and found this one. The moment I talked to him on the phone, I knew I’d found a winner and that all the reviews were spot on! Down to earth, friendly, professional, and honest.
You are calling an individual, not a massive company, and that’s quite appealing, too.
He suggested that the problem might be one of two things. He arrived prepared for either problem. Luckily for us, it was just a simple, $ 100 fix.
We’ve referred him to our neighbors and would confidently refer his name to ANYONE.

I have a business in Santa Rosa that had two separate A/​C systems.
This past summer one of the units completely failed. The first estimate was over $ 6000. for a new unit. Dean came out, inspected the unit, did some calculations, and told us for the size of our building, one unit is all we need so he reconfigured the duct work and saved us close to $ 4000.
Wow! How about that? I heartily recommend Hodges Heating and Air Conditioning.
