I have been many barbers and Bonnie is the best. No nonsense cut, she does any kind of hair and didnt shy away from my black hair. Even when I dont get a chance to get in to see her, my hair grows in nicely and you can see that I got a good cut. I watch her care for 2 year old all the way to 80 year olds and is loved by all. I am going to be crazy sad when she retires.

Bonnie was awesome! She cut my hair and trimmed my beard just the way I asked her to and we had a fun and informative conversation while she clipped away!
I didn’t have time to get my hair cut and beard trimmed before we left home so finding Bonnie was such great luck… and a testament to Unilocal!because it was based on reading her previous reviews and following the directions is why and how I found her.

Amazing! Bonnie was both warm and professional with me. She rapidly understood the haircut that I wanted, gave me recommendations on places to go (I just moved in), and — most importantly — cut my hair exactly how I wanted.

A single $ is not appropriate for this establishment. Bonnie is charming and she does a good job cutting hair, but anything over $ 20 for a men’s cut is steep. My haircut cost $ 24.

Our experience here was terrible. My daughter went in wanting an undercut with asymmetrical bangs on top, whatever, not my thing but it’s her hair. The woman barber flat out REFUSED TO DO IT citing that it was «a grown up haircut» and also told my daughter she wouldn’t like it. I wonder if when boys come in with long hair wanting her to take clippers to it she also refuses service? We went somewhere else with open minded stylists who supported my daughter’s choice to buck «the norm» and my daughter is loving her new ‘do and rocking it!

We are from out of town and my boyfriend needed his hair did! We tried one place closer to where we were staying and felt uneasy. So we picked another and are we glad we did! There were prices posted on the wall and you could tell that there was a humorous spirit about the place but what wasn’t a joke was how great his hair and beard trim were! Geez he looked so handsome and you could tell the laid back atmosphere and quick but precise cut made him feel super great about himself.

I was nervous about getting my two year old son’s long curly locks cut short, but she did a great job, was sweet to him, and made him enjoy the whole experience of his first hair cut. Will come again.

Bonnie was good with my two boys the one and only time we’ve been able to get in. Haircuts were fine and price was fair. I’m very disappointed in not ever being able to get them in again and her nonchalant attitude regarding it. We’ve driven 20-​min out the way six times and have not been able to get the boys haircuts. When I politely inquired if there were any appointments available or if there was a less busy time to come in she told me we could schedule a 6:30 AM appointment. Otherwise we were informed we could wait outside in the sun for up to two hours or «go someplace else where you have to pay $ 20 per haircut.» The rudeness was not appreciated nor was the alternative appropriate for my 22 month old and 4 year old. We had one good experience and six bad, very disheartening. My boys went from being excited about getting their haircut to being weary of her abrupt manner. We really wanted them to have a great experience trying to make it an exciting «big boy thing» for them to do and it was just one disappointment after another at this place. Needless to say we won’t be back and have found another place that we just love for the boys!

Bonnie has been cutting my kids hair for 14 (approx) years. She does a great job and she’s charming and everything everyone has written who has given her 5 stars is telling you the truth. David (Sam’s dad)

I am so happy with my haircut. My eight year old is also happy with his. Bonnie was a delight. Friendly, courteous, and lots of fun. My wife and son and I were all laughing. It was a good time for all. We drove down from Healdsburg because, though there are many places for a men’s haircut in Healdsburg, I have not had great luck with the haircuts in That town.. There is a lot of inconsistency with haircuts it seems. Just when you think you have found a place, it turns on you and you go home looking like one of the three stooges.

Bonnie has been cutting our family’s hair for the last 10 years. We have followed her from larkfield to Santa Rosa Ave to her current locale. She can do a fabulous bob on my girl to a great business cut for my husband to anything edgy or classic for my 14 year old twin boys. I have taken my kids to expensive salons, but we always come back to Bonnie. She takes her time with each and every client no matter how long the line is. Good morning! Good news!

Twin 2 year old boys. Previously trimmed by mom’s inexperienced hands. They looked like they never brushed their hair, it was always a mess. cute, but a mess. If I had known how great Bonnie is, I would have shown up months ago. She is the yoda of toddler haircuts.
1) she has a dog for them to play with while you wait for their turn
2) she gets them to sit down, gives them organic gummy bears, and by the time they finish the package she is done with the haircut
3) they LOVED her
Next morning — my god, for the first time they woke up and their hair looked good! They both look adorable! Bonnie is the best!

Just took our 22 month old to see Bonnie. It was his first hair cut. She was great, very friendly and knows how to keep the kiddo happy while she did his hair. She will be our new barber for our son. Thanks Bonnie

We are new in town, and it was such a JOY to find Bonnie! She cut my five year old son’s hair today, and it was amazing. He is not the type of child who exactly LOVES getting his haircut, but Bonnie made it A-​OK. He loved sitting up high in the «tall seat», and Bonnie explained everything that she was doing, while she did it. The bonuses included meeting Bonnie’s Boston Terrier, Popeye, and the yummy M&Ms she gave to us on our way out! We will most definitely be back to see her again and again! Thank you, Bonnie!

First haircut here and WOW. Bonnie is not only excellent at plying her trade, she does a few little extra things that I have never seen any other barber or cosmetologist do or even suggest. Things like a quick trim of the eyebrows and handing you a damp hot towel to get those last few clippings off your neck combined with her great no-​nonsense personality make for a top notch experience. I’ve gotten haircuts that cost twice as much where I was less than half as satisfied as I was when I left her shop.
High-​quality, very reasonably priced, and fast. Best haircut I’ve ever had.

Bonnie is Awesome! I came in for a quick trim of beard and hair. She gave me literally the BEST beard trim of all time, and was very responsive to what I needed. She only took a tiny bit off my hair which is what I wanted. Also — she felt like it wasn’t a complete haircut so she gave me a great deal.

Good basic barber shop. Plenty to read. Had my hair cut by the lady who works there (there is more than just the one barber). Was a bit difficult to get my hair cut short enough; had to ask for it to be cut again, but she got it right.
