My longtime barber has finally opened up his own shop! Jon has been cutting my hair for years and he is a master at his craft. Jon is fast, efficient, and consistently does a great job every time. If you’re looking for a great barber and a great fade, then look no further than Jon at Top Shelf Barbershop. The barbershop itself is conveniently located near the downtown mall and parallel to Santa Rosa Ave behind Julliard Park. The shop itself is clean, and you can watch TV or listen to music while you wait. The barbershop does accept walk-​ins but it would be best if you made an appointment.

Best barbershop in the city… I have been going to Jon for a while now and everytime I go in its fast and clean… great vibe in the shop and they always got football on… I suggest if u need any type of haircut you go see him!

This place sucks! My boyfriend got his haircut today and a lady who works there fucked up his hair! Very uneven! The Fade on both sides were uneven and not even faded. Wtf! He needed a haircut because we’re going to a wedding! Thanks a lot! So pissed! I think she’s inexperienced! Unilocal should have no stars option because this place deserves it!

Cruz the Barber cut my hair, he was on time to his appointment, greeted me in a friendly manner, and did an amazing job on my haircut. Very professional and he cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. Very reliable and precise. I’m going there for every haircut I need from now on. Highly recommended

Been going every two weeks for the past two months with Cruz and he outdoes himself every time, I’m never worried at this place. They’re a fairly new and upcoming barbershop but either John or Cruz will get you right.
