Bill’s Lawnmower Sales & Service

This is the real deal folks. Glad I found Bill so that I don’t have to deal with the schmucks at Gardeners Aid anymore.

I bought a used Honda lawn mower in 2002 that finally broke down in May 2015. Found Bill’s lawnmower service and took it in. Was told to expect about 3 weeks due to their workload. It actually ended up taking a little over 4 weeks before my mower was ready. I would have liked to have had the mower back sooner, but I guess their success has created a huge demand for their services and thus a huge workload. All in all, I am happy — the charge was only $ 80, the mower works great, they filled it with fresh gas, and they cleaned it so it looks like new.

There a few things that are priceless in this life. A good car mechanic (Tillmans), a great computer repair guy (TecWiz), and if you live in the country, a good lawnmower repair guy. Now my life is complete because I found bill.
Our collection of old broken mowers had grown to absurd proportions. Two old red ones, a green freebie from a neighbor, and a seemingly defunct «Brute» we picked up on craigslist last year. And still the grass was growing and growing, and no amount of rope pulling and futile tinkering would help. So I loaded all the sad machines in the truck and headed down to Bills. One look at this guy and you just know he’s worked with small motors his while life. His shop is a wonderland of mowers and chains, redolent with the machine-​shop aroma of fuel and grease.
He quickly dismissed two of the clunkers as beyond hope, but after a quick diagnosis he promised that the Brute could be revived. «Three weeks» he said, «I have a huge backload.» Guess I’m not the only guy in town with a silent mower.
But in less than two weeks the phone rang with the happy news.
Now, with a wallet only seventy bucks lighter I am the proud owner of a one-​pull wonder that is happily chewing up the unruly grass on my happy little acre.

Almost broke down and bought a new mower but decided to give these guy a chance and let them fix the old one I had. Paid under 80 and got it working better than when it was brand new! Fantastic service! Was told two weeks and they knocked it out in alittle over a week. Thank you guys!

I started with a Ryobi weed eater, from Home Depot, because it was gas, had it for less then a month said no way, took it back and someone told me about a Shindaiwa, went online and researched it, found Bills and he has worked with everything I needed, helped to clear about 3 acres! Still going strong…
A good example…100 at least for the Ryobi, just the tool, weed eaters, would have maybe putted for about another ½ month, the Shindaiwa, 375, 450′ I think it was, lasted all year, made the job of weed-​eating much easier. Those prices references do not include the norms, gas, oil, and string but you can use 1.55 string in the Shindawia. The weed eater extras are not much different then the others. even with having to add oil, this one will go for about an hour and a half one one tank, the Ryobi only an hour if that.

Look — I have used some cheap deals on Craig list, tried to fix it myself and everything else in-​between. Bill, and his company is the best by hundred of miles. First off there is no bull– great prices, and fast service– Two chain saws beat to a pulp, brought back to running like a dream was less then 80 bucks. Come on now– This Bill guy is good!
I intern took my weed whacker to him, bingo runs and looks like a new machine–

i took my tortured mower to another place initially. paid close to 40.00 to get an estimate of cost to repair. 2 weeks later i was told between 2 – 300 most likely and that it would be best to get a new mower. I found bill on Unilocal,called, loved that it was owned by the guy who does the work (and his wife) scurried in, was greeted by a young happy gent who hefted the mower from my truck, there were 3 friendly dogs running about and in no time at all i was on my way. 1 week and 80.00 later i am mowing the lawn :) they even sharpened the blades, gratis. well worth the drive to see Bill. Im a fan!

I had bought mower repair parts from Bill in the old location and was happy to see he had not closed but just relocated. My current experience was nothing short of great. He ordered one part I needed and when I picked it up wanted to buy several others. Since he did not have one of them he located it at another Toro shop and sent me on down there as they had it in stock. He gave up a sale but secured a loyal customer. Thanks Bill.

Excellent place to buy or get repairs on mowers, trimmers, etc. Bill is a great guy, they have great service and a wide range of parts and equipment. My weed whacker was repaired in one day. If you are looking for a mower or need service, this is the place to go in Sonoma County!

Absolutely the BEST place in Santa Rosa for getting information on what type of mower a person needs… I had been to three other places and not one sales person was able to explain to me what mower did what job. And Bill (the owner) is on site and ready to provide the best service. I bought my mower there and am recommending this company to anyone and everyone that needs a new mower, a used mover or just a repair of a mower!
