The perfect pig never disappoints… we always order a little bit of everything and it’s always phenomenal… you gotta try the maple coated bacon or whatever they call it… you won’t be sorry… we will eat here every time we come to the beach… and our waiter Ben is a great guy…

Small but lovely restaurant with inside and outside seating. Plenty of parking in the back. Ham everywhere and all delicious. Quiche of the day is always fantastic. Biscuits as well are grits are perfect. Praise the LARD indeed for the Perfect Pig!

I have eaten here for lunch and it was just ok but came with my family, who were in town visiting, for breakfast yesterday. The service was very good. The food came out quickly. My quiche was wonderful. The 3 stars however are for what they call beignets. They advertise beignets all day and we were all excited to have some. My grandson has never tasted one… Well he still hasn’t. These are not beignets! A beignet is suppose to be light dough with air pockets inside and powder sugar on top. These were hard hockey pucks rolled in powdered sugar. A suggestion to the owner… Please go to New Orleans to Café Du monde and see what they are suppose to look and taste like !
I live close by and the prices for breakfast were very reasonable and as I said everything else was good so we will be back.

So happy they opened the Perfect Pig here! We vacation on 30A every year and there are limited options of good places to eat right at Gulf Place but we were able to try breakfast and dinner here and loved it! The Grouper is amazing and I would recommend going during happy hour for half price entrees! We will definitely be going back and service was excellent as well!

Great meal, beautiful location. The server suggested Grouper and I had pretty much already decided from review. Wonderful! I wanted to lick the dish. My husband got the pork medallions and was also very impressed. Loved the grits and he had never liked grits. We stay in Destin but this will always be on our to do when in town list! Great service too.

The great reviews of The Perfect Pig did not steer me wrong! We arrived for brunch and were immediately seated. Weather was nice so we opted to sit outside.
Our waitress promptly brought over ice water (and a covered glass for my daughter without being prompted) and took our orders.
I chose the brown sugar bacon biscuit and cheese grits. The grits were THE best grits I have ever had in a restaurant. Reminiscent of my grandmothers — buttery, super creamy and absolutely perfect. No need to add salt or pepper. Truly magnificent. The biscuit wasn’t bad, but the bacon was extremely tasty. My husband is not a huge bacon person, but raved about it as well. One of my best breakfast experiences ever. I will definitely return during my next visit to the panhandle.

Absolutely fantastic — food and service! This is our favorite breakfast place in Santa Rosa Beach and we highly recommend it to anyone — especially foodies — that are looking to have an exceptional eating experience. If you can’t make it in for breakfast, definitely give the fish tacos a try at lunch for sure!

Breakfast is delicious. You must try the candied bacon. At dinner, the grouper was so good during our first visit that we had to return. On the second visit we took advantage of the early bird discount. Half price for a dish of that caliber is a treat. There was also live music the second night. The girl had a beautiful voice.

Me being me, I compiled a list of restaurants to visit while we were on vacation last week. Perfect Pig was at the top of my list, if not just for the name. A whole ¼ mile from our house, we couldn’t pass it up.
It’s a cute little place that gets a ton of traffic from all of the nearby rentals, get there early! I had the spiral ham and apple butter on a croissant, hubby had the pulled pork biscuit with a side of eggs and brown sugar bacon. Let me just say, all of the food was absolutely delish, but that bacon is OUT OF BOUNDS. If I could eat nothing else except that bacon for the rest of my life, I’d be cool with that. Sweet, sticky, salty bacon. Yum.
4 stars for the price and size of the dishes. If hubbs hadn’t gotten sides, there was no way the biscuit would have been enough for him. And as crazy good as the bacon is, it was $ 4 for two slices. Won’t stop us from returning though!

Great selection, delicious food. Service was top notch! And, in July, they had the a/​c working perfectly. A choice of inside or outside dining. We had breakfast, and enjoyed it immensely.
I had fruit, cheddar grits, and potatoes. Perfect size servings, even though hubby got a good bit of my potatoes
Husband had eggs, bacon and potatoes. His portion was generous, to say the least.
Will return, no doubt

This place is perfectly phenomenal! Started with the nachos with pork which was outstanding. 3 of us had the Parmesan crusted grouper with risotto and grilled vegetables. One of the best fish dishes we’ve ever enjoyed. The smoked BBQ chicken was incredible with deep flavors. We also had the crawfish pasta special which was just amazing.
The service and attention to detail was that of a 5 star restaurant. Won’t ever visit 30-​A again without a meal here!

The Perfect Pig really is perfect! I was up here with some friends for a wedding for a 3 days, and we ended up getting food from here every day because it was so good! Whether you’re getting breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can’t go wrong! It is a small place though, so plan accordingly if you’re with a big party.
Please try the brown sugar bacon if going for breakfast!!! It’s the best bacon I’ve ever had!

Fantastic dinner! Service is spot on! Do not be fooled by the name, they do not just have pork. Although, the pork tenderloin is a must. The Grouper is the best I have ever had. We started with the Rosemary Bread. The balsamic reduction was finger licking good. You must try this great spot.

Great service, great cocktails, great food, what more could you ask for. Had dinner here our first night in town, I had the special which was pork shanks and it was amazing. We were so impressed we came back for breakfast the next morning. The pork tenderloin biscuit was perfect and the fruit was very fresh in the fruit bowl I ordered. The Bloody Marys were just right as well, can’t say enough good stuff about this place.
