I love this open mic! Everyone is so friendly and they have an actual grand piano there! Very supportive environment for beginners and seasoned musicians.
Free parking. No cover. Small fee for the available snacks/​beverages there.

Tonight I saw possibly the most awesomely weird performance ever at this open mic. A German guy by the name of Flula took some suggestions from the audience, and invented – on the spot – two ridiculously amazing techno-​rap songs: one about the Ice Age, another about zombies. All I know is if he’s at the next open mic, I’ll be there too.

Laid back open mic every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month. Located in the basement of Trinity Baptist Church (look for the sign outside). Parking in the lot across 10th st.
Sign ups are at 7:30pm and the show starts at 8pm. Expect an eclectic mix: singer songwriters, poets, performance artists, and instrumentalists.
Coffee and yummy snacks are provided by Little Tastes catering.
