WORST SUBWAY EVER!!! Tired to skimp me on every corner from the meat (smallest portion of pastrami I have ever got) to the veggies and condiments. Workers barely spoke English and had to of been 90 degrees inside. I rarely write negative reviews but this could not be ignored!

Subway is subway can’t complain.
Only thing I want back is the $ 5 footling and februany. I miss that bad.

Went there yesterday order 4 foot long with a coupon. I was overcharged for another foot long and a drink. Manager was right on top off it when told him. The other two female employees insisted they we’re right. The two employees could not do simple math needed to calculate the coupon discount. The manager was even upset at them for refusing to pay me back. Manager is great but he needs to hire employees that will respect him.

Server didn’t even say hello was too busy talking to his friend then he said he couldn’t make a veggie delight sandwich for my son. He didn’t even know the menu. We ended up leaving as this guy wouldn’t be able follow directions to make the sub. Disappointing.

I didn’t wanna give this place a star after my encounter today. I’ve eaten at this subway for years (not consecutively) however, today my 6″ turkey sub on Italian bread came with a side of mold. Of course I complained and I got my money back for the sandwich. The manager offered me another sandwich but I opted out due to already being sick to my stomach. Don’t think I’ll be eating there anymore.

If you go to Santa Monica college and need a quick meal in between breaks and classes this is really the only healthy option around.
The main campus has eateries but they’re over priced and not that great.
Subway has great prices for decently sized portions. I usually get their $ 6 meal deal with the choice of tuna, a drink, and a bag of chips.
Their food is always fresh and great tasting.
The staff is always very quick and attentive in making your sandwiches to how you like it.
This location also has a soda machine with specific flavor choices that come in a form of syrup if you wish to add to your drinks. I don’t drink soda but I have seen people make vanilla or cherry flavored coke using these amenities. The lime flavor isn’t terrible when paired with their brewed teas.
The only downfall of this location is sometimes because it is popular amongst students, you may have to wait an extra 10 – 15 minutes.
The seating is ample for those who want to study however if noise is an issue, skip and go to the library instead. The nice aspect is that it is always clean too despite the frequent flow of students.
They have a restroom you may use if needed as well unlike most Subway locations which don’t allow public use of the restroom.

My boyfriend and I got food poisoning from this location. Not a pleasant experience at all … it sucks because this was our favorite location. Probably not coming back…

This subway has fast service like some mentioned. However the quality isn’t that good. The prices are higher than other location and the sandwich makers keep pestering you if there is anything elese … I will tell you when I want to stop. I guess that’s how they were traine .I got a free cup for water and I said «thank you» and didn’t get a reply just an annoyed look.

I live down the street from this subway. Its across the street from santa monica college so they are busy during the day, but they are always well staffed, efficient, and very clean.

Will never EVER go back to this subway after I ate a Philly cheese steak and got food poisoning and in not the only one who has got it from this same place. I don’t recommend. Honestly think this place should be shut down.

An average subway. The sandwiches are between good and average at that location. Prices there are way more expensive then the Lincoln and Pico location. Ex. that location with a footlong and a six inch with extras on the footlong and 2 sodas are $ 20 and the Pico & Lincoln location is $ 11 to $ 13. And during lunch and after school (SMC) hrs it can be crowded. And they have a small lot too.

For this Subway I would give 2.5 stars.
The service is OK, but there usually are someone in the line so it’s kind of a busy all the time.
But the Subway Foot long sandwiches is a great snack on the way.

Fine and swell. Clean store.

Mediocre food. Only certain members of the staff speak and understand English WELL. Cheap prices. Probably won’t be coming back though.

1 star because service was fast.
However, at the cost of that fast service you get shit quality.
So shitty that it didn’t occur to the sandwich cutter to also cut the sandwich paper, which made it awkward to eat the sandwich. The sandwich was cut in two and I would like to handle one half of it with the wrapping paper on, but that’s impossible with the paper not cut.
What’s shittier, literally, is that my bowel movements were painfully erratic after eating the $ 5 cold cut sandwich which probably had badly refrigerated /​stored meat and toppings. I know it was the sandwich because it was my first meal that day!
I guess when you’re in a good location with lots of traffic, quality somewhat suffers.

Awful. Bad service. The meatball sub is one of the easiest sandwiches to make… yet this place, with it’s awful customer service, managed to mess it up.

Don’t know what it is with the employees here but whenever I USED TO stop in here for a sandwich after class, all the guys gave me attitude. As if it were a privilege for me to get my hands on their precious sandwiches. I tried to refill my soda last time and basically got barked at by one of the workers, who was complaining about being there since 5am. Um, sorry, but if your shift is that long, that ain’t my problem. Maybe you should cross the street and get a nice college degree so you don’t have to work at Subway in the first place.

This is the WORST Subway EVER!
I generally think that Subway is pretty boring unless it is done right – in which case it can only be «pretty good», but this one is just awful. Dare I say it: I think it’s dirty.
The vegetable/​toppings are never fresh and almost always wilted, yuck. The cookies must be days old… even their prepackaged drinks are odd. The meat always tastes like cafeteria food. The subways are always craptastically crafted and just plain sloppy… you’d think you picked up this sandwich from the dumbster. AVOID! This is just a bad branch.

I don’t get the other poor reviews. It’s a Subway, you go in, tell em what you want and leave. They always are friendly, the place is clean and they keep me from starving.

Came here over the weekend for lunch with a friend, since it’s located across the SMC campus.
I’m not a fan of Subway after eating Subway for 2 weeks in Las Vegas last year. (That made me pretty much over Subway)
This location is horrible! My $ 5 foot long chicken breast on whole wheat was nasty. Just didn’t taste right, I couldn’t finish it.
This place attracts alot of SMC college students, due to the prices and location.
It’s on the dirty side and the workers aren’t that professional either, all young kids. Hopefully they wash their hands.
Don’t do it! I rather go food shopping and make my own sandwich!
Sorry subway, this will be my first and last visit here!
1 star for great location across SMC campus.
