Real Combat Science of Martial Arts

I take Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and the Boxing/​Striking classes with instructor Triet Vo. The classes are amazing! They are not huge classes which i like a lot because it is very personal and comfortable. Triet breaks down techniques to make it easy to understand and if you dont get it, he will go out his way to help you. I feel like I have known everyone in the class forever because everyone is very personable and wants to help each other grow as a whole. Triet is the perfect instructor, he is not the type who tries to show and prove how good he is, instead he is always concerned about his students. Everyone in the class is extremely humble and there are no egos or power trips… the classes are very fun and always have a positive energy and they are also very affordable. The fundamental classes are perfect for beginners and anyone who wants to go over basics.

Sifu Ray is an amazing teacher! He immediately makes you feel comfortable even when training with his most advanced students. His knowledge of the arts far outweighs any other teacher I’ve had. Everything he teaches seems so practical.
I know I’m a more confident person walking down the streets after training with Sifu Ray.

Sifu Ray is the most talented Kickboxing/​Kali instructor i have ever trained with. I train at other great gyms but no one is as knowledgeable as Sifu Ray. He can break down the littlest details in every move and in a way anyone can understand. His students vary in age and skill level so everyone feels comfortable here.
With out him and his gym, i honestly don’t know how i would have adjusted to Los Angeles, never mind where I would be in the fight world. Plus, it’s fun hitting Kenny from time to time.

Sifu Ray knows his stuff and can still execute said stuff faster than any youngin. His muay thai instruction is excellent and his real-​world fighting knowledge seems limitless and accessible. Its a great way to stay in shape and the other people in the school make for a great learning environment. RCSOMA is awesome.
