My son is going to this wonderful Karate school last 7 years. Lot of care for kids beside teaching karate skills that are extraordinary. All teachers are very professional and with their supervision and training kids are getting great sport and life habits!

My 8 year old son has been coming here for close to 3 years now. The senseis here are inviting and make karate fun, all while maintaining order and dicsipline. There are male and female senseis and male and female students. Highly recommend!

My son has been coming to this dojo for almost 5 years now. He started when he was 6 years old and has blossomed into a confident 11 year old. I attribute this to the fine care and leadership of the senseis. Sensei Jeff and Sensei Shelley are wonderful! (As is everyone else we’ve had the privilege of studying past and present). It’s not always about drilling form and technique that makes karate/​self defense beneficial. The instructors here know how to connect with each student and let them be kids at the same time. I would highly recommend this dojo!

Our son has been studying with Sensei Shelley since February — she is terrific! He is totally engaged and she has the right combination of warmth and firmness — and she knows how to communicate the material so clearly. I don’t write many reviews but I think this dojo is very special. They are so professional and the children learn much more than Kung-​Fu. They are in a respectful environment and begin to emulate it. I highly recommend this dojo.

Our daughter has been attending lessons at this dojo for over two years. She is now 9, and the confidence karate has given her is amazing. But I don’t think it’s really about the karate — I think it’s about the attention and support she receives from all of her Senseis (teachers) at USSD (currently Sensei Shelly and Sensei Jeff). She respects them, but she also loves that they let her be who she really is — both silly and serious.

My son wasn’t into sports at school but he was interested in martial arts. I am so glad we found this school! He was there for all of middle and High school. He ended up being an assistant and helping other young people find their way. Sensei Ryan taught my son discipline, respect and self motivation, I am forever grateful for these life lessons learned in such a positive nurturing way. Thank you United Studios and all the great teachers!

My 13 year old daughter has started taking lessons last year. Since she started late, she was a bit conscious that she wouldn’t fit or be behind. But her concern was quickly lost and she just loves going. The deal includes both private and group classes. She is taught by Sensei Shelly who is a fantastic teacher: attentive and caring. I would highly recommend this dojo if you or your kids want to learn martial arts.

Honestly this Dojo is FANTASTIC. It is the ‘real deal’…each dedicated Sensei is wonderful. The owner really, truly cares about the art of Martial Arts and about the kids and the adults. My son has been coming here for years. He tried another dojo before coming here and hated it. They also have movie nights for the kids and really get to know your kids. I highly recommend it. It is like my son’s home away from home.

My daughter and I both come to this dojo and we love it. Sensei James is great with kids and adults alike. I would absolutely recommend coming here for martial arts training.
