Probably one of the best mattress buying experiences I have had. Mike was very knowledgeable, helpful and gave me a great deal. Should have posted this review months ago! Sorry Mike, but thank you, your recommendation was great! The deliver guys Mario and Ruben were also polite, on time and set up my mattress quickly and neatly.

Mike was great. He was super helpful and fair, and I got my mattress at the best price out there! Great experience, and will definitely return in the future.

Looking for a new mattress can be frustrating enough, finding the right one is slim to none. Thank you Mike for making this SO easy! Not only did he listen to the problems we were having with the mattress we have now, he immediately knew the underlying issue and provided us with a few options.
Sometimes paying top dollar is not the answer. We paid so much money for our previous mattress and it caused us nothing but back problems, and didn’t even last 10 years. With so many options and factors these days you have to find one suitable for you and the benefits it will have towards your body in the long run. I don’t know about anyone else but a good night sleep is everything.
I am so glad I found this place through Unilocal!This business hasn’t been around for 15 years because they’re doing something wrong. The staff here is amazingly friendly and knowledgable; not just on their products to sell, but knowledge on what’s suitable for each individual.

Mike was extremely helpful with helping me find the perfect mattress. I purchased a plush pillowtop mattress and within a week or so my back started hurting because of the lack of support. I called Mike to see if I could exchange my mattress for a firmer bed and he helped me find the perfect fit. The new bed was delivered the next day.

After just moving from Manhattan to Santa Monica, I came in to R Mattress Stores.
Since I had just moved, I had no mattress or furniture yet and needed something to sleep on ASAP, that fit within my budget.
Mike was awesome! He was friendly and accommodating… He worked with me on price point, and even delivered the mattress the next day, free of charge!

Been to sit n sleep and LA mattress store and end up here got a mattress in 5 min .mike the owner showed me a Tempur-​pedic mattress and than Sterns&foster and some organic mattress but I end up with the Sterns&foster and he give me a low price. I highly recommend this place.

In the treacheroues land of mattresses’ stores, RMatresses is a pleasant surprise; no pressure, no condescending sales people, no overload of info. Mike, the owner, as others here have noted, is really great. He is cordial and gives you space, but more then that, he is listening to what you ask, and honestly responds to your questions and concerns.
I was looking for a good mattress within a price range. Checking several in the store, I felt pretty comfortable (unlike many other stores) and liked one that was out of my price range. Thankfuly, mike was able to work on it, and I bought it on the spot.
Next day, delivery was prompt and the guys were professional. What impressed me the most was that MIke called me the next day to find out how is the mattress, WOW!
I told him that it was pretty good, but it had that odor that I thought an organic (mostly) mattress wouldn’t have. He said it will be gone in a 2 – 3 days. I aired it, bare of sheets, and bingo; that odor was gone the next day… unlike the chemicly laden mattresses.
So, all in all, I highly recommend to do your own research and to check out this store, my expirence proved very positive!

Mike saved the day! I needed a new box spring delivered next day before company came to town, but the delivery loading dock at my complex closes at 5pm. The other stores I had checked with couldn’t confirm delivery before 9pm. In a bind I stopped in and Mike was very personable and helpful, found me an excellent price, and was able to confirm delivery before 5pm the next day. Thank goodness for great local businesses!

I been looking for a bed for long time and my back been killing me .I walked in to R mattress and the owner mike was there and asked what I was looking for. I told him I have a major back problem so he sold me a Tempur –pedic and del same day .I been feeling better and no more back problems .I highly recommend this place and don’t go anywhere else .make sure only ask for mike.

My most recent blow to the gut (#EducatedGirlProblems) is that our mattresses are also killing us. Lovely.
Now, I don’t mind paying two or three times the norm for healthy cleaning supplies and moisturizer (I mean, I’m not thrilled about it, but whatev), but dropping a couple Gs on new beds for the kid and myself was not something I was particularly excited about.
It was especially crushing to watch my plane ticket to Abu Dhabi, for the F1 race in November, vanish Bewitched style as I signed the contract for my first-​and-​only born’s new cancer-​free comfort.
The good news? Mike down at RMattress, along with his biz partner, Peter, were super wonderful and informative throughout the whole process. The location in SM is awesome (obvs, it’s Santa Monica), there’s free parking in the back and this duo totally knows the ins and outs of good mattresses vs. bad mattresses. It was a very first-​class experience.
Plus, I prefer giving my money to the smaller mom-​and-​pop shops.

Came in here to look for a friend, who needed a mattress, and there was a great collection! I was met by a very professional Michael, who answered all my questions and gave me all the info I needed to take back to my friend, who had to work.
I would highly recommend this place as a go to place for the best sleep and deals you can get!
