Last week Donelle gave me a fabulous Brazilian blowdry! My hair looks really smooth and shiny. Her price is competitive and she completed the whole thing in almost half the time of my previous Brazilian, done in another shop. Once again, thank you Donelle for my beautiful hair!

Donelle gets my color right every timeI I have been looking for someone who actually focuses on each and every strand of my hair. She does it perfectly!
So many times in the past, I have gone to colorists who hurry and slop the color on my roots, while having a serious conversation with another hairdresser. Those results always had misses came out to be missed coverage in a couple areas.
Donelle takes adequate time to complete a perfect job. I have long, fine and extremely fragile hair and Donelle handles my hair so carefully.
Donelle is a true GEM and I am thrilled to have found her.

I highly recommend her. She know her stuff I came in not knowing anything about wht would compliment my skin tone and she recommended wht to do. She’s been doing this for 24 years!!! Really down to earth and very comfortable to be around. This was my first time with her and I will definitely continue going to her. Usually I get all types of anxiety of someone touching my hair but not with her !

I’ve been to Donelle twice now and I really appreciate how skilled she is. One thing I like is that she snips at my hair; she doesn’t shear it. There’s no surprises that way.

I moved back to southern California recently and read lots of stylist reviews before choosing Donelle. She does highlights and haircuts for me, and her talent and love for her craft are clearly evident with each visit. I am always delighted with the splendid results, and receive compliments about my hair from friends and strangers alike. I must also mention that she has a great friendly personality and charges very reasonable prices. I recommend her enthusiastically to anyone seeking a good stylist.

I like long hair BUT was getting bored of my «bla» pony-​tale look or my border-​line «rolled-​out-​of-​bed» look. Until… Donelle gave it a healthier look by gently cutting it, fixing it and styling it for me. She coached me on how to take care of my hair and now I love it! People often ask me about my hair being shinny.
I just sat on the chair and magic happened.

Today I got another amazing Brazilian Blowout from Donelle! Donelle has become like a friend to me… we always have fun while she’s doing my hair. She has a very easy going personality. My hair always turns out smooth, glossy, and more manageable for a lot less $ than other salons. P. S. Donelle uses the original Brazilian Blowout. There are many imitations out there. Don’t get gipped going somewhere else where you only get a keratin treatment. The original BB will last you
much longer :)

I love Donnelle.
Of course, I’m totally biased. She’s been doing my hair (cut + color) for YEARS and has always done a great job. She gives great suggestions and always carefully matches my hair (red) to go with my skin tone (very pale). I am very happy with her, and will continue to use her as my hair artist.
But more importantly, she gave my son his very first (and second!) haircut. During his second cut, he got very squirmy even though she had gotten out her iPad and had put on the Muppets for him – her idea. She continued to be patient and very loving with him, even though he kept waving her away. She is GREAT with kids!
I highly, highly recommend her.

Thanks Unilocalers for helping me find this spot, and thanks Donelle for giving me exactly the haircut I wanted. I wasn’t even sure if I explained her what I had in my head, but she did a great job. Plus it was pretty quick, you can see she’s very professional. I have long and heavy hair and I like it straight and simple since I’m very lazy and I literally don’t even blow dry my hair. I thought I kinda wanted some layering in front and side bangs and she did exactly the needed thing without me specifying the details. I left very happy and I’m definitely coming back.

OMG I love Donelle. We have been doing lil bits of Purple for a few years now and I finally had to do the whole head. It is Fabulous!!! I will never go back and Donelle is the BOMB! I LOVE LOVE my PURPLE HAIR. Thank You, she cuts my hair too and is just terrific… Highly Recommended…

I stumbled across Donelle’s services while getting a pedicure at my local nail salon. Chatting with the pedicurist, I mentioned my split ends needed a trim.
Before I knew it, I was sitting in the tiny back room getting a haircut by Donelle. She was very sweet and precise. Since I was getting a pretty basic trim, I was out within 20 minutes and was only $ 30 poorer. Blowdry not included.

Donelle has been my hair dresser since I was about 7 or 8 years old. I had very crazy hair as a kid, tight ringlette curls and tons of them! The first time she saved me was when she thinned out my very unmanageable hair and made it much easier to handle. As I got older my hair changed a lot and now isn’t as crazy as it was but is still a handful. Donelle is a true artist when it comes to hair and always has great advice. Just recently I cut off about 6 inches and turned from blonde to red hair. The great thing about what Donelle does is she colors your hair in a way where it blends with your natural colors and gives a unique texture, then as it fades it’s not really noticeable where you have to worry about people noticing. I highly recommend Donelle to anyone, as I said she is an artist and a master at her craft!

I’ve been getting my haircut by Donelle for over 10 years. I think she’s been cutting hair for almost 20, so if you’re looking for someone to cut, style, dye, or blow out your hair, you’d be hard pressed to find someone else who can provide the same level of service at the same price.
Even after I moved 10 miles away from Santa Monica and despite there being several haircutting places to choose from near my home, I still drive the extra distance and spend the extra time because I know Donelle will give me the perfect haircut every time and for a great rate.

I’ve placed my hair in Donelle’s capable hands for over 20 years. She’s the best!

Donelle has been giving my family haircuts for under a year. We are really happy with the way she cuts hair and love what she does with my wife’s hair. She has given my wife a new look everytime we go there.
As for kids hair cut, my son loves getting his haircut by Donelle. My daughter also loves her. We will follow Donelle for a haircut no matter where she goes…
