Quiksilver

Not like your average retail store. This is my favorite quicksilver to shop at. The staff knows me by name and I will stop by just to say hi occasionally. The staff is friendly, very helpful, and goes out of their way to accommodate tourists and locals of the promenade. I went in to my favorite store hoping to cool down from the hot cali sun but instead was met with large industrial fans blowing hot air around with no useful purpose. But the people are cool. This is why I’m giving this experience four stars. People cannot be expected to work in these conditions especially in the summer. I was only in the store for fifteen mins and couldn’t take it. I hope when I go back it is fixed otherwise I may avoid this store until the winter comes around.

Recently, my favorite jacket tore and wonderful girlfriend gave me sweater of the same brand name. I love her for doing that for me. When we were on Third Street Promenade, I believe it was her idea to enter a certain store that had a 40% sale going on. With no chance of hope of locating my favorite jacket, we had to venture into Quiksilver in Santa Monica.
This review won’t be that long, but I was after one thing and ONE THING ALONE! My Shell Shock 3 Jacket, Waterman Collection ($ 69.50). Yup, my jacket has a name. By just typing this review, I am risking that everyone is going to grab one now… Ugh…Oh well… I got a three year supply of the jacket. When we walked in, I had asked where the Shell Shock Jackets were and she told me to walk to the back to find if there were any. As I kept walking back, I saw other jackets that were not my type…
AND BAM! I found it! I was about to tear up a little bit. Shell Shock 3 Jacket was here, but the other question that I was afraid was… Is this on sale? My girlfriend had asked and my eyes opened to the answer, «Yes, its 40% off!» I saved $ 27.80 on a jacket that keep me cool and warm at any weather condition. Plus, the hoodie is zipped in the collar. If it rains, you can just unzip and you are ready for whatever will strike you. Just not lightning. It was the most comfortable feeling knowing that jacket was there and it was back with DADDY!
If Quiksilver Corporate or any person there is reading this… If you get rid of them, please consider me for your donation needs. Or at least consider selling your remaining lot at a major discount. I love these jackets. I would be very sad if they disappeared without my approval **tears** Oh yeah, I forgot I was writing a review. To be honest, I completely forgot who I spoke to or what other questions they asked me. However, the cash register was being a pain. For some reason, my receipt wasn’t printing, but it was how it was loaded.
I Love Quiksilver for keeping the Shell Shock Jackets in stock, but please let me know if you are getting rid of them. If you are making a better Shell Shock 4 jack, please put me in the committee. I love the design and how sleek it makes me look. Its like the jacket was meant for any settings. Time to look cool everyday and with me in it… I look AWESOME!

Came here on Black Friday. They had a sale going on for everything. At first I was going to get a pair of shoes and sandals, but once I heard everything was 40% off, I bought an extra pair of sandals. I love the Roxy sandals. Of all the sandals I have, these are the most comfortable. I have bought these sandals in many different colors. So happy with the sale.

It was awesome, got my penny board here and I love it, the cashier was very nice as well and recognize my voice from when I called earlier

I’ve been a local shopper here for years as the service and selection is great! They aways seem to be having some type of sale as well and recently started carrying wetsuits and surfboards too. Would recommend to drop in for a visit.

Considering this QS is located 3 blocks from the beach on a major shopping street, in a «beach town» I would have expected a bit more. It’s a far cry from QS in Waikiki for example.
The Staff was pretty helpful and they were friendly. I love QS but there isn’t anything special about this shop.

«Hello! You can take your shoes off too, if you want.» was how I was greeted by a friendly barefooted worker at Quiksilver of Santa Monica.
Like other Quiksilver stores, this one had a relaxing environment. Okay, maybe this location was rather TOO relaxing. It was a clean, organized store, and the staff members were attentive and kind.

It was two days before my trip to Hawaii, and I totally lagged on shopping for any beach/​swimwear. Fortunately, I thought to head straight to the Quicksilver store. I bought everything I needed, from swim apparel and board shorts, to slippers and other fun doodads. I did spend more than I had hoped to, but I don’t regret it. All the clothes are well made (no wardrobe malfunctions), and I still get compliments on my gear.
