WORST pizza I’ve had in such a long time! We ordered from this place because we heard it was good. The whole pie was BURNT on the bottom. It was all BLACK and disgusting. Definitely will not be back. We called to complain and she said she would apply 20% off the next order… there won’t be a next time! Go to Joe’s Pizza! The best! NY pizza! Soooo good!

Pizza Fusion has gone downhill. The crust is never thin & crispy anymore, and the toppings are always sloppy and all over the place. Time to move on:(

It doesn’t say it on the menu but they have the best Rigatoni pasta and mac n’ cheese pasta w/meatballs SOOOO delicious! I have a lot of vegan /gluten free friends and we can always meet here for a meal, they have something for everyone! AND at the Santa Monica location they just got Allagash White on tap which is my all time fave beer… happy hour is from 3 –6, see you there! :)

Here we go, come with me There’s a world out there that we should see Take my hand, close your eyes With you right here, I’m a rocketeer… at PIZZAFUSION! — Far East Movement(rocketeer) Gluten free thin crust pizza + organic ingredients = good deal. The prices are cheaper than i thought they would be… considering gluten free stuff is super expensive at markets lol. Keep in mind, these pizza’s aren’t round but rather large rectangles — i would say a large is enough for 2 people. Friendly service, food turns out fast, and cute bar area = cool pizza hangout place. Most importantly, they have good tasting gluten-free crust. Food: 3.5 stars — Service: 4.5 stars — Atmosphere: 4 stars — Price(value): 4 stars

Great thin crust pizza! Fresh ingredients, fresh dough, solid selection, attentive service, alcohol availability a plus, outdoor seating I came here for lunch and split a Sausage and Tri-color pepper pizza on organic white crust and added mushrooms and black olives. SO good! I’ll be back for sure

ME: «It’s Vegan Pizza Day and I’m craving Vegan Pizza!» SERVERGIRL: «There’s the ‘Very Vegan’ pizza but you can pretty much make any pizza vegan. I suggest the Farmer’s Market Pizza with the vegan cheese.» ME: «Farmer’s Market Pizza it is!!!» Thin multi-grain crust, large chunks of artichoke hearts, organic red onion, roasted organic zucchini(which is amazingly tasty and had a bit of sweetness), roasted organic portobello mushrooms, and vegan Daiya cheese. SUPER-SUPERGOOD!!! These fresh veggies were definitely the stars of the show! CHEFGUY: «Can I get you anything else?» ME: «Do you have vegan desserts?» CHEFGUY: «We have a vegan, gluten-free brownie. We also have sorbet.» ME: «Can I get the vegan, gluten-free brownie?» ***flash my flirtatious smile :) Moments later he brings out this chocolate mouthgasm on a plate. I took the first bite and loudly exclaimed«WOW!!!» Perfectly super thin crispy top that just shatters upon impact with a bite. Light and fluffy-soft right underneath the top crust. Towards the middle and all the way down to the bottom it’s still fluffy but borderline gooey and makes you wanna lick the sticky gooeyness off your fork and the plate. Don’t wanna waste all that super good chocolatey yummyness!!! Btw, they sell normal people food here too so my meat-eater friends can eat! Happy National Vegan Pizza Day!!! :)

I like Pizza Fusion because you are still eating pizza but it doesn’t make you feel quite as bad as eating a big grease dripping chain style pizza. I really love the fact that they offer a gluten free crust as well. I got the BBQ Chicken pizza and i really loved it. The chicken was really good quality, no hidden strings of fat or gristle or blood vessels that i could see. The sauce they used was very sweet and tasty also. Probably one of the best pizza joints in town.

This place is still a 5. I highly recommend their vegan pizza with Follow Your Heart soy cheese. It’s(in my opinion) far better than the overly-hyped daiya(which I dislike). To top it off, I don’t have that uncomfortably full/disgusting feeling and love that it’s a healthier version of pizza that doesn’t sacrifice anything in the taste department! I LOVEPIZZAFUSION!

As a no-dairy foodie, it can be tough to find gourmet food that fits in with my dietary restriction. When you say you don’t take dairy, you likely get(1) confused looks and stupid questions like«is butter ok?», and(2) sub-standard food that is made to have dairy as a standout ingredient but now it’s just alright. That’s why, whenever I find a place like Pizza Fusion, I hold on tight and don’t let go. The pizza is amazing, and it can be made both non-dairy and gluten-free without compromising taste. Sure, it’s pricey, and the service is a bit spotty(trendy-looking college students as waiters maybe?), but the food hits the spot. Try it, and you’ll like it.

Pizza with a conscience, I like it. My wallet at times will disagree of course when our large pizza clocks in over $ 30 but sometimes it’s worth it, you know? Organic, gluten free options, vegan options, supporting green technology… Not your general thoughts on pizza delivery but it’s a damn fine pizza. For the vegan world they use Daiya cheese which if you’ve tried it you know it’s the bomb. Quality ingredients, good sauce, good crust. This may not be the ideal spot for the starving college student or the fat unemployed adults living in their mother’s basements. Like I said, the price is steep. But if you’re an adult now and don’t mind paying a little more for places that give back then give Pizza Fusion a shot. They are partnered with numerous organic groups and proudly post their environmental vision on their site. Even their website is powered by renewable energy. Brings a tear to my eye to be able to eat junk food yet have it be semi-healthy AND leave me feeling like I’m supporting a good cause. It’s like dinner and charitable causes wrapped into one. Only gripe would be the toppings can be skimpy, sometimes notably so. We asked for extra extra extra onions on that one last night and really there were only few pieces on each slice. Not even close considering we said«cover it with onions, COVERIT.» I get the high price of the pie for organic crust, vegan cheese, and other quality ingredients… but an organic onion is like 60 cents. If someone is shelling out $ 30 on a pizza and they want onions, I’d say go ahead and give them onions. Over all though I’m a happy camper when we order from Pizza Fusion, sure we spend a little more than we would on a pile of oily shit from Pizza Hut or Dominos but sometimes it’s just worth the extra loot.

Okay, so while the Founders Pie didn’t do it for me, I still came back again and this time chose to build my own pizza. This time, the pizza I choose was deliiiiicious! So, I’d totally suggest to build your own pizza if you don’t overwhemlingly like any of the prebuilt options on the menu. Personal pizza: organic white crust, tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, portobello mushrooms, artichokes, mmMMM!!! It came together so wonderfully. Crust was thin and baked to perfection, a little bit crispy but still soft. The cheese was spread in small chunks, like how fresh mozzarella cheese is. The mushrooms and artichokes were really fresh. It was soooo great. And of course, I had the tomato basil soup to start. I love it, very fresh, tasty, and paired with the small roll for dipping… mmmMM! All of this fresh and organic noms comes with a price, but it’s not too bad. The pizza I built was 11 and the soup was 5. But it’s refreshing to splurge a little bit on freshiness, I hate that oil bloat that comes with blah pizza afterwards. Oh, and have the iced green tea. It’s fantastic and comes with liberal refills.

Ingredients are fresh, high-quality, often local and organic. You can even get a gluten-free crust. I got the farmer’s market pizza with a whole-wheat crust, and it was the *perfect* combination of veggies… portobello mushrooms, zucchini, onion, artichoke hearts. I thought the tomato sauce was particularly flavorful and unique, and the crust was more crispy than I usually like, but it was high-quality and tasty. I do feel like I need to point out that the veggies were just too big to make sense on a pizza. It looked spectacular and delicious, but it was a little hard to eat when each bite made something fall off because the giant veggies were battling each other for primacy. I really liked the staff, the food, and the straws that were made of 100% plant matter(or something like that – a small detail but nice to see).

I’ve been looking, no, I’ve been SCOURING Los Angeles for the past two years for a pizza place that qualifies for my «regular» spot. Pizza Fusion, you’re it! Delivery was fast, the pizza was hot and fresh, and they threw in an free personal cheese(YAY!) with my large, whole what crust Farmer’s Market pizza. Seriously, an amazing combo of super fresh, organic veggies piled on high-quality cheese(goat cheese option is fabulous) is my ideal pizza. There’s a long menu of creative, healthy pizza combos, and the ability to super-customize your pizza, down to soy cheese, GF crust, and a plethora of veggies. And even though I would 5-star this place on the food alone, Pizza Fusion also used 75% organic ingredients, delivers in hybrid cars, offsets 100% of their carbon emissions, and practices many many more environmentally responsible initiatives. Cheesy deliciousness with a conscience!

Went there for the first time last night after having a few cocktails at Copa D’Oro, had a big lunch earlier, so figured all we needed was a light and«healthy» snack to coat up the drinks we had earlier. My dining companion is latose intolerant, I don’t have any food allergies but I do enjoy soy products and of course a bigger fan of organic, fresh foods. We decided to start off with the flatbread and dip trio, loved the flatbread, still soft with a perfect crunch, you can tell that it was freshly made, however all the dips failed. I like olives but the tapenada, marinara and garlic olive oil just lacked flavor. I was being very hopeful for the pizza. We ordered the Very Vegan Pizza which is with crimini mushrooms(next to portebellos and shiitakes, amongst my favorite of the fungi family), roasted garlic, tomato sauce and soy cheese. The crust though thin was tough like cardboard, had no bite to it, the tomato sauce was very thin and lacked flavor, the crimini mushrooms were the sized of little chopped up olives, very disappointing. It tasted okay, but we spilt a personal sized pizza and cut it up up into 4ths, which I could only get through 1 ½, just was so uninspired. I had to wonder if it was because we arrived late, it was around 10:00pm, so perhaps at that point they just didnt care, but the service was fine, but of course the food is the most important reason to dine and unfortunately this first experience did not scream for another one anytime soon.

I had a $ 20 groupon for this place and just went yesterday. Ordered the bbq chicken pizza and bf ordered the sausage & tricolor pepper pizza: personal sizes about 9 dollars each natural cane cola for 2.50 I thought everything was pretty good. the crust was cooked just right, the topping proportions were good, onions delicous mmm the bbq sauce was a little too sweet to my taste. and the middle got a little soggy cuz i eat slow. maybe I should’ve got lasagna: O They also had meatball mac and cheese which sounded interesting! I love mac and cheese. The waitress was nice and always quick to refill our drinks. I wouldn’t mind going back there but I don’t live close to Santa Monica.

We’ve been here twice so far(thanks Groupon!) and were very happy with both trips. Miss M. is vegan and gluten-free so we were happy to find out they have a gluten-free crust. PLEASENOTE: THEGFCRUSTIS *NOT* VEGAN. There is egg in it… even so, Miss M. SOMETIMES let’s eggs slip. They do however have Daiya vegan cheese. This excited Miss M. so on our most recent visit we got a gf crust Very Vegan pizza wit Daiya(vegan) cheese. The vegan pizza has mushrooms and roasted garlic as toppings and was very good. The normal crust that comes with the Very Vegan pizza IS vegan. We chose the gluten-free crust which is NOT vegan. Confused? 8^) The Daiya cheese melts in a weird way… a bit thinner than real cheese. It all tasted very good. UPDATE: I just received word that as of just recently, the gluten free crust ISNOWVEGAN.

Went here with some friends after capoeira class. I don’t really care if something’s «sustainable» or «organic» or in sweatshop kids died harvesting my tomatoes, I just wanted good food. The staff was really nice, and at the end of the check, she was SOADAMANT about splitting the check when all of us just wanted to see the bill and were going to write down the totals. The beer list isn’t too shabby and the menu is pretty much your average pizza, salad, soup. My friends ordered an extra large with olives and mushrooms and I split a soup and chicken carder salad. The salad was average and the chicken was tasteless. The pizza was a good portion, served like a rectangle as opposed to your usual circle, but when it was time to bite into it, the toppings fell off, the sauce tasted like ketchup and I couldn’t keep it together. I would have rather gone to The Counter.

When we noticed a new restaurant opening up in our work neighborhood, we got excited to try something new. This place seemed to have all kinds of good intentions and positive vibes to change its customers into tree-hugging, organic-ingredient-eating, Prius-driving people. But would their food be up to par? The first time I came here I tried the Sausage & Tricolor Pepper pizza and it was amazing. It was so tasty that I regretted sharing with my coworkers because I wanted more for myself. The second time I came here it failed in so many ways. Their Organic Pepperoni pizza was suppose to ‘knock my socks off’. It did not. I tried a bit of Eli G.‘s Philly Phusion and it was dry and tasteless mess. The philly cheesesteak gnome in my stomach died of desolation and despair. Today I came to celebrate my boss’s victory in a GQ magazine contest. I told all my friends that my boss would give me a cookie for helping him to his victory. Lo and behold, they have cookies here! Homemade chocolate chip cookies like mama used to make? They were hard and did not taste like happy. What a disappointment. One out of four things were good here. I think I rate fairly.

Just what LA needs, more crappy pizza and terrible«Philly» cheese steaks. Who cares if it’s «organic» or grown locally. I just want my food to taste good. If that means killing starving children in Alabama to get me genetically modified tomatoes that actually taste good, then do it! The pepperoni pizza here is passable, it wasn’t terrible or anything, it just had zero qualities that would make it stand out in a crowd. I would have rather paid for quantity, e.g. Little Caesars for three times as much for half the cost. What really irked me was the cheese steak. Ignoring the fact that they failed miserably at making a «Philly» cheese steak, they also failed at making a good sandwich. The barely there«pan roasted steak» was dry and bland, zero flavor. Eating the bread was a jaw tiring exercise that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. This place has a «hip» look to it, but fails to deliver food that matters.
