I come here often, I crave their tostadas at least twice a day. Great food and the ladies who work here are super nice

Came here on a Sunday to grab a bite to eat. I was really hungry and was waiting for a friend to meet me. I ordered their lengua burrito on a wheat tortilla, with a horchata as my drink. The total for both was $ 15 and I do think it was overpriced. I’m a big fan of lengua(beef tongue) and while it was decent, it wasn’t the best out option there. My burrito kept falling apart as I was eating it. I do like that they cut it in half though. Nice touch. The horchata was small and tasted watered down. Their chips that came as a side could use more flavor. If you’re really hungry and want Mexican food then this place is okay but it’s overpriced for the quality. I prefer Taco Miendo on Pico and Gateway Blvd. THOSE guys definitely know how to make a mean lengua burrito. Sorry pinches tacos :(

The worst food I ever tried. I ordered a tortilla soup and I asked them if the soup was spicy cause my mom CANNOT eat anything spicy and guess what… The taste was son disgusting and nasty and SPICY… then I returned to the place to talk to any manager or whatever who was on charge and there was no one in charge, only one chick who told me to throw the soup if I did not like it WTF… At least I would have offered my money back but nothing I waste $ 27 for nothing I do not recommend this place at all

Real chill with a calming presence aside from the usual cafeteria hustle and bustle. I was helped by JoJo and Lyvan who were down-to-earth and friendly!

Soggiest tacos ive ever had in my life & they didnt even ask if i wanted toppings. I hate cilantro & onion and got so much of it. Too pricey for the quality

I don’t get the hype with this spot. Could it be the chips? Because that was the only thing satisfying about my lunch here. I got the adobada and their meat was severely overcooked even though the flavor was there. Although they were generous with their shrimp for the burrito, it was cold and lacking in flavor. The pescado must have been cooked the same way since as the shrimp since it was overly yellow and on the cold side. It should be called pinche tacos, since that was my feeling after finishing.

I waited 11 minutes… yes, 11 minutes .to place my order and I was behind only one couple who couldn’t make up their mind what to order. I tried to make eye contact with order taker but she couldn’t be bothered. I really wanted to have Mexican food so I didn’t join my friends at the other places but when I saw them all take their trays and head outside, while I still hadn’t ordered, I was so annoyed. When I finally got up to cash register, the girl in the couple who had been in front of me, ran up and added to her order so I had to step aside and wait some more, then the cashier went in the back and came out applying lip glass, and fidgeting. after my order, she took two more orders and then began bringing out orders for previous people… then applied more Chapstick or gloss and was just talking with people when I head the back bell go off and saw my order on the back shelf… so I told her my order was up… and she barked at me to be patient«cuz it was just me and her working tonight.» My soup was fantastic, my carnitas taco was great but the service was so slipshod that I won’t be coming back.

I stopped by here today with the boyfriend for a quick snack after our long walk on 3rd Street. Originally we were going to get the tacos but then the carne asada fries caught my eye, so we ended up getting that instead. To my surprise, this place serves one of the best carne asada fries that I have ever had! The fries were extra crispy even with all the guac and sour cream that was piled on top. The carne asada were thicker slices of beef rather than the small diced bits that are usually found. And the guac was made fresh! You can just tell by the taste. I was kind of blown away at how well all the flavors came together. Although the dish was on the pricer side($ 10.99), it was so worth it, and the plate was a big enough portion for two to share. I will definitely be coming back!

Delicious burrito until we got a stomachache and the runs an hour later… One star for the massive stomach pains.

The food here isn’t bad but not very good. It took me a while to find this place because my GPS did not let me know it was inside a plaza… On the third floor. This place is seriously overpriced. $ 10.50 for a quesadilla. It was a pretty big quesadilla. But no. Definitely not worth $ 10.50. Guacamole is okay. Salsa is okay. Nothing really spectacular about this place. Probably wouldn’t come here again but the elotes were pretty good.

Love this place too! I strongly suggest trying the mole tacos here. Mole can easily be done wrong but here it is so right! Love it every time. The rice and beans are also good here.

Great food, very convenient places to eat. Not going to lie, their food is great but I wouldn’t call it authentic Mexican food. But I’d still but it, the burritos are where its at.

Came back for those awesome gringo tacos. New person taking orders. Service 5*, food 5*. Price is online considering its in Santa Monica and rent here is exorbitant. So glad they got rid of their old staff that was too busy flirting and not working. Props to you guys. Much better.

Just finished eating these nasty ass tacos. What a waste of 13 bucks! I distinctly remember this place being gross from a past visit many many years ago. I decided to give it another shot due to my coworkers raving about it, and nope nothing’s changed. The asada and adobada are soooo dry, not even salsa could make it better. Shrimp was okay but tasted old. My beans are rice were cold to the touch! The dollar tacos around the corner from my house top this place any days.

Decent but pricey tortas in the Food Court at the Promenade at 3rd. It came to about $ 10 for a steak torta with guacamole, which was solid and pretty large. The portions are generous and it’s a decent option if you are looking for something fast and very filling. The outdoor seating is also great for people watching.

Fast, cheap and good quality. 6 pinches flautas 6 $. And there is a balcony that during the week is really calm.

Went on my lunch break, and I noticed this place in the food court. It honestly looks like a typical cheap taco joint, but I was hungry for a burrito so I took a chance. I got the chicken(Pollo) burrito and I must say that it was pretty good. There was a right amount of ingredients in the burrito and the exterior was fried so it felt like I was eating a chimi. The pico de gallo on the side was also tasty and the chips were good too. The only thing I would knock is the price. I paid about $ 9 for the plate of food, and I personally think that’s a lot. However, it’s not the biggest deal breaker in the world. This is Santa Monica we’re talking about after all. I would definitely come back again, and next time I will definitely try the tacos. Judging from the pictures, they look scrumptious. Oh, and the service was good too. The guy working there seemed kind of uptight, but the lady at the register was very nice.

It was ok. I ordered the 3 taco plate with carne asada(9.50 plus .50 more per carne asada or seafood taco) and pinches flautas(6.00), and a mexican corn(2.95) and horchata to drink(2.75). Total was around $ 25.00. Although the carne asada was good, tender and I believe its all grass fed beef but the beans tasted like they were from a can. The rice was okay, and the flautas were soft crisp and came with guacamole and sour cream. The corn was drenched in cheese and a little too much salt for my tasting. Although we came down here from Orange County. I will probably not be coming back, but it was cool to try some Pinches tacos.

Came here for a quick bite while shopping. This place is located on the 3rd floor food court area of the Santa Monica Place. The tacos were great, very flavorful meats on home style tortillas. Some of the best tacos I’ve had in Santa Monica. And the horchata was yummy too. The hot sauce is really hot, so beware of that. Out of all the tacos we tried the mole were the best, but they were all good. Prices were around $ 2.60 per taco(á la carte). Also, the people working there were very friendly. Totally recommend this place.

Pinche everything hahaha. Honestly, the name attracted me compared to the usual food court flair. Pinche this, pinche that… menu is quite entertaining. I was so hungry I ate my asada torta so fast. It was good, but still hungered after. Probably should’ve gone with a burrito. Anyway, vegeterians have a nice option of potato & manchego cheese taquitos!
