I got an amazing haircut from Micheal.!! He’s the best. Love this place!!! They’re did a great job. :)

I had a coupon for get a free haircut with Sheree Pouls at Lather Lofts. I was pleasantly surprised walking into this cute hair salon. It was clean and cute and nicely laid out. Sheree was excellent. I was nervous, as I had been going to the same person for my hair for the last 10 years (who is great, but far away). But Sheree really knew what she was doing. She listened to what I wanted and then we talked about what was best for my hair and she started cutting. I love the results. She spent so much time with my hair, explaining how to style it, making sure it was perfect. Even though it was a free cut she really went above and beyond. The prices seemed average for a haircut in Santa Monica and she is pretty busy so it was hard to get an appointment, but i don’t mind waiting I will definitely go back.

I too love this adorable little neighborhood salon. I personally see Christine but I know Michael and the rest of his team are all superb. And Michael’s little dog Ella is the part! Love this place and love my gal Christine! Thank you.

Great little salon with really sweet, super-​talented stylists. Fun, unpretentious atmosphere. Most days the owner brings his wonderfully behaved dog, who loves to sit quietly with the clients. Can’t say enough good about the place!

Lather Loft truly is the best hair salon I’ve ever been to — it’s so cool and low-​key and the owner, Michael, is a doll. I’ve been following him around from salon to salon for years and am SO happy he opened his own salon. He is a great colorist and an all-​around great guy. If you are looking for an easy-​access, un-​stuffy and easy-​going place, with a really talented hair designer, look no further than Lather Loft and Michael Okin.

Tina is always kind and courteous and a great hairdresser. I’ve followed her to this new location since she’s been doing my hair for almost 2 years. I highly recommend her!
The loft itself is small, do some research and come early to hunt for a parking spot since it will take some time and walking to find a good spot.

The space is beautiful, the parking is easy and they have lovely snacks and teas but REALLY… the reason I go to the Lather loft is because of Claire. I flew in from London to get my hair cut with her amazing techniques and my hair colored with her brilliant eye for color. She is a every girl’s dream as you’ll never have a bad hair day again after a cut and color with Claire. Thanks Claire!
