I’ve been there three times and was never disappointed. The beef is on point, great burgers, fast enough service, also Halal which is always a plus. Nothing to complain about really. Street parking is also available.

Delicious make your own style burger! Tons of options for your burger. Cooked medium how all burgers should be. The fries are crisp on the outside but soft on the inside with the perfect amount of salt. Everything was large in size!

So this place is pretty fantastic for what it is which is just burgers. The Burger I had was delicious, maybe not«the best» ever however I will always being going back whenever I am any where close. I got talking to the gentleman taking the orders, that I think is the owner and he explained to me that their really great beef and chicken which is Organic, sustainably raised and from a know and single farm if I understood him completely. This place sure is trying for a great priced alternative to corporate driven fast food poison. All I had was a burger med rare on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomatoes pickles and mayonnaise. They make all of their other sauces right there. It gets a 5 stars from me 4 of those are for the burger the other star is for the great price. Check this place out when you are down this way, you won’t be disappointed!

What were they thinking? My son wanted a burger. We returned to this joint which we’ve found to be reliable. My son got his burger and enjoyed it. I was intrigued and ordered the chicken on waffle. What arrived was a fried chicken breast on an Eggo waffle! An Eggo waffle and not even toasted! And, unknown to me, the mysterious chicken would include a fried egg, cheese and some horrible ersatz yellow buttery goo. What was I thinking?

One of my favorite burger spots in the SoCal area. I usually order a beef burger done medium cooked in butter. The. I get my burger in a pretzel bun toasted in butter. Then in my burger I get jalapeños, lettuce, onions, provolone cheese, and a sunny side egg so when I eat the burger the yolk drips all over the place. I really recommend everyone to get the pretzel bun over the other buns because the pretzel bun actually taste like a pretzel, has a little salty flavor and the right amount of doughyness especially after you have them toast it in butter. The burgers are a bit pricey but for a halal organic grass fed burger that’s not a bad deal. Also now they do serve halal chicken burgers but their chicken burgers are not as good as their beef burgers but it’s a good option for people who don’t eat beef. For the side I usually get their sweet potato fries with their homemade ranch sauce. That’s amazing because the sweet, salty and crispy fires fries dipped into their ranch sauce is amazing. They also have a good selection of interesting drinks like Leninade and stuff like that. They also have their own lemonade which is pretty good also. The only bad part about this place is to find parking. Even the metered parking are usually full but if you come later at night you’ll find parking and after 6pm they don’t charge you to park on the metered parking.

Vibe: Quiet local spot with two dining areas and outdoor patio. Food: The burgers, sides, and shakes here are tremendous! You fill out a long paper slip with what you’d like to eat aka make your own burger, choose your sides, and beverage. If you don’t like the food here it’s really your own damn fault for not knowing how to construct a delicious burger and meal. I typically get a beef burger on a brioche bun with chipotle mayo, cheddar cheese, veggies, avocado, and bacon with a side of house fries and a shake. So good! Service: Make your own burger, order, and it’s cooked fairly quickly especially if there is no line. Overall: Great burger place that’s worth going to multiple times. There’s always weekly specials as well.

A bit expensive for just a burger(but I added some add ons like jalapeños) The meat was so fresh and juicy. The quality of the food here is excellent and I would definitely come again. It is extremely filling and satisfying. I’m glad that they have Halaal beef and chicken burgers!

I wish I could say I liked this place. I went years ago to the old location, where I recalled good hamburgers but weird homemade ketchup. The current location is many times bigger and more comfortable, but it loses a lot of the old charm. The ketchup is the same, the burgers are still ordered on long slips with good quality organic beef, toppings like egg, bacon, choice of buns, and of course there’s a good homemade lemonade and some weird homemade tater tot balls. The burger falls in the middle, as quality as it should be the taste just isn’t remarkable at the end of the meal. Even with bacon and egg I wasn’t enthused by it. And in this area, with so many burgers that are good, that really, really makes it hard to recommend.

The Good: Ordered a Creekstone Angus beef patty on a pretzel bun and sweet potato fries. HUGE burger– tasty and juicy. You will leave satisfied. Their cream soda also on point. The Bad: They may have burnt my pretzel bun a tad bit but really, I couldn’t tell through all the yumminess. The Ugly: get ready to get messy. This burger cannot be eaten in any clean fashion. Roll up your sleeves, accept the fate of your napkins, and dig in.

So when I plan on having a $ 15 burger I expect to enjoy it. I drove a mile down the road and it had so much grease I could hold it. I held the burger up but it was horrible, grease all over my hands, truck, clothes! This goes on my list of the worst by far. Not to mention the guy working the counter just took the money from my hand and just liked like he hated his job

3 words: way tasty burgers. This is a nice burger joint. Plain and simple. The staff was nice, helpful and pretty darn quick with our order(came on a Saturday evening I believe). 1. They say the burger will be medium. It was. 2. The pretzel bun is potentially the best part of the burger. So epic. 3. Everything is portioned just right… but everything will still fall off the burger as it should ;). 4. Sautéed Jalepeno peppers… a bit underdone, but ok since I think they were fresh peppers. 5. Get the sweet potato fries. That is all. 6. Did mention they are pretty nice? 7. They have a tv which had a sports game on. So good for lunch. 8. Avocado is just the right amount. 9. Lastly, the place was very clean. For those afraid of dirt, it was sparkly. So. Medium sized list short, I like this place. I will be back. They also say they have halal chicken.(Curious about handing practices but hey why not). The sandwiches they have sound pretty darn tasty!!!

When your friend tells you, he’ll take you to the best burger place ever, what do you do? You haul ass and you go! I honestly didn’t believe him cause I’m kind of a burger snob but this place blew my mind! You grab an order sheet, build your burger, and turn it in/pay at the cash register. Very straightforward, no tricks. When I received my order, first thing I thought was«MANIT’S HUGE». Second thing I thought was«MANIT’S MESSY». This isn’t a bad type of messy. It’s just that the beef patty was so juicy, it kind of got everywhere. All good, I just had to use extra napkins to clean myself up. Pretzel bun was amazing. So glad I chose it over brioche. The pretzel bun was thick, doughy, and held up great even though the burger was so juicy! Not to mention that it was a cool looking bun. Overall, great experience. I probably will be back soon! P. S. Free street parking after 6PM.

One of the best burgers I’ve had in LA. I got the chicken burger on a pretzel bun with cranberry mayo, and it was absolutely delicious! It came in just under $ 10, which I definitely consider cheap for a burger this good. They have a homemade ‘special ketchup’ that’s great as well.

First the food looks like it’s suppose to. Friendly Staff and super clean. Want fresh lemon aid, the one here is the bomb!!! Note: to Vets let the owner know which service you was in with an ID card, for a free drink. Two thumbs up!!! Update: over a week coming here and the food served was just like the first visit. Fresh, delicious, and just down right awesome! It’s no fluke, this place is the real deal.

This place is located near Cornerstone and Universal. Street parking is free after 6 pm. They have seating both inside and outside. They keep the restaurant pretty clean and the bathroom isn’t bad either(lawlz). They are cash only and have a long paper menu to place your order. I got a $ 12 beef burger which consisted of a pretzel bun, lettuce, avocado, egg, and some extra stuff. For the price you pay its not that worth it especially since most of their sauces suck. If you got fries with it then it maybe it worth it but even the free fries weren’t that good.

Was looking forward. disappointed! Whats good: 1– customer service awesome and friendly. 2– clean. 3– fun ticking on sheet of paper what you like on your burger. Whats Bad: 1. The burger.(The beef is good, but all their bread it not so good, I tried three types, its too doughy that over empowers the beef!) 2.Too juicy, too messy, such an unpractical burger. 3. Also, the burger shop is in a residential building, and every 10 minutes the fire alarm goes off from someone cooking in the complex. I’m not going again, sorry to burst your bubble people: x

Love the Pretzel bun! Tastes super fresh and helps soak up the juice oozy from the burger! So no juice is wasted on the paper! Customer service is quick and friendly. Plenty of seating no matter what size your party. Note: cash only establishment but they do have an ATM on site if you forget. Secondly only street parking.

I finally gave this place another try– the first time they messed up our to-go orders and made my burger on my friend’s bun and vice versa. I did not enjoy it at all because I was most excited about trying the pretzel bun!(And I found his plain bun to be dry.) We would have switched back but the buns were already covered in each others’ choice of melted cheese, spreads and other toppings. Also, the burger was so greasy that it was difficult to eat. The entire bun was covered in grease and slippery! This time I dined in, and had a slightly better experience. The order came out correct this time, but it had the same problem with the greasiness. I finally got to try the pretzel bun, but the bottom of it was completely soaked in grease! Other than that, the burger tasted alright. I ordered it with cranberry mayo, swiss cheese, and all the veggies. I felt it was lacking a little something and added a bit of ketchup(the heinz version, as I was not a fan of their house-made ketchup). It costs about $ 10 for the burger, with no «extra cost» add-ons. Another complaint is that this place is cash only. Who in LA carries cash anymore? Even the parking meters take credit card!

This place was good back at its old location by UCLA and it’s still one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, ever, in the history of ever. Forever. Pretzel bun, medium rare beef burger(DONOTGETTURKEYORANYOTHERMEAT), basic toppings(recommend you don’t get any of the extra toppings like egg, etc because it masks the flavor of the meat), and side of sweet potato fries. Try their special ranch and ketchup but the burger is amazing on its own and it’s HUGE. There are paper towels at every table because it’ll be a train wreck of a meal but you’ll understand the difference with the very first bite. Cash only. Don’t use their ATM because it charges $ 2.50 something. Street parking.

I love good burgers. I think Hole in the Walls are a good option, albeit expensive for what it is. It’s very easy to customize burgers because you get a sheet to check off. I had the braided bun which was really good. Always add a fried egg, although it’s messier to eat. Make sure to bring a fork when the burger falls apart. There is indoor seating as well as some outdoor seats. Pretty quick service but lone can get long around lunch.

At Hole In the Wall, I have great faith in the pretzel bun. I also have great faith in their low-key, build-it-your-way concept. And they have 2 hour parking in the back(behind Starbucks)! Do not be deceived by what the Unilocal page says! A part of me is sad to see that this new location is classier and no longer actually feels like a hole in the wall joint. Is that weird? I just think the name is no longer valid. Also, I recently tried one of their burgers of the day(Crispy Chicken) because it sounded promising, but the chicken was fairly dry, leaving the sandwich bland. I’ll stick with building my own burger in the future. They still continue to deliver solid burgers for around $ 10(cash only!), so I would still recommend visiting this place for lunch.
