I usually go to the country mart to grab a burger and hang out for a bit. Tried this place because I love chocolate and was surprised how good it was compared to See’s Candies and chocolates like Godiva.
I really love the quality. The chocolate covered pretzels and caramel chocolates are amazing and they have a lot of other options and are very friendly and clean.

I’m not impressed. Having lived in Brentwood before, and frequented the Brentwood Country Mart, I know that I’m in for an expensive trip. But DAMN, $ 2.25 for 2 pieces of dark chocolate honeycomb, and NO FREE SAMPLES? (see: See’s Candies).
It was tasty, I’ll give them that. But still, too rich for my blood. See’s tastes just as good, and won’t cripple your wallet without a generous free sample.

Honestly, I was so prepared to hate this place with a fiery passion. My grandma loves this place, and, as she is recovering from surgery, I went into get her a pound (umm yeah $ 45 bucks per pound). I was shocked and dismayed. Surely they most be covering gold doubloons with some chocolate to charge that much? No, apparently they aren’t.
BUT this is pure chocolate artistry — fresh, commitment to excellence and so pure and delicious, you can taste the difference. Although I have a hard time buying some for myself, I did buy a box of four chocolate covered marshmallows for myself for Christmas. They even wrapped it perfectly. Customer favorites include: pretzels, Oreos and of course dark chocolate covered dates (for the season).

We placed an order to be picked up the next day. When we arrived at the store, no one was there. We had to call the management company and they had no idea when the store would open. We waited for over 20 minutes and still no one arrived. We will never, never give this company our business again.

The chocolate covered honeycomb bites are the perfect ending to a meal! We have been buying Edelweiss candy forever and have never been disappointed. Dark chocolate is the perfect covering for dipped orange slices, marshmallows, pretzels, and honeycomb. For the kids there are plenty of old favorites like Sweet Tarts and chocolate footballs. The chocolate at Edelweiss is over $ 2 a piece but so worth it!

Excited about this smaller outpost since it’s walking distance from my boyfriend’s parents house! Their dark chocolate covered toffee marshmallows are great. The mocha ones are great, too. And I love the chocolate covered honeycomb. My sister and I grew up going to the one in Beverly Hills on each visit to LA — and these were our favorite things to get!

Great selection, helpful owner, delicious bites in a cozy neighborhood location in Brentwood. Edelweiss is the brand that was made famous by the I Love Lucy classic episode about the chocolate making job Lucy and Ethel got. Worth a visit. We’ll be back for more!
