As I was trying on some shoes, the short brunette who works there(in her early to mid 40s) was screaming on the phone. She apparently was talking to some kind of driver she wanted for two lady customers. As she kept on screaming at the person at the other end of the line, I felt uncomfortable and so did other customers. I set aside the pair of shoes I was about to buy(a fairly good and expensive one), and made my way to the exit door as she hang up while saying«the idiot is pulling up!» To the two Asian tourists waiting with their bags. I stood right outside the door, a taxi did pull up as the short brunette with the two women came out. The driver got out of his cab and immediately apologized saying something about traffic but the brunette shockingly dismissed him with an incredible«stop lying you idiot!». The old man started loading the customers’ bags in his trunk when the brunette flagged down another cab. She turned to the two women and said don’t go with him(about the old taxi driver she was on the phone with), there’s your taxi(about the taxi she’d just stopped). The two women took their bags and got into the new cab as the old driver simply stood there silently. They may have good shoes, but I’ll never give my business to someone or to an establishment that tolerates this kind of behavior or treats other human beings in such a degrading way. I’ll never ever shop there and will make sure that all of my friends and family do the same.

Really good selection of high quality shoes. Why the one star review then? Because of their customer service. The salespeople will be extremely nice to you if you’re buying something but if God forbid their shoes don’t fit you or you’re not entirely sure if you like the pair all the niceness goes out of the door. The guy helping me last time I was there went from being super nice to telling me that I can’t retry the shoes and just took them to the back without even giving me the opportunity to ponder whether I wanted them or not. Mind, I was going to buy them if he actually let me try them again. All because the size I was trying was a little too big. Oh and they also try to convince you that you don’t know what you’re talking about if you think their shoes don’t fit. Never again. I’d rather go somewhere else or buy the same shoes online. Worst customer service ever. Stay away.

The lady who works there is a little jerk with a bad attitude.

Run, don’t walk, to this store. Was walking by on a Saturday afternoon and stopped in. I wasn’t even shopping for shoes, but the for sale sign caught my eye. I browsed around and began speaking with the personnel. I explained my limitations on shoes(bad previous injury, orthotic limitations, etc.) I have not been able to wear open toe shoes for any length of time for over 10 years. They found a sandle for me that allows me to insert my orthotic. I was sold immediately and proceeded to shop the entire day. I was absolutely pain free all day – the first time in 10 years. I was so impressed that I almost bought three other pairs. The only thing stopping me was funding! They are a bit pricey, but these are the best shoes I have ever purchased. They listened to me and were able to expertly fit me with my limitations. They would also point out the strengths and weaknesses of other shoes in the store that might challenge my limitations. Honest, hardworking and enthusiastic. Even though I live over 300 plus miles away, I will continue to do business with them because of their expertise and customer service!

If I had a million dollars a lot of it would go to this store. Unfortunately I don’t so I have to settle for some shoes and boots instead of tons. The service is excellent, so much so they know my name and sometimes my shoe size! They have stretched shoes for me and even a second time a week later. The brands that they carry are middle of the road in that they aren’t cheap and they aren’t over priced. They are the right price for the good quality of the shoes… although once in awhile you are paying for the name brand but that’s not on Bertini. When everyone else is walking up and down a mall to get their retail therapy I go to one place, here.

Killer shoes in the window that stop you dead in your tracks and make you say, «Wow». They have a second location near the Santa Monica Place Mall, on Broadway.
