My son received a gift certificate for his birthday, so we went in to spend his $ 25. Even though I had passed by many times, and live just a short walk away… I had never been inside to check it out.
This store is AMAZING! I love their unique selection and the fact that a majority of the toys are educational. They have an amazing variety of Melissa and Doug, as well as tons of other educational toys that caught my kids eyes.
The prices are a bit higher than elsewhere, but I don’t mind spending a few extra dollars to support a local store. We go to A LOT of birthday parties, and spend a fair amount of money on toys. From now on, this is definitely going to be my first stop for birthdays and Christmas!
If you are interested in toys that aren’t going to just mush your child’s brain, definitely stop in and check this place out!
Oh and also, customer service was great :)

Lets not forget how important it is to support your local economy and small business. Although saving $ 10 is $ 10, local business needs that $ 10 to stay afloat, the tax dollars come back to the local community to provide other services as well.
PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESS. Jeff Bezos (Amazon) has plenty of money!

I’m so glad we have this store in Santa Maria. This is the only place to look at curriculum. They even sell used books in the back and at the very back have an aisle of markdowns that are always a great deal. This is the place to go to get unique educational items such as astronaut ice cream, puzzles, math manipulatives, rocks, quality construction paper, etc… Great customer service as well.

This place is great! I was in awe of their toy and educational tool selection. I could spend a few hours in there, to be honest. Tons of stuff for kids, teachers, parents, homeschoolers. And the prices are quite reasonable.

I sold products for nine years to Mark C back when I was in the educational toy biz… always one of my favorite customers because he had such passion and wanted only the best products for his stores.
17 years since I’ve met him… he is still in business when so many other toy and teacher stores have gone out. His mix has changed — more toys now and less teacher/​school supplies — but his passion and desire to stock the best educational products has never wavered. It is why he is still around and thriving.
