Not sure what the problem was with the other reviews but I haven’t had a problem in the 15 years I’ve been coming here. I’m a big fan of the deli and it is a great value.

I usually enjoy supporting this Orcutt establishment, however today after walking through the car show with my service dog, I was not a happy customer. The cashier lady told me to take my dog out after I explained to her he is a service dog. She told me I am not ‘blind’ therefor he isn’t allowed per Health Department and still asked me to step out with my dog.
My advice to the owners, educate your employees on service animals and their rights. I’m not one to raise a stink over petty things, however this could potentially be a law suit waiting to happen.

a previous reviewer said they don’t drink, and drop’s in for a sando occasionally and gives them 2 stars. it ‘s a freaking liquor store man! a liquor store that also makes sandwiches that are pretty good for the money. service is spotty at the deli, but the beer selection is above average and good liquor selection but little liquor store prices. (high) they make good breakfast burritos as well.

I drop in occasionally to grab a sandwich. I’m not a drinker so the liquor store part does nothing gut me. I keep thinking that every time a go it the service will be better. It never is. The food is average and reasonably priced but the young girls working the counters haven’t a clue what customer service is or how to work. I’ve never found them rude like the previous reviewer mentioned but I did find them totally disengaged. Don’t make this your lunch destination.

Good place to stock up on ice or beer. Liquor specials. They have a great sandwich combo and their tortilla soup on Thursday is two Yum’s up.

Ok so here’s the deal with Orcutt Liquor… They got a good lunch deal with a deli sandwich that’s really good, 33oz soda and chips for like $ 5⁄6 bucks. Also there fountain drinks are fairly priced at .99 for a 32oz, and $ 1.25 for a 44oz. And I want to like this spot, I really do… But everyone there is pretty rude EVERY time I’m in there. It ain’t my fault you don’t like your jobs dammit! Plus there beer selection is less then good.
