What a lovely, lovely little place for lunch. Do arrive early unless you are able to walk a good ways after you find a place to park! Very limited parking close to the building, but despite that it’s worth it! I would gladly hike from a mile away to have lunch there. Very creative salads, which is really all I can speak to, plus their healthy refreshing drinks. For my salad I had The Nutty Pear-Fessor, grilled Bosc pears, bacon crumbles, toasted pecan halves & tangy blue cheese with tender greens and a ruby port vinaigrette. I actually think the eclipse for this has changed just slightly from the current Unilocal description, I’m pretty sure the pears are now marinated in a balsamic. It was great, I ate every bit and was sorely tempted to lick the bowl. The salad that my friend had was Harvest Moon, shredded kale, shaved green apples & red onions, ricotta salata, & roasted chicken tossed with sage croutons, warm lemon-drop vinaigrette. You have the option to «pair your salad» with various add ons from a choice of meats, fish, & et cetera. My friend had the Baked Panko-Crusted Goat Cheese. She shared 1 of the 3 she got with me & it was so very, very good. If I’m ever lucky enough to return I will be getting the 3 for myself!!! Our drinks were a cucumber/seltzer thing & I had a kale/green apple/seltzer mix. Very refreshing. I definitely want to return many times.

The food is delicious and healthy. This is one my favorite restaurants in Santa Fe! They are constantly coming up with fun new dishes and inspiring me to be more creative in the kitchen.

Was seated and waited 15 minutes. Someone finally asked me if I wanted something to drink. Then another 10 minutes and no one was by to take my order. The servers were standing right by me just having personal conversations or going to help tables that walked in after me. I got up to leave and they said thanks for coming. Went to la choza instead-great food, great service!

My best friend, mom, and I loved this place so much we ate here 3 times on our 4 day trip to Santa Fe. It had the exact atmosphere and food offering that we wanted: light, healthy, friendly, adorable, and affordable. It was a key part in making our trip to New Mexico one that we won’t soon forget.

LOVE the Cobb salad. I normally don’t like salads but Vinaigrette is amazing. They also have a great, friendly staff and a killer chef.

Called to check if they were open tonight 10÷26÷15. We had gone there for dinner on 10÷25÷15 and found them closed even though the web site said the Santa Fe location was open 7 days a week. So we called ahead tonight just to be sure. The person who answered the phone was quite rude when we asked if they were open tonight. Snotty. He acted like it was a silly question. We explained that we had been there the previous night and found them closed. He said«check again, I changed the web site today» in a very condescending tone to my spouse. I called back. Got the same guy. Same attitude and he hung up on me as I was about make a reservation. In case the owner is reading this, the rude«host» who answered was on duty at 4:10 pm on 10÷26÷15 and it a complete jerk. We were looking forward to enjoying what many others had recommended. So easy to lose a reputation with ‘help’ like this guy. Unilocal, please consider allowing zero stars.

Beautiful patio seating out in the open with fresh air is always a plus. Our server is friendly and patient. I really was looking forward to the Chopped tuna salad but they are out of tuna. We ordered the cucumber pepino but it seemed to lack simple syrup. I decided to order the yam sweet potato strings(not enough for 6.00 worth in my opinion) and the kale garlic ginger side. A bit too much ginger for my liking but still very good. We also ordered the Frisèe salad and that was very very good. Parking is tight but available. The restrooms are immaculate and the food was very good. Clean eating is always a plus!

Vinaigrette was a bit of the beaten path for an out of Towner staying at a local hotel, but was still reachable by foot. I ordered the beet salad and my wife got the Kale salad along with a bottle of Pinot. Anyway, both salads were excellent. The service was a bit spotty as we sat at the table for almost 10 minutes before being acknowledged. Frankly, this pissed me off, but our salads were so good that I got over it!

Food was great but service lacked. Had to request a water refill after other tables were serviced. Was with two colleagues and we were not asked if we would be paying separately, and when server brought the check I asked to pay my meal. Her response was that she«didn’t have time.» As a former server of 8 years, one knows this is not how to treat customers. Perhaps it had something to do we were the only people of color in the restaurant.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could! These guys really understand the subtlety and care that goes into good food. Great menu with many interesting choices. I had the frisée salad with bacon and egg. Huge portion and perfectly seasoned. The kale fitters were great too! I’ll be back tomorrow! :) Thanks Vinaigrette!

an expensive disappointment So I went here for lunch today with a colleague and left truly disappointed and feeling ripped off. First, for a salad place the menu is not very vegan friendly with meat or cheese in almost every dish. I ordered off the menu asking for an arugula salad with tofu and no cheese and no onions. 40 minutes later they bring out a big pile of arugula, a few pieces of pear, dressing and tofu — so plain and boring I could feel the contempt of the kitchen radiating out of the plate. Then the bill comes and they charged me for the Arugula Duck plus tofu(15+6)! $ 21 for a salad in Santa Fe! The waitress said this was the way the chef said to bill it. I complained and they took off the tofu charge but I still felt pretty ripped off and unimpressed. Vegetarians and omni’s may enjoy it but this vegan didn’t dig it at all.

They get credit for an inventive«New» Amerucan menu and lose credit for execution. The Arugula Duck salad was nicely dressed with Hibiscus vinaigrette, balsamic roasted pears and goat cheese, but the duck was supposed to be «confit» and it wasn’t. I was disappointed to find it simply shredded in rather large pieces. The corn pinwheels with cilantro chile marinade lacked chile… and salt. I fetched a salt grinder from a nearby table since the lackluster bartender didn’t bother to provide condiments. The com wasn’t sweet; nevertheless I scarfed it all since the salt and the oily marinade did make it tasty. I had the Basque Brown… locally brewed«on the Rio Grande» and it was good.

Ok, finding this place was a challenge. But don’t give up its worth it. I would recommend sitting on the tree shaded patio… if weather permits. It is simply lovely and it feels nice to dine al fresco. The drink menu is really good and I would recommend trying one of their con tigons I tried three… Roasted mushrooms… do it with a friend or two… They are awesomeness. Fresh salads, with amazing dressings, delicious cheeses and fresh vegetables. The choices are endless and you can add to any salad.(I added chicken to mine but it was dry.) but I ate all my salad titled Eat your peas and the rest of dining partner’s titled Salacho. Dessert: flourless chocolate torte! yum This place takes care of what it serves you, and how it’s served. Definitely eat here!

Easily the most overrated restaurant in Santa Fe. The service was deplorable, apathetic, and snail’s pace. The food was monolithic in its approach to taste and presentation. In other words: salt was present and it looked fresh but the bite you got was singular and underwhelming. Skip this contrived mediocrity and support the plethora of other LOCAL restaurants in Santa Fe. There are plenty of options.

Four of us had lunch on the patio today. Charming atmosphere. Chairs are not comfy for people with bony bodies. Bring your own cushions. Service was casual and somewhat attentive. Food was good. Portions are generous and healthful. My wife and I split the warm turkey sandwich with salad, and each of had the special lemon chicken soup. See photos below for this plus another dish ordered by a friend: peach, prosciutto, burratta salad.

The perfect stop for break from heavy cheese, meat, and chile dishes. We had the kale+apple spritzer(bright, tangy, refreshing), the peach, prosciutto, and burrata salad(sweet, salty, creamy), the hot turkey sandwich(heaven), and a side of the omega salad(more on that later). Everything was so delicious we scarfed it all in record time. The turkey sandwich was my favorite– house-roasted turkey, avocado, provolone, and mayo on sourdough. We added bacon and never looked back. The omega salad was the only dish we aren’t raving about, but we still managed to clean that plate, too. I’m going back tomorrow.

Super impressed by this place! The cute outdoor patio is filled with plants and umbrellas — sit out there if you can get a spot. The menu is extensive of different types of healthy salads slightly on the pricey side but worth it in quality. The service was really friendly and attentive. We ordered the sugar snap peas for an appetizer($ 6). It was served hot and covered with sesame. Really tasty but definitely a little expensive for the quantity. We got the hibiscus iced tea with grapefruit soda($ 4) which was refreshing and not too sugary. I like that the drinks and water are served in cute mason jars with a lemon. I ordered the Nutty Pear-fessor salad that had pear, bacon, blue cheese, and pecan. Very unique combo of flavors and the large serving size kept me full until dinner. My boyfriend ordered the kale caesar salad with burrata($ 17). The anchovy vinaigrette was very flavorful and stronger than other caesar salads I’ve had but I actually loved it. The burrata was extremely soft and creamy. The highlight of the dishes for me! Overall I would definitely come back here anytime I want a healthy meal!

I came here for a dinner with extended family without knowing that it was a salad restaurant; my initial disappointment was cured after tasting the burrata appetizer and then having my arugula and duck salad. Everyone’s salad looked beautiful with fresh ingredients and generous protein portions.

This is the best salad joint in town. Fresh, fresh ingredients and great premium protein add-ons like sea scallops, seared tuna, and cilantro lime shrimp. Be prepared to be a little bit patient. They can get quite busy. I didn’t make it very far down the menu today. I chose the second item, the La pepita. Spicy pepitas in kale with shredded chicken, blackbeans, avocados, and cotija cheese. I also ordered the kale spritzer. It’s yummy and refreshing. These are calories I don’t feel bad about drinking. There are some beautiful seating options outside now that it’s warmer. The courtyard is simple but well shaded. I know that they take reservations for dinner but I don’t think they do for lunch.
