Sadly, it’s true. Santa Fe Fabrics is closed except for their online store. I loved the store and very sad it’s gone. Another reviewer had posted the same thing and said she wasn’t likely to buy fabric online. I agree.

We stopped here while on vacation to look at southwestern style fabrics but the windows are all covered up with paper and the door is locked. A sign on the door states that they are going to online service only and this is just a nice way of saying they are out of business. Nobody is going to buy fabric that they cannot see and touch before purchase.

Love this place! They have the BEST southwest fabric and ribbon. I used them for my wedding runners and floral ribbon and both turned out amazing!

This is a great shop in Santa Fe! They not only have a great selection of quilting cottons(modern to traditional), they have amazing southwestern fabrics, gorgeous Liberty and Pendleton and lovely imported fabrics from Japan, Africa and South America. They were very friendly to me and I have to say they have much more patience than I would have had with some of the ridiculous customers who came in asking questions about making chair cushions as if it was home decorating agency. They were gracious to those guests and did their best to get to everyone who had questions or needed help. Worth a trip to Santa Fe for sure!

This place has beautiful southwestern fabric. I am a quilter from Illinois and never get to see such brilliant, bright colors and patterns unique to the southwest. It is a bit pricey(~$ 12/yd for cotton fabric), but worth it in my opinion.

I visited this store for the first time today, and am so excited that I found it! They have a great selection of quality fabrics, knowledgable staff, and tons of indie patterns. If you are into sewing you’ll be happy to hear they stock Colette, Amy Butler and other high-end indies. They have a good selection of fashion fabric, nice cottons, and great wools. A tightly edited selection of notions and so on as well. I am so happy to find quality fabric in Santa Fe! No more Jo-anns for me… Apparently they also offer classes, though I haven’t tried those yet.
