Santa Facials

I have had extremely bad skin for a very long time. Unfortunately, I got oily/​acne prone skin from my darling Dad and so I thought maybe my Dad could benefit from a great facial too. I researched facials here on Unilocal and found Santa Facials. Owner Marilyn was able to accommodate both me and my dad with facials at the same time. Marilyn worked on my dad and Lisette worked on my face. Marilyn and Lisette used oil free products on us and they were very educated and sensitive to our skin issues. I really appreciated how intelligent and well-​versed both were in dealing with our type of skin. They took their time with us (90 minutes) and really made us feel great. I especially loved the oxygen treatment an the chilled glass orbs they used during my facial. They both felt amazing. Because I have a lot of clogged pores Lisette took her time extracting all of my problem spots. I woke up this morning with younger looking skin and the acne I had the day before was drying up and healing up nicely :). I was really thrilled with the facials we received and the pricing was really fair compared to most places in Santa Fe that love to over-​charge tourists. I really appreciated that Marilyn isn’t trying to take advantage of her customers by overpricing or pushing a million products on you to buy. I will definitely go back to Santa Facials. Can’t go wrong here! Bravo to Santa Facials!

What a lovely experience. I got pampered and well educated in the same visit. This is a local treasure, but visitors should find it and indulge.

You will never find better service for the price than at Santa Facials. Their 90-​minute oxygen facial is $ 95, at least a full $ 100 less than a similar facial would cost in New York, where I live. The products are all organic and smell and feel divine.

The oxygen facial is amazing. Great, friendly, knowledgeable staff and wonderful product. Highly recommend this place!

I recently had an oxygen facial with Marilyn. It was so soothing and relaxing that I nearly feel asleep! Marilyn is a natural educator, letting me know exactly what she’d do next as well as offering helpful suggestions throughout the treatment. My skin hasn’t looked so good in years! Highly recommended.

Marilyn and Jeanne were terrific to us when we came for our facials. I explained that my friend was undergoing chemotherapy. They were instantly sympathetic and Marilyn said she had a special product for people getting chemo. She explained everything that she was doing and the products she was using. Jeanne did a wonderful massage on my face, neck, shoulders and arms. A great, caring experience and highly recommended.

I have been going to Marilyn at Santa Facials regularly for two years now and my skin is so much healthier and more radiant than ever. I found out about Santa Facials after eavesdropping on a conversation at the car wash. A client of Marilyn’s, who’s skin was absolutely beautiful, was recommending Santa Facials to someone else. I asked for her phone number, made an appointment, and I was hooked after my first appointment. It is by far the best facial I have ever had! I also have had a series of skin peels. They are excellent as well. Years ago I struggled with rosacea. These facials have cleared that up completely. Living in this dry, high altitude climate, facials are essential! Also, the Rhonda Allison products she uses are excellent.

I’ve been going to santa facials for a year now. Jeannie is amazing, I love her to death. I’ve never had a facial before Jeannie, I just love them. I try not to fall asleep because Jeannie is so fun to talk to. The peels are amazing also… my husband said I looked incredible after my peel. He’s all for it now :) and when Jeannie dyes my eyelashes, my eyes just pop. Everyone there is super nice. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

After I moved to Santa Fe my face was so dry, I had to find some help. Marilyn, the owner, was the right choice. I have been getting facials from her for about 8 months and the texture of my skin is so much better. She uses Rhonda Allison plant based products which I now use at home. She suggests the type of facial based on your individual skin, not like some places that only have one facial they give to everyone. I highly recommend her whether you live in Santa Fe or just visiting; you won’t be disappointed!

I always consult Unilocal when choosing services like nail salons, facials, spas, etc. I moved to the Santa Fe area a year ago and hadn’t had a facial in a long time. There was only one Unilocal review for Santa Facials, so I decided to give it a try. It was a very good decision and I’m making this little spa my facials HQ from now on.
Marilyn is the owner, she has two additional aestheticians who work part-​time. The ladies are very committed to skin care perfection and pampering their guests. The shop is in a renovated small adobe house on a tiny street just off Cerrillos Road, convenient to the Plaza and Railyard. Free parking (always an issue in this area) is located behind the building, accessed from Manhattan St. The salon is cozy and very Southwestern in décor, everything is done with client comfort in mind.
The treatments room at Santa Facials is one large area, divided by curtains into space for two clients. So this spa is perfect for husband/​wife facials or visits by two friends. The techniques and products are superb, especially the «Oxygen» spray. I needed a number of extractions, performed deftly by Marilyn. A small selection of products for sale includes «Beecology» and «Rhonda Allison» among other brands.
I recommend Santa Facials for visitors and locals in Santa Fe. My facial included a short hand massage plus neck and shoulders massage, while wrapped in a luxe terrycloth cocoon. Pricing is average for Santa Fe, the pampering is way above average.
Update ¹²⁄₂₀₁₄ I continue to be very happy with this mini spa. Marilyn has furnished the spa with Balinese furniture and beautiful art, it’s a peaceful and serene environment. At Christmas-​time clients can select a gift from the «giving tree,» choose a tiny scroll hanging on the tree to reveal your prize.

Integrity, quality service, excellent product line, state-​of-​the-​art equipment– this is a one-​woman show that I have had the good fortune to sample recently. Marilyn, the owner, goes out of her way to be sure you are taken care of, with multiple follow-​up visits encouraged, product samples and education about your particular skin issues. Highly recommend!

What a lovely day spa and centrally located too. The Oxygen Spa is a real treat for dry skin that comes with visiting or living in Santa Fe and many friends swear by her peels for sun damage that can take 10 years off! Really love the Rhonda Allison products. She also did a lovely facial on my 80 year old mother and spotted some areas that needed medical attention — thank goodness!
