This gallery carries beautiful ceramic works from Native American/Pueblo artists. I was directed to it by someone else because I was interested in pieces where the traditional form melds with contemporary quirky/humorous. And I was successful. At the time of this writing, at this gallery there were pieces by Diego Romero. In many of these ceramic works he included images inspired by Roy Lichtenstein, yet portraying traditional archetypes — perfectly and precisely executed and uproariously funny. Gallery owner is knowledgeable of relevant cultural background of the works and is affable and welcoming. This is a gallery to check out if you’re looking for unique and wonderful pieces that are«outside the box.»
