This is one of the worst restaurants I’ve even been to. Why do so many people think it’s great? Over the years I’ve been there three times. It’s very over priced for the portions and the last time I was there, I ordered some kind of beef off the menu and it had a very strange taste — spoiled meat, maybe. When I told the waitress she asked me if I wanted her to bring me some ketchup !!!

Save your money, way overpriced. Great service and tasty food, but i spent $ 28 for dinner myself and left hungry.

Lemongrass Noodle: it might be the best bowl of noodle i had. One could complain about the price tag but quality of ingredients is everything. Seafood in the broth are fresh and top notch, broth is wild but extremely flavorful.

With only 4 thai places open for biz, with an account on Unilocal,in Santa Fe. there wasn’t much to choose from. However, this place was recommended by our air bnb host and we are so glad. We ordered the chicken pad Thai, beef noodle, and spring rolls. All were great, especially the beef dish. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving an Asian cuisine! They opened at 5:30 pm and we were pleased they took our order at 5:00pm and had it ready by opening. We really like this place, and hope to be back for seconds!

Outstanding! Excellent service and truly delicious food. We got the emerald dish and the scallops were cooked perfectly. Truly a special treat for being in the high desert.

Absolutely fabulous! Wonderful food that will make you yearn for more. I’m a local, and I crave this food. Try the Beef Jantaboon, Malaysian Laksa, Lamb Martabek, and anything on the special menu. Enjoy!

Emerald Sautee is our favorite seafood and noodle dish. Some desserts are out of this world. The outdoor patio is really nice and has a great vibe. Mu and her staff make you feel like family.

I am here on business trip, and picked this place because its listed as Vietnamese. I only give 3 stars for the friendly service. But I just cannot give higher rating on good conscious for charging $ 25 for a bowl of rice noodle. I was looking for Phở but all the prices are similar so I picked the Beef Jantata Boon. The taste wasn’t bad, but its definitely not worth $ 25. Their portion of the rice noodle would be like $ 1 retail price in an Asian market, I also had their coconut(usually called Tom Ka) soup, $ 9 for a small cup sized a little bigger than a tea cup. Most of their noodle items were around $ 25 which is a bit ridiculous.

Way too expensive!!! We are in town for winter vacation. Ate at Paper Dosa couple days ago and met a patron who recommended Jambo café and MuDu Noodles. We did. Yesterday, we had an awesome meal at Jambo café. Today, we tried MuDu. Well, we were excited but then quickly turned to disappointment. My husband ordered Penang noodle with tofu but came with shrimp. They did quickly corrected it. My Beef jantaboon came nicely presented. However, my first impression was«really? For $ 25?» It has to taste like heaven to charge $ 25 a bowl that size. After a few bites, I asked for a bowl of rice to go with the over-sauced noodle dish. Granted the beef and noodle was very good, I can hardly take more bites because it’s just too salty and the sauce overpowered the fresh ingredients. What a shame. Noodle were very small portion. Beef quantity however can be reduced. Every bite tastes like more beef than noodle. If that’s how you like your noodle dish, by all means. They also charged $ 2 for the rice(very tiny bowl). Will I return again when I’m in town? Not if they reduce the price and correct the sauce/noodle portion. My husband likes his Penang noodle but said that he will not return to MuDu. Honestly, I got better food and dining experience at Jambo and Paper Dosa. Sorry MuDu!

We saw great Unilocal reviews and so thought we would give this restaurant a try. We were not disappointed, it was really good. I especially liked the Laksa noodle a favorite of mine from my many years of living in Asia. I have high standards with Asian food having lived in Singapore, the food capital of Asia. I did not expect something so tasty. It was very tasty… and so were the beans to start. Also, homemade desserts we tried a gluten free chocolate one that finished off the meal well. Also if you are a fan of fresh made tea, try their ginger tea, it’s warming and great on a cold night. Excellent service to add to a highly enjoyable evening. We hope to come back when we next visit Santa Fe!

My husband and I had a delicious, fresh and creative meal tonight at Mu Du Noodle. Everything was great from start to finish. The waitress was helpful and knew the menu well. I like restaurants that are a little off the beaten tract and cater a bit more to locals and we look for these when we travel. We discovered Mu Du noodle on our last trip to Santa Fe and really couldn’t wait to come back again on this trip. The restaurant is small so reservations are recommended. The décor is simple and makes you feel comfortable and at home. The regular menu is accompanied by a list of daily specials. We started with a special warm autumn salad served with a truly delicious miso dressing, beef bone broth and kimchi soup and fresh spring rolls in rice paper. All three were excellent, the spring rolls full of crunchy fresh vegetables came with two dipping sauces that complemented them perfectly. The salad was beautiful and had a variety of vegetables from the local farmers market and even though I mentioned it before the dressing was a perfect complement to the salad and made it special indeed. The bone broth soup with kimchi was such a treat. I have been hiking every day this week and was a bit cold and tired and this soup was just what I need to revive me. The broth was rich and flavorfull and the addition of Kimchi was brillant. For the main course I had the Pad Thai with organic tofu and if I lived in Santa Fe I am pretty sure I would come to Mu Du Noodle at least once a week for this tasty and dish. It came not only with the tofu but also bok choy, broccoli, bean sprouts, egg, ground peanuts, light rice noodles and a lovely tamarind sauce. The dish was not heavy or greasy but bright and delicious. Each and every ingredient in this dish had a purpose and worked in concert to create a memorable experience for my mouth. My husband had the tandori chicken balls on rice with kale(or spinach). The dish was not hot and was immediately and happily returned to the kitchen. It came back to the table and it was clearly not microwaved to heat it up the dish was recreated in the kitchen and returned hot and delicious. My husband finished every bit in the bowl. I see some people thought the prices were to high. I just don’t think they appreciate the freshness and quality of the ingredients and the thought and care that goes into each dish. The owner brought us the ginger apple pie with organic vanilla ice cream, she told us she made it herself and cut all the apples by hand personally. It looked great and tasted even better. The crust was flakey and the apples were sweet, delicious and complemented but not over powered by the ginger. The only bad thing is that we live in Philadelphia and we cant come back here as often as we would like. If you are anywhere near Santa Fe, don’t miss this gem of a restaurant.

Yum! Excellent fresh food with delicious, deep flavors. Get the seafood emerald dish. The meringue dessert is to die for! The owner and staff are super sweet :) My only criticism was that the food was a bit greasy but I will definitely be going back!

Tasty food but the price is astounding. I ordered via phone after looking at their menu online and was shocked with an $ 82 bill for a take-out order consisting of 3 medium sized noodle dishes, fresh spring rolls and a small salad. I understand that organic ingredients and quality product costs are higher and am happy to pay for such but a $ 28 noodle entrée(85% noodles, aka flour and water) is unreal. I would never have ordered take-out from this restaurant if I had seen the prices in advance. Tip to the owners… I’d highly suggest putting prices on your online menu. I literally thought I was being charged for my order twice.

Prior reviewers on the money. Malasian Laksa superb, and the brown rice with chicken and shrimp and cilantro a great second. About $ 18 per plate, but we took enough back to the RV for a second meal. We recommend it for something different, in the City Different.

I’m trying this place for lunch for the first time. I was surprised to see only one noodle dish offered. You would think they would have more options with a place called«Mu Do Noodles.» Still, the grilled pork loin vermicelli salad was outstanding. A mouthful of fresh, explosive favors. Excellent!

We had dinner at Mu Du last week, we all loved the food. Big portions but a little bit pricey. Service was ok, for some reason they didn’t bring the appetizers all together but one first and after 10 minutes 2 more, after more 5, the last one!

We have been coming to Mu Du Noodle since it first opened. We plan our trips from California so that we can have a meal here. The food is always world class. Fresh and unique. Mu the owner is a sweet and warm host.

The noodles are wonderful. Spicy is quite authentic. Love the environment and services. Seafood is fresh. And generally speaking portions are small, pretty costy Though on Unilocal is 2 dollars, but noodles are around 20 – 25, and dessert and appetizer are around 8 – 10.

As a huge lover of Asian cuisine, I have to say that this was hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had in recent years. The daikon noodle appetizer was carefully made and very savory, the jade brown rice dish had fantastic texture, and the Malaysian curry noodles were rich in spice and flavor. Couldn’t be happier to start my Santa Fe trip here – would wholeheartedly recommend this charming place for fantastic service and food that balances authentic asian dishes with innovative interpretations.

Finally, some really good non-New Mexican cuisine in Santa Fe!!! MuDu is admittedly a bit pricey for noodles(~$ 20 per entrée), BUT the ingredients are local, organic, natural, etc. My yuppie self is usually willing to pay a bit more for that kind of quality. Plus everything was delicious! My Malaysian laksa was creamy, complex, and generously portioned, and my stolen bites of my hubby’s Singapore noodles were tasty too(mmmm bbq pork). We also enjoyed a deliciously salty/spicy green bean appetizer compliments of our waiter, who could maybe tell that we were newbies and wanted to win us over.(It worked.) I’ll certainly go back, and in the meantime, I’m happy to spread the good word!
