Blake’s Lotaburger

Yes lotaburger was a great place for burgers but now the quality is terrible. The one at Zia gave me by far the greasiest mess of a burger. The order was completely wrong. And when I asked for a new one they just burned the same soggy bun and put new meat on. It was disgusting. I will not return to that particular location, if any. The quality at all of them has gotten rather disappointing.

Was disgusting! The whole order was wrong. Food not like it used to be. Flat soda. Ughh! What happened to this place?! Plus the cost! Could have went to a nice restaurant.

For a tasty fast-​food/​greasy/​thin-​patty green chile cheeseburger in NM, I love Blake’s Lotaburger. They use real NM green chile, and food is made to order. Generally, the food is reliably good, including juicy burgers with toasted buns and fries that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, but once, I did have an over-​cooked (to dryness) burger. Also, yesterday when I went, the person taking my order seemed to be clueless and there was mayo on my burger despite asking for «no mayo» and then confirming it for her when she asked, «No mayo?»
Of course, since it’s a local chain, and employees vary, your experience might be different, depending on the business of the restaurant and/​or how experienced the workers are. My experience is generally good.
As for ambiance (which I don’t really take into account at a fast food place unless it’s visibly unsanitary, which this place isn’t), I’m not a huge fan of Blake’s Lotaburgers’ general white theme, since it makes everything seems a little bit dirty and old, even if it isn’t. I do like the black and white photos of early Blake’s restaurants.

This is a really good burger & fries. Old fashioned burger & fries. Burgers come with mustard, so you better change it if you don’t like mustard

My favorite of the various Blake’s locations in town. The best breakfast burritos of the four locations I can think of. They really get the ratio of beans-​cheese-​chile just right.
Call-​in orders are the way to go. They usually say 10-​minutes on the phone, but I’ve been there in about 5 – 6 and my order has been ready to go.

I love their breakfast burritos, freshly make when order. Called in to order this morning on my way to work and within 10 mins it was all ready.
No drive through at this location, must come in. Though friendly employees.

Don’t waste your time or your money. National Geographic supposed name Lotaburger the 4^th best burger in the country. Don’t believe it. They use frozen patties. I’m guessing they are loaded with filler. The mustard overwhelmed the taste. I couldn’t taste the beef. The burger is far worse than Burger King and McDonalds… and for more money. The fries were hot, but the oil they use leaves a lot to be desired. The shakes were from soft serve, not real ice cream. I was given a number and waited quite a while for my order. The people behind the counter were falling over each other. A few minutes after I received my order, they called the same number I was given. It was for a totally different. I felt guilty taking a second order, so I informed the girl at the counter of the duplicate number with a different order. The girl couldn’t understand why I wasn’t picking up my order… because I already had gotten it a few minutes earlier. The restaurant looked relatively clean, but at lunch time, they should have assigned someone to bus and clean the tables. This was an aweful experience with a very inferior product. As I said, don’t waste your money.

Best LotaBurger in Santa Fe.

There was only one clean table in this place, and the floor was covered with trash. HOWEVER… the food is great! Might want to rethink presentation…

This review is only related to the terrible attitude that the manager’s terrible attitude towards her customers. I came in earlier in the day, around 12:00 and bought a large iced tea. No sweat, $ 1.93, in and out the door. I went to my class and after it was done, I swung by this location AGAIN to get a refill. Same cup, so you’d think there wouldn’t be any problem.
NOOO… This manager tells me I can’t get a refill because it’s been two long. OK, no problem, I pay for a refill. This manager then tells me that I can’t use the same cup, so I have to get a new styrofoam cup!!! I managed to explain to her (although she probably didn’t understand my point) that I wanted to use the same cup because it is eco-​friendly… So I eventually got what I wanted, but her attitude the entire time was piss-​poor.
