You get more than what you pay for when you shop here and you are selective. I only buy their leggings and tunics and they cheap but they last a really long time. Definitely a cute place to shop where you can go hunting for good pieces.

This place is a cute little boutique located in downtown SC. Everything was $ 16(or less) with basics(tights, camis, tees) for $ 4. The clothing is color coordinated around the store but they are cute and affordable! Quality not the best here, but it isn’t at many other shops like forever21. Workers were sweet and more than helpful with anything. Overall, I would definitely come back again! A major complaint is that many of the clothing items do no have their sizes listed. Lastly, they do not take returns, only exchanges!

I’ve gone twice. There will never be a third time. The first time started out OK. I went in because of the sign«Nothing over $ 16.00» that was outside. It’s accurate — nothing is over $ 16.00 but the style is very specific and the clothing quality is cheap. I was really disappointed when I picked up an item that had a sale tag on it and took it to the cash register. The clerk at the register told me that the item had been mislabeled and it was actually full price. I pointed out there were several identical items with the same sale tag and she said«I’m sorry. I’m just a sales clerk.» and indicated she could not do anything about it. I asked for the manager and was told that there was no manager on duty. I left. I went a second time because a friend wanted to check it out. I found two items on the«Buy one get one 50% off» rack. Both items had sale tags of $ 13.88(or something close). I got to the cash register and was charged over $ 30.00! What??? ½ of $ 13.88 is $ 6.94 thus my total(pre-tax) should have been $ 20.82. Adding 9% tax(more than what is charged in the city of SC) should mean the total should not have been more than $ 22.69. So, I asked«What’s up? both of these items are clearly sale items and the sign says ‘Buy one get one 50% off’». She had some story that the sign was based on some«actual retail» that is not displayed anywhere in the store and that by buying two sales items I’m actually getting the deal. I claimed that if it says«Buy one get one 50% off» it should be based on the prices on the tags. She said«I’m sorry. I’m just a sales clerk.» and that there was no manager on duty to address my concerns. Hmm… where have I heard that before? Yep. Never going back.

Heavenly couture is a cute boutique and everything in the store is exceptional. I had a very unique and unhelpful experience today at the register with the assistant manager, Wednesday. yes that is her name. The deal is you buy 2 clearance items and get one 50% off. During checkout Wednesday insisted one of the clearance items was incorrectly marked and could NOT grant me the price as marked or the BOGO deal. She did not offer any other reasonable resolutions. I then asked her if she could please call a Manger to clarify because I felt it was unfair to deny a price and BOGO deal if it was their mistake. Her district manager approved their mistakE and was able to guide her through the correct process. Thank you Yura Mun for accommodating and guiding her through the checkout I really appreciate it. I mainly wrote this post because I feel customers shouldn’t have to go through such an unpleasant ordeal.

I stepped in for the first time today and found two cute tops. Everything seems to be $ 16, with stuff on sale for $ 11⁄12 and little camisoles for $ 4. They were doing buy one get one 50% off sale stuff when I was here today. A lot of things weren’t in my style and seemed to be one really particular kind of style: trendy slouchy stuff that looks good on skinny girls, and I’m pretty curvy; or else huge sweaters in that Navajo blanket pattern, or blazers with an unusual cut. Stuff for girls to wear to work that isn’t trudging around hauling dusty books from one place to the other. :) I probably won’t shop here super often, but it’s nice to know that it exists. The staff member who helped me was really nice and attentive. She started a changing room for me so I wouldn’t have to carry a bunch of stuff around, with is not something that any other store, big or small, has ever offered to do for me.

The Heavenly Couture caught my attention when I was randomly walking around and saw a number of people inside. This store has a lot of cute clothes so I was surprised when I noticed there was only 1 review(and a negative one no less). So this is my attempt to add another perspective for all you Unilocalers. Though a lot of the items weren’t really in my style(this is common for me when it comes to boutiques), I did find a blue/black patterned jacket which fit me just right. Loved that it was below $ 20 and even added a picture. This place is definitely worth a try so check it out the next time you’re in downtown Santa Cruz.

Advertising all items $ 16 or less gets you exactly what you might imagine– made in china as in the seconds of what might be considered cheap and cheerful. Not much cheerful about the contents of this bland storefront. Looking for wear once and toss couture? This is a sure bet for landfill.
