The Good — people like to recycle. The Bad — it can get crowded very quickly. Not all bad tho. If you want to use the self serve machines to get a better refund rate you will go slow. The machines tend to reject bottles randomly. I had exact bottles and cans get accepted and then others of the same kind spit back out. Don’t crush or dent them either if you want to use the machine — it won’t take them. If you opt for the general redemption by weight you will move out much quicker. Be sure to have the containers fully emptied and no rain water or anything dripping out or they will deduct 5% of the value automatically. Good convenient location and you get your cash in the Albertsons. There are other larger places where you get more cash and less crowds.

witnessed more than 3 altercations here, usually mind my own business… never ask for help and always follow the rules but the guy that works here is just the rudest and meanest!!! He never helps anyone and instead of educating and instructing, he scolds people. Today I came 1 hour before closing and he told me they were closed, all the while just standing there and chatting on his phone. Makes it very unpleasant for Albertson’s patrons. just saying.

Regardless of what day or time of day I head over here This place always seems so busy. But what is more annoying than how busy they always seem is how unhelpful and rude their employees seem. I have encountered two different employees on my numerous visits here. The younger guy is a little more helpful than the older guy that works here. The older guy can be outright mean to people. I always prefer to use the machine so I don’t have to talk to this older guy. During this visit I did see the older guy speaking so rudely to a customer.

We have been repeatedly frustrated with this place. EVERY time we go there we seem to leave with a truckload of empty bottles because for some reason the RUDE man that works there is either«full» or ready to go home. Even though it’s posted that he is open until 4:30…apparently patrons are expected to know that nothing can be dropped off after 3:45…so so frustrating.. .we will never go back

I’ve had a similar experience at this place many times(can’t reliably go there to recycle because they are«full’), and yes, the man was rude. But… The only reason I’m giving it two stars is because I see a glimmer of hope because of the comment by Replanet to the other poster. It looks like they are trying to take steps in the right direction. I also wanted to point out that in spite of another reviewer’s bad experience when she called the toll free number, I actually had a positive experience. I spoke with Crystal who was able to inform me of the hours of operation and confirmed that both machines near Albertson’s on Bouquet Canyon close to me are open and operational, and they are not«full» yet, so I’m welcome to bring my recycling in. I will say that they need to get the recycling centers emptied whenever they are starting to approach full, and the people that work there ought to be able to notify Replanet and have them come with a truck right away when they are starting to get full!!! «Full» should NEVER be an excuse not to take my recycling in! I paid the extra money for each bottle and can, I took care to rinse, store, collect, load and bring my recycling in, polluting the planet slightly while driving there, so they should NEVER turn me away. This is my time and my schedule they are messing with when I’m trying to do the right thing for the planet. Again, I’ll hang on to my glimmer of hope and report again whenever I have the time, about my good or bad experience there. Also, I have a tip for Replanet customers to avoid frustration. Why not call the toll-free number each time before heading to recycle? From my experience they answer pretty quickly. I’m putting this number in my cell right now, so I can do this each time before heading down there. I hope this doesn’t cause other problems of them being inundated with phone calls, but hey, until I learn that this place is reliable, I have to protect my time and sanity somehow. Once we know we can trust they are open and not«full», I’m sure the phone calls will stop, so I’m hoping this will just be a transition.
