I’ve ordered two rice cakes from this bakery. The cake for my son’s 100^th day was okay, so I ordered another for his 1^st birthday. The cake must have been a few days old, because it was EXTREMELY DRY! I was embarrassed to serve it to our guests. However, the biggest reason why they will never get our business again is because when my husband went to pick up the cake, the owner told him, «Why do I always have to tell you white boys that it’s cash only?» Well, she hadn’t told this Asian girl that it was cash only either.

My favorite rice cake shop!!!:) they have the best rice cake in bayarea. Fresh, soft and healty. I usually eat it for my breakfast n i lost over 10pounds!! woohoo haha U can order all kinds of cake or u can buy in korean market (like galleria or hankookmarket.) Last time i ordered rice cake for my moms bday it was hugeee and everybody loves it. Lady gave me a lot of cake for free as well hehe. Highly recommended:)

We just stopped in because we were curious. There were a few packages of day old goods that the owner sold for less than half off ($ 2)! Other than that I think you have to preorder the rice cakes. Then she gave my young daughter a fresh rice cake for free! It was soooooo good! Slightly sweet and a little savory and the texture was amazing, so chewy. The owner was so nice. I love this place.

This is where you get your dduk for any special occasion (lately a lot of dols).
Order in advance, pick up so freaking fresh and delicious.
Nice chew, not to sweet.
If you come here in the morning, they have packaged dduk that’s leftover from the orders at a great price. Super cheap. You always know when they have dduk by if the door is open or not. If it’s closed they’ve sold all the dduk they made.
Again, really fresh.

Ordered rice cakes here for my son’s 100 days. They accommodated my request last minute (week of!) and were not overpriced. The owner lady is very nice and helpful, and so was another lady who gave us some extra rice cakes they made that morning for free when we picked up the order. The fresh rice cakes were very soft and yummy. Until then I only tried their pre-packaged ones at the supermarkets down the street.
