Basic bar, real friendly people, the bartender was very attentive and host was real pleasant. Great find. We just needed to have a drink during the weekday. It was 10pm and we where looking for a bar close to home and we came across this place. The price was fair. They closed at 11pm so that was a plus. I will have to try the food.

Not bad at all despite the reviews. Free wine with Corp room, fillet was just fine!

hahahhahahahahaha. sorry I had to. They get the 1 star for giving their guests a free ticket to the breakfast buffet… and 1 star for having some mmmm mmmm potatos. ok that’s it. No really. Tell me why it took forever to get a refill on drinks. I swear, they saw we had a complimentary coupon for buffet and walked the other direction… each time we had an empty glass, we looked up and saw them pouring into other people’s glasses and avoided ours. Thanks waiter. thanks… hahaha. yeah they«hopped» from table to table… meaning they skip every few tables. Great name for your restaurant. what I felt was even worst… when you ask the waiters for something… they go to OTHER tables and grab it for you. We asked for tabasco. They went to another table WITH a guest and take from their table… without saying anything and just grab and go. I couldn’t believe it. Then when another guest wanted coffee, the waiter turned around to OUR table and took our coffee glass that we weren’t using on OUR table and grabbed it without saying anything. hahahahahahaha. whaaaaaaaaat??? something really gets me with those hired to work at the Biltmore. I guess a requirement is no customer service.

A mix-up led a group of us to this train-wreck of an excuse for a restaurant. Sure, there were eleven of us. Sure, we didn’t all come in together. But is it that hard to have bread plates on the table? Is it that hard to give us enough menus? Is it that hard to come and take our orders? Maybe I’m missing something, but shouldn’t the beer menu at a place called«Hops» bear some resemblance to what you can actually get? It took some of us three tries — ordering off the menu, mind you — to find a beer that they had, and one guy ended up with a totally stale draft Pyramid. Yuck. The service was so incredibly slow that the people at one end of the table — who were being as polite as possible and waiting as long as they could — still finished their dishes before the last person was served. Sure, we had a big group, but we were also approximately the only people in the entire restaurant! And when we finally did get served, I counted six out of eleven dishes that actually came out as they were ordered. Six out of eleven on most grading scales is an F. For FAILURE. The food that we did get didn’t even taste like anything. It was like the food you joke about at banquet halls — «a plate of rubber chicken» — that we actually ordered off a menu and dropped $ 20 for each entrée. Some places are awful, but at least try to redeem themselves with earnest effort. Here, they don’t even try.

Nice restaurant inside the Biltmore Hotel. Great staff and a nice quiet place to have dinner. I really enjoyed the warm bread that is served to you, their passion iced tea and Canjun Shrimp & Scallop Linguine :)
