Pretty good Mexican food. It is in a plaza with many different types of food. They had some good beer selection and the fajitas were so-so.

I ordered my food and was handed a to go bag. I NEVER said«to go». My son and I were sitting ready to dine it when the employee handed me the bag. He didn’t apologize or correct the order. While pulling my food out of the bags I had to ask for a plate. After this horrible service I realized the food isn’t worth it. The chicken fajitas have no flavor. I rather drive to San Jose for Mexican food.

Food was adequate. I got here at 8:20 pm and they close at 9 pm. Girl who took my order didn’t ask me if I wanted it «for her or «to go», so I asked her how she set it up. She said«to go» and I asked her to change it «for here». She said ok and then told me «Well, you didn’t ask for it that way at first.» Uhh… that’s because most places ask me before choosing for me. I got my food around 8:30 pm and I figured I have time, but around 8:45 pm a different girl comes from the back and starts turning off the Open sign and other miscellaneous lights around the restaurant. I was eating the last few bites off my plate and she comes up to me and asks if I’m done so she can take the plate. Her whole demeanor felt to me like she was trying to rush me out(I was the only person there). I obliged them and left. I’ve worked in customer service oriented jobs and even if it’s almost closing time, I don’t rush the customers. I want them to feel welcome, not like a burden. I doubt I would ever come back here due to the employees not having the ability to provide good customer service.

Hear with a buddy of mine, small little hole in the wall, but not the traditional hole. Lol Buddy had a chimichanga, he thought it was good«(who dont like a fried burrito)». It wasn’t a large burrito came with rice and beans, rice was ok, wasnt mouth watering, didn’t try the rest. I had a quesadilla with carne asada, it was good size portion. The meat had plenty of flavor, tortilla had a nice crunch, meat had a sear, but doesn’t come with crema or a good amount of salad(chopped lettuce). The more traditional places give out heaps of the salad, & crema. The salsa was ok nothing mouth watering or super spicy, how I like it. But I’m not in east San Jose im in Santa Clara, the place is ok, but nothing like la vics, or good old homemade madness! The salsas are not spicy at all but nonetheless the place is decent.

HORRIBLESERVICE! I went to pick up several orders for coworkers. I wanted a receipt with the cost of everything and explained this to the cashier. She was terribly rude and refused to give me one. I had a credit card receipt but explained I needed a breakdown of costs but still nothing. She then bypassed me and started talking to a customer behind me to get me out of the way. I ended up calling the manager to get a receipt which ended up being the hand-written ticket the cashier wrote my order on. Food was decent but doesn’t matter, never going back.

Perfect carne asada tacos! I constantly crave taco truck tacos, that taste authentic and fresh — the fiancé found this place as we were driving home today. It’s tucked away and next to a few other restaurants. I ordered 3 carne asada tacos and he ordered shredded chicken tacos which he enjoyed. The hot sauces were delishhhhhhhh and complemented the tacos perfectly. Will definitely be back!

We ordered a rice & bean burrito(wet) and veggie enchiladas to share amongst 2 of us. It was definitely more than enough food. There was wayyy too much cheese in the burrito(despite us asking for light cheese) and that overpowered the taste of everything else. The enchiladas were fine, nothing special. We asked for the sour cream on the side, but they still put it on top of the enchiladas. Service wasn’t very good. The waitress was rude and didn’t come by to check on us. We were eating outside and had to go inside to order drinks. She also overcharged us $ 6 on the enchiladas. When I asked her about it, she said that was the price for the enchiladas with a side of rice and beans. We asked for the a la carte option w/o rice and beans, and she just said«you didn’t say anything when I brought it out» — we didn’t realize she brought out a different dish than what we asked for! The free chips and salsa were delicious. No refills though :( All-in-all, decent food, but there are Mexican restaurants in the area with similar quality food and significantly better service. Definitely won’t be returning here again.

We ordered the chicken Enchiladas Suizas with green sauce and it was pretty good. Great value for a pretty good dinner. We split it amongst the 2 of us.

On our way to the Grateful Dead show in Santa Clara, we decided it would probably be more cost effective to eat outside of Levi’s stadium. A couple blocks from the stadium we thought it’d be a good place to grab dinner as we figured the food inside the stadium would be terrible and over-priced.(We were right). Dona Maria is clean(smells like Fabuloso cleaning products) and orderly, and while a couple of the pleather booths had tears in the seats, the tables and utensils looked clean. We sat down and a nice guy came over to wait on us. We ordered a couple Pacificos with lime and some street tacos, 4 carne asadas for him, 2 chicken for me, with a side of guac, beans and rice. It was all good, typical taqueria style, but yummy. Total bill was $ 22.

I’m surprise they call themselves Mexican Restaurant! My wife told me a while ago that she ordered some take-out, taco salad was good. I thought of giving them a tried tonight, and ordered something different to test this place out. As soon as I’ve stepped in, I scanned their menu, and decided for 2 Tacos Grande(Carne Asada and Lengua), they were out of tongue(Lengua), so, I’ve settle for 2 carne asada. Having high hope this would be just like any other Mexican joint, I was in dismay. The tacos tasted like crap! Bland, no flavor, dry, and beans?! Seriously? This isn’t Burrito! Why the heck there’s beans in Taco?! I have never seen beans in a Taco, I’ve been to several places across Mexico, and ate lots of Mexican restaurant across California. Never had beans in Taco! Anyway, it was my worst taco experience ever. Even taste worst than Taco Bell! Which I don’t consider a Mexican venue. But still have much flavor in them. Please, do yourself a favor and stop going to this place. Trust me! There’s few other Mexican around the overpass on Lafayette and 100x more authentic than this place! I really don’t know how they manage to get 3.5 stars?

I ordered a grande carne asada burrito for dinner, and it was okay. My burrito had rice, pinto beans, cheese, avocado, cheese, onions, and of course meat. It lacked flavor and the ingredients were unevenly spread. I didn’t taste the cheese until about halfway through my burrito. There were too many big chunks of tortilla and I feel they could have put more ingredients. The red and green salsas they gave were good though. The green salsa tasted different from other green salsas I’ve had. We were also given chips with fresh salsa, which was delicious. It was spicy and had tomato chunks. I think the most enjoyable part of the meal was the fresh salsa, and come to think of it, I don’t know why burritos don’t come with pico de gallo. Anyway, I have had much better Mexican food at other places, so I won’t be coming back.

I have a feeling this place is good but because I usually tend to stay away from excessive carbs, dairy(cheese), and fat I ordered a taco salad w/o the shell. The best part of a taco salad is the taco shell fried to perfection so I was hurting a little bit. The romaine lettuce were fresh, the avocado was fresh, and the salsa concoction were fresh. It’s a pretty small salad compared to the price that I paid. I forgot about the sour cream. not the fault of the nice lady that took our order. I’ll come back to try enchiladas.

Pretty good mexican place. Free chips n salsa while you’re waitin for your food. A minus tho is that they dont have a salsa bar, but they do have red/green sauce. Usually I will gauge a mexican food place by ordering something ive alredy had but ive never had a CHILERELENNO burrito so i decided to go for it. Thought itd be but it was jus ok for me. I got the wet burrito with half green/half red sauce. I felt there coulda been more cheese and the sauce wasnt as flavorful as i liked. Also, the burrito itself had too many beans with the chile relenno being in the middle. As for now, I am still kind of undecided on whether this place is a 3 or a 4. I think next time I’ll try a shrimp/meat burrito and see whats up with that. If you dont like beans id probably recommend u tell em to ease off on it as I felt there was an abundance. Overall this place is a solid Mexican food joint and is definitely one of the more cleaner n friendlier places.
