Great place to find novelty items for your party. You have a theme, they have something fun to go with it.
I have never experienced rudeness, but have seen the owners take children to task when the parents were not keeping an eye on their own kids.
(BTW the owner has Tourettes and lacks some social skills like Aspergers. his words have been kind and «happy» but facially can look upset or rude. He has ALWAYS been nice to me!)

Rude, rude, rude, rude. I try to support local businesses, but this mom n pop shop like Harlequins has high prices, horrible customer service and policies that are ridiculous. They do not treat business owners like myself in the party business nicely. I am boycotting them. Go to Glenda’s, Ashley’s on Milpas, or Discount Party store on De La Vina or even online!

If you want to be treated rudely, by all means, shop here. The unfriendly staff/owners go out of their way to make you feel like you are imposing on them just to shop there. The unfriendly signs in the store drive that point home. Better to shop elsewhere for knick knacks.

I’m not crazy about this place. They have rude, condescending signs posted all over the store. I understand if they are tired of opened packages and the general disorganization of retail, but don’t be rude to your customers because of it. The woman who worked here snapped at me once because I needed to get a feather boa down and she had taken down the wrong color. I just said «forget it» and left.
