I’m moving away from Santa Barbara this month, and am so sad to be losing Sarah as my hair stylist! I have fine curly hair, and I always struggle to find a stylist who knows how to work with it. I felt so lucky to find Sarah last year. She always listens attentively to what I want and knows when to suggest something new. I’ve liked every haircut she’s given me in the last year, and I’ve recommended her to all of my curly-​haired friends.

I tried this place after reading the reviews. My first visit was for just a cut. Having curly hair, Sarah did a good job. My second visit was for a color. I am a natural red head who is graying so basically the goal was to cover the gray and also add some highlights. I left the salon with blond hair! She convinced me for the moment that I wasn’t used to it and to give it a few days. I had to go back to work after that but was in tears because if the looks I got. I called to get in ASAP to repair it before a wedding the following evening. Someone else in the salon was able to at least tame down the color.
I distinctly remember Sarah telling me that she liked it. Unfortunately, I was the one who needed to be happy with the color. No apology or even a peep about a refund not to mention the waste of my time! Never going back. You get what you pay for!

Contacted Sarah directly to get a cut for my naturally curly hair, hearing great things about her. Got to the salon and was given Lisa instead, and at first I was only slightly annoyed. Once I realized that she had no idea how to cut my hair it was already too late. Despite my pleading to leave the length, she off took over 4 inches of hair! I am in tears. This is over a year’s worth of growth, gone in a moment. Even if you make an appointment with Sarah, BEWARE, if they try to give you someone else WALK AWAY!!! If I only I had done that!

Experienced stylists and great service at a reasonable price

I was searching for an alternative to the high price salon with the scent of snobishness in the air, but didn’t want to step into the world of take a number, how fast can we get you back out on the street either. I discovered P3 quite by accident– and feel like I’ve found just what i was looking for!
I called on Saturday, and got an appointment early the next week as I was hoping. I was warmly greeted by Sarah when I came in– she knew who I was, and what I was doing there– (so many salons give you the «and you are???» this was refreshing!
After hanging up my coat for me, and brewing me a cup of tea, Sarah listened carefully to what I was looking for, and asked good questions about my hair history!
She followed that with a scalp and light shoulder/​back rub– then off to the wash station, and then the magic– she gave me an excellent hair cut. Updating my look– just like I was hoping– but am just never able to express well to the stylist– she got it!
The salon is relaxed, comfortable, clean, and the atmosphere is welcoming for everyone. The pricing is also comfortable, which is so refreshing for a full service salon. I am excited to bring both of my daughters to Sarah– and have already booked my next appointmnet!

Possibly the best haircut of my life. Sarah listened to all my wishes, even when I was confused myself! I got 6 inches chopped off and the short style looked fantastic.
Sarah was so personable, friendly and a great listener. Possibly the best part of the whole thing was the price! It was SO inexpensive and I got 30% off for being a new customer, too. I’m definitely going back.

As a girl with curls, finding a good stylist can be difficult. Sarah was so welcoming and was able to squeeze me in at the last minute. She was excited to work with my curls and took the time to really learn how I like to wear my hair. With quick and precise hands, Sarah gave me an elegant, easy to manage style that works pefectly for me.
I already have my next appointment scheduled, the experience was that excellent! I will be telling my friends and co-​workers about this salon, too.
