Stopped by today for a sausage egg and cheese mcmuffin this evening. Friendly and quick service. It tasted good and the price is average for a breakfast sandwich. But i did get a stomach ache within a few hours. I’m assuming it was the sandwich I had from here.

Clean store, great customer service. Not a fast food fan but I like to eat a Big Mac once in a while.

@ the birthplace of this iconic sandwich. Today, 10÷6÷2015 I was able to order an Egg McMuffin at 12:30pm and it was freshly made, hot and tasty. Plus my picture is still on the wall! Yes, I worked here as a kid, no bashing!

This is absolutely the slowest service on planet earth. I’ve been standing here for 40 min and I still don’t have my food I only ordered 2 mcchickens. This is not even the first time, the last 2 times I’ve come in it’s been a wait of over 30 min with no line. I’m honestly never coming here again. I am warning everyone who thinks about coming here. DONOTGOTOTHIS MCDs. Seriously a bunch of imbeciles who don’t know what they are doing. I could have applied for a job, do an interview, and make my own in the time it took. Seriously get new management or something!

This is the franchise location that piloted Herb Peterson’s Egg McMuffin in the early 70s, initially without Corporate approval. There is a nice tile mural made by school kids from the neighborhood Franklin School in one of the dining rooms. However, I don’t eat at Mickey D’s or other fast food establishments due to the unhealthy additives in their food. See:

No drive thru. I imagine that, this being California, a drive thru would have disturbed some sand flea. So yah… If you are in a rush avoid this McDonald’s . The interior is ok and be food tastes like… McDonald’s so they did that right. Just needs a drive thru

The people are always friendly and the food is your typical McD. The place is very clean with a large parking lot and even a place for people to play basketball. They have good coffee, but could be hotter at times.

McDonalds is McDonald’s. 3 stars because no drive thru, but I added a star because of the awesome basketball court in the back

Probably the best McDonalds in Santa Barbara. Generally very clean, the employees are the nicest, doesn’t attract the weird crowds. In case any managers are reading this I would like to give props to Joshua, he was VERY polite, cracking jokes with us, apologized for a 5 minute wait time!

Average at it’s best. Employees want your money and then they kick you out. It’s adequate food, adequate staff and adequate hygiene makes it an adequate restaurant. I see nothing special but being rushed by employees to order and eat. Sometimes a random homeless man eats inside and smells up the place. Why have a television in a restaurant when they’re picky about people lingering in their restaurant? I’m supposed to finish my food in 30 minutes? That’s just weird and unusual for me. The atmosphere was better before and in todays’ standards it’s just bleh. Also the occasional cholo or chola will give you attitude when you order. My pro’s are the proximity of this place, the fries are usually fresh and their modernized look but bummed that they have the authority to kick you out. I’m sure that law was placed to kick out the homeless, since I’ve never been kicked out. I just saw the sign posted. I would recommend people eating here if they like McDonald’s but if they’re picky like me. They wouldn’t return with high expectations.

Stopped by to pick up lunch; great service, efficient, friendly & polite staff and the food was just right. Usually, I’m worried about the fries –please see my review of McD in Silver City, NM– but these were great! ;) All in all, my visit was smooth, hassle– free and I got fed. Thanks! :)

This is a really solid McDonald’s location. Hey, I know it’s just McDonald’s but for someone like me who absolutely loves Big Macs, McChickens, you name it… consistency is important. This location has hard working employees and the greatness starts at the top. I see active leadership by management to ensure a quality experience and these people treat their customers like family. The fries are usually quite fresh, which is amazing because you can taste the difference. No Drive-Thru but honestly there’s hardly a wait-time and there is plenty of seating in this location. CNBC has returned to the television so it’s always nice to sit by the TV and hear some of the locals chat about the market. Important **cool** note about this place: There’s a basketball court! The sign says you can ask for the ball at the counter but I wonder if that’s true…
