Awesome staff! The woman who I believe said she was the manager was so friendly and patient with not just us but all the drunk people pushing the limits around her. And the guy in the kitchen was having a blast, dancing and cooking, You could tell he loves his job. My boyfriend and I were in and out in 5 min! Costumer service was excellent!
I got the smore waffle Sammie and OMG it was amazing! Only $ 5 for a HUGE waffle sandwich. My boyfriend got the unlimited Mac n cheese I believe it was called, with hot cheeto topping added extra for a $ 1. So worth it! Wish I got a pic but he scarfed it down. He said it was one of the best things he has ever eaten! Our total was $ 15 + I tipped $ 5. which was a great price for the quality of food and the huge portion sizes! Make sure you tip the staff, they totally deserve it with all the put up with! I’ll definitely be back! So glad we decided to finally go and try it out:)

The Mac & Cheese is good. It was better before. The 3 stars is for the service. If you pay with any card payment they tell you one price but charge you another. So CHECK your statement and try to pay cash! They think everyone is drunk and won’t remember. Also the earlier you get there the better.

Hands down the best Macaroni and Cheese I’ve ever gotten out. You order from a tiny counter outside Velvet Jones you get your money’s worth. You can even get Cheetoh crumbs on top. The pasta and tots were cooked to perfection and there’s no shortage of cheesey goodness. While my beau and I were happily munching on our Mac, an employee came around and handed out free Capri Sun’s to our immense delight. It’s a drunk persons dream come true, and sober person’s if you’re a fatass like me who really can appreciate a good Mac n Cheese.

This place is great for late night after having a night. Even know many people are drunk Megan handles every person with a smile. She does a great job!

Best Mac I’ve ever had, it’s so rich and cheesy. I also like how late this place is open. It is fast and accessible. Way better than late night jack in the box.

Oh my gosh I love Mac and cheese and this place is absolutely amazing nothing can compare but the service was a little bit slow. But overall location was wonderful and the restaurant was set up nicely

Best mac n cheese in town. I’ve tried many different mac n cheeses around town for double the price and all have failed to taste nearly as delicious as this mac n cheese. They give you so much too and their fast at getting out orders.

Ok, despite wha most say, you do need to be buzzed to eat this stuff. This is not the most amazing thing I’ve ever had and I probably wouldn’t have ever ordered this if I was sober, but it’s good bar food. I ordered the Mac and cheese with the tater tot toppings and it was alright. I got the large one for $ 9-that’s definitely enough to share with two people. I love the concept and it was easy to eat. I placed it down and kept nibbling at it while sipping on my Dos Equis inside the mini lounge. I would recommend skipping that and getting a GIANT smore! That thing is huge! :p

My sister read about this place on buzzfeed so we went to check it out! The location is interesting, right on state street and connected to Velvet Jones (a club/​bar). The employees were super friendly and described the options with excitement. We got one Smores waffle (marshmallows, cookie butter, Nutella) & a Strawberry waffle (strawberry preserve, frozen whip cream, and Nutella). The waffles were great and we got to listen to a band that played while eating them. Highly recommend for a late night bite!

What a great business idea! The perfect cure for drunk munchies located right in the middle of state street. Me and my friends ordered a delicious tomato, tater tot, bacon, and bread crumb Mac and cheese. They actually put effort into these, they’re not even trying to fool all the drunks paying $ 9 for Mac n cheese. #worthit

This place is amazing. Very lowkey hole in the wall, easy to miss and only one or two tables to sit at, but Mac and cheese at 2am is heavenly. I went for the works, minus jalapeños, with tater tots and it was definitely the call. They even put bacon on only my half since my gf thinks she’s a vegetarian. What’s even better about the taste is telling your friends you just had Mac and cheese at 2 in the morning and listening to them writhe in jealousy. Probably the best drunchies you’ll ever have. Can’t wait to go again!

Really good place! The small size is actually a lot of food and is great for one person. If you get toppings the price is a little higher than the $ 5. I got tomatoes, basil, and tater tots for $ 7 for the small. Really good and great that this is opened so late! Attached to the bar next door so it might be hard to find if you aren’t walking.

Right outside of Velvet Jones. Hard to find unless you walk on foot. Tried to drive by state street to spot it but couldn’t find it. You order in front of a small counter outside of Velvet Jones and the food comes out immediately. Fast and efficient service.
Ordered a small Mac n cheese with everything including tater tots (+$ 2.00). Total was $ 7.00. Heavy for sure and enough to share amongst three girls. The jalapeño added some heat and the bacon added some crunch. Fun food!

This is the perfect place to grab a late night drunchies snack. The mac N cheese tasted fresh and hot. It was so cheesy and amazing. It costs $ 7 for a large and you can add: bacon, basil, tomato, and jalapenos. The large can definitely be split between 2 people!

Pretty dang tasty for late night drunk mac-​n-​cheese! Definitely get the tots, they are buried underneath your mountain of mac and toppings. If i’m ever awake again between 11 – 3 and happen to be downtown I’d stop by :)

If you find yourself in downtown Santa Barbara with at least $ 7 in your pocket late at night, it would really benefit you to mosy up to this window in Velvet Jones and order mac and cheese with everything. Share it with your friends! Eat it all by yourself in the street! Do what you need to do, but put this mac in your face, trust me.
There is something mind-​boggling, life-​changing and earth-​shattering about the combination of light, creamy mac and cheese, fresh tomato, fresh basil, tater tots, barbeque chicken, breadcrumb and pickled jalapeño that this place has discovered.
And if you’re feeling crazy, the Belgian waffles are shockingly good.

Well… it’s super loaded mac n’ cheese and tater tots for drunk people on the main bar strip in Santa Barbara. You can eat out on the patio of its host venue. Menu is small, but the selection is all delicious. Don’t miss out and be sure to share one order with at least two people given the portions.

Ordered «The Ultimate,» which was about $ 12, and it probably has to be one of my most favorite mac n’ cheeses ever. It was creamy mac n’ cheese goodness with tater tots, bbq chicken, jalapenos, some kind of dressing, and some herbs. Unusual combination of things, but it works! Absolutely delicious! Not a lot of seating available for this, but for what you’re getting it’s definitely worth it. A must for people living in or visiting Santa Barbara who are looking for hole in the wall comfort food.

San Diego has street tacos, LA has dirty dogs, NYC has Halal. SANTA BARBARA has… MAC & CHEESE! 3 cheese blend with bread crumbs on top. Choice of toppings: tomato, basil, bacon, jalapenos. GET ALL THE TOPPINGS and get the LARGE ($ 7) to share… or get 2… yeah one large definitely wasn’t enough for four girls. You won’t regret it.

The ultimate comfort food! It’s a bit hard to find because it’s really just a window in front of a bar.
I got the Mac-​n-​cheese and while it was good, it wasn’t really worth the $ 7 in my opinion.
The s’mores waffles amazing though! It’s a decent size for $ 5 and there are 2 choices. I got the marshmallow/​chocolate/​cookie butter one, and it was delicious (so great with milk)! I wouldn’t want to come all the way out here to satisfy some munchies, but it’s a nice treat after work if they’re open!

I’ve been a couple times after clubbing downtown. This place alwayss hits the spot!

Anyways, they seriously have the best mac&cheese filled with tater tots, jalepeno bits, bacon, etc…

Mac n cheese after a night out at the bars? Beats Jack n the Box any day. Yes the quality of mac n cheese probably wouldn’t be a 4 sober but its one of the best late night eats in the SB area. Thrown on top of tots? Genius. I suggest getting to the lines before the bars close as this place is pretty popular! We were offered $$ from other patrons to go in front of us or order for them… I am not kidding.
Don’t skip this place after a night on the town :)
