The interior is nice, with plenty of natural light. I’ve had a couple of mediocre experiences at Coffee Cat and won’t be back for a while. The espresso isn’t the best, a little on the bitter side, and the iced tea is a little diluted. They advertise crepes but only serve them during a few limited hours.
Crucially, they’ve shortened their closing hour to 4 PM. This is too early for those of us who like getting work done in coffee shops. Also, this isn’t something that’s under the control of the owners, but one time, it was too noisy inside to get much work done anyway.

Easily one of my favorite coffee shops in Santa Barbara. I always come here when I need to get some serious studying done or just to read a book. Lattes are great and if you sit by the window you can see the courthouse

Came in for a much needed latte. Girl making our coffee was very nice, good with answering questions about sugar free items. For the BF, not me. The place was a bit snoozy looking… Still, l don’t doubt it’s a peaceful environment to chill, work or study. They’ve a microwave n toaster station to the right of the creamer station.
I liked my latte, tasted perfect; my BF encountered coffee grounds at the bottom of his coffee and spat it out. Ah well.

coffee shop with lots of tables and tons of people cranking out work, so you gotta be lucky to snag a seat! it’s across the street from the Courthouse so feel free to grab a drink and then walk up the courthouse stairs to enjoy the 360 view of Santa Barbara!
—mocha cool cat: ice blended mocha, not executed very well, it was lacking flavor and there were still large chunks of ice at the bottom
—caramel cool cat: if you like things sweeter this would be the option for you
NOTE: Free wifi. there’s a parking structure nearby

It was the first time I came here and their whole seating area was interesting. I liked that they had cool art hanging on their wall. I ordered two orders of crepes to go –the Nutella and banana & strawberry. I was surprised they didn’t give me a bag to carry them. Anyway, the Nutella and banana one was good but the crêpe itself was kinda chewy and wasn’t warm sorta like an old tortilla. And then when my friend started eating her crepes she noticed the strawberries didn’t look fresh at all. Ill have to go back and try their drinks instead next time.

Love this café so much the only downside (which isn’t their fault) is that you have to pay for parking. Wish this wasn’t the case-​definitely stops me from going there sometimes :(

This is a nice internet– style café with a lot of seating and electrical outlets, perfect for studying! The service is very friendly and relatively fast in bringing out orders!
In terms of the food and drinks, I don’t remember the name of my drink, but I got one of the cool cats. It is a smoothie/​icy coffee drink with peanut butter! Very delicious but I would love to have more peanut butter taste as I am a huge PB fan. I also got a savory crêpe, and that was DELICIOUS. It comes with a small side salad. The crêpe consisted of capers, pesto, cheese, and chicken. I definitely recommend this one and the other savory crepes.
The only thing that I was hoping to see in this café was more options for food. They do have sweet and savory crepes but when I arrived all the pre packaged sandwiches and salads were taken. Although this is great for their business, it is pre packaged in a small fridge so there are not a lot of options or hot sandwiches.

I’ve only been here once so I’ll update the stars accordingly upon my second visit.
What a charming place. Coffee Cat. Fun to say.
The entrance looks like it’s modeled after the courthouse across the street, definitely much more fun inside.
Walking in is kind of awkward because there’s two paths and no clear indication of where to order, but lots and lots of space. Seems like it would be a good place to settle down for the day.
Affordable and yummy coffee (got the Americano) and with a bagel it came out to about $ 3.50.
I’m delighted, will back for more.

Just found this gem. A great place to sip on coffee and do your work on your laptop or enjoy a good book. And it’s on the beautiful Anapamu street.

Sunday’s at five o clock I would stay away. Had two difficult baristas. The first ignored me and yelled at the customer who had ordered before me. The second made a very poor latte and was almost equally apathetic. Stick with Starbucks.

One of my favorite places to get coffee and do homework in Santa Barbara. There’s a parking garage that gives you free parking for the first 75 minutes right next to the store which is great.
I’m a big fan of their brew — I typically put in some milk in my coffee but I don’t have to with their iced coffees, it’s that good! My favorite it the vanilla because it’s sweet but not too sweet, and definitely gives you your caffeine fix.
Staff is very friendly and their seats are very comfortable. I also like their vibrant interior colors, puts you in a better mood when doing school work!

I love the ginger dragon tea. Make it a fire breathing dragon to help kill any cold. Parking structure is next door and it’s free if you stay less than 75 minutes.

I don’t normally work in coffee shops or go to coffee shops for that matter, as I do not drink coffee. But I need a change of environment, and I wanted a place that would not be overcrowded as most coffee shops on State Street are, so I poked my head into this place, and found it to be just right. It’s only one street over from State, but feels pretty removed. It’s nice and open and spacious, so you won’t get that Starbucks crammed together feel that is so totally counterproductive (for me, at least).
The staff is super friendly!
I ordered a hot chocolate and a brownie, and while it was a little pricier than I would have liked, both were delicious. Especially the brownie. I think I still have dreams about it. They have a giant menu of crepes, which I have to try, so I’ll for sure be heading back there.
Also, they have free wifi! This is usually a given at most coffee shops, but I went somewhere the other day that did not have any wifi at all, so I couldn’t work.
