I loove Blenders! I can call this my second home because of how often I go to get their acai bowls or smoothies. Their prices have raised so I can’t buy them as often since I am a broke college student but still love their smoothies.

I’ve been coming to blenders for over 15 years and I’ve never had an experience like this before… This time of year is my favorite time for a blenders; the pumpkin pie is out! I walked into this blenders looking for the special sign(normally it’s posted by the pick-up area or in the window, or as you walk in) and it was no where to be found. I asked the cashier, Jasmine, what the seasonal drink was. She looked at me with a grumpy face and mumbled something I couldn’t hear, so I ignored it and just ordered my go-to: Mocha with bananas and total blend. She was full of eye rolls and sighs… Yeesh! Normally the staff is very pleasant even when they’re incredibly busy. Jasmine, the mocha you made was absolute perfection! However, your customer service skills need some improvement. I understand it’s the day before thanksgiving and you have to work, boo hoo so do I. Please leave the negative energy at home. As a cashier, you are the face of the business. Happy holidays!

I don’t know why people rave about blenders. It tastes like any other crappy corner smoothie joint you find in a city with a small population where the majority of people are missing teeth and overalls are a fashion statement. I ordered something off the menu and the people behind the counter barely knew how to make it. Tasted like peach juice blended with ice and vanilla yogurt. So boring. Jamba Juice knocks this place out of the park. Maybe this is one of those places where you have to «know what to order» to get something good. But I am a local, and every time I give blenders a try– it fails miserably. I don’t recommend it.

Don’t get me wrong, I like Blender’s, but so far I am not having a good experience at this location. My smoothie on 6÷24÷15 was chock full of chunks of ice. Certainly not an enjoyable experience. I hope the smoothies here can always be properly blended, Blender’s. Edit: I just got down to the bottom of my cup and there’s a half-inch-wide chunk of ice!

My Bf raves about the chocolate peanut butter blend from Blenders… butttttttt apparently he has no real standards when it comes to smoothie. JK, I’ve yet to try the chocolate peanut butter. Anyway, I had the blue banana(banana n blueberries) and the strawberry piña(something something n coconut) and I must say… Both are not very good. Too sweet, detected no real fresh essence. The blue banana, how could you mess that up?! Anyway, so I left them all for my BF to down… He doesn’t care. The three stars is because the kids working there are very nice n quick with making the drinks.

this is not a reflection of this paticular blenders as they seem to be clean and the staff is nice. However I am very disapointed in the blenders quality over the last couple years. It seems like it’s more frozen yogurt than fruit. I even get a strange itchy sensation in my throat now after every blenders I order. It’s very sweet and taste good, but I don’t think it’s as healthy as blenders once was. At least at jamba or robeks you can get pure fruit smoothies. But this location is good if you like blenders. I’ll just be making my own with organics these days.

Really good. Very much the same as Jamba Juice with the pricing and general feel however for some reason I like this place slightly more. Wish we had one where I am in eastern LA County. Staff was friendly and polite, will definitely go to, if not this location, to another location whenever I am next in SBC.

Lots of great choices here for smoothies. My favorite is the strawberry coconut. I like the texture and pieces I get to chew on while sipping it. This is definitely for coconut lovers!

This place is more of a 3.5 for me but I enjoyed my experience there enough to round up :) I had this for the first time when I was in SB the other week. I really liked that it was open early because it is just what my body needed after a night of drinking. I would definitely choose this over Jamba Juice any day. The prices are pretty cheap for the amount you get and there’s a good selection of extras you can add to your drink if you would like. I had the Tropical Guava, which seemed like a safe option. Would def come back if I’m in the area again!

I love Blenders they have the best smoothies(not that there are many to pick from in SB), but as many others I have also tried Jamba Juice. I used to live in LA for a while during school, and I missed blenders very much. My favorite has to be the strawberry, it just never goes wrong. One time I did have a blenders on the mesa, that it wasn’t as good as the one on State st? Interesting, the blendito must have been trained somewhere else. Get some!

Better than Jamba. Too bad they don’t have any locations in the OC area. I LOVELOVELOVE sour drinks. My grandma once told me, lazy people like sour drinks. Yup, that’s me! My favorite and(only drink i’ve tried) was the Tropical Fuzz. This had the blend of Guava, mango & orange juice, pineapple sherbet, orange sherbet, peaches, and strawberries. Ask for them to add lemon juice SODELISH& oh so REFRESHING. If you do not ask for a smaller size it comes in the default large size. Oh, they also have free super supplements.

My girlfriend and I stopped in to take our first shots of grass. We were frightened at first because everyone around us was telling us that it wasn’t going to be pleasant and that there is a gnarly aftertaste. The guys that worked there made sure we enjoyed our first experience with grass as they gave us a free chaser to wash it down with. Totally unexpected. Really nice dudes. The shots were actually surprisingly sweet and with the chaser we didn’t have any awful unpleasant aftertaste. An all around awesome experience.

Blenders is one of my favorite things about going back to visit family in Santa Barbara. They have a pretty big menu, but I’ve probably only tried about five of the smoothies because the tropical pineapple is so good it’s hard to try anything new. Every time I go to Jamba Juice I’m reminded that it’s not Blenders. I really wish they would open a store in the Bay Area. I would definitely drive an hour just for Blenders.

The piña colada smoothie is to die for! Additionally, the peanut butter with soy milk and added chocolate is amazing. This place is like Jamba Juice, but better!

Blenders is one of those places I have grown up on. Having been in LA for years I have come end up in the Jamba’s. But, for those in SB they know Blenders is the man. From downtown to IV they have always been helpful and energetic, not robot like the large chain shops and open to playing with what you want without a gasp of «wtf» dude”. … and it is easier to double fist a beer. very true SF…

The smoothies taste healthier than Jamba Juice, but more bland. I had the red banana, which had banana and strawberries. It was pretty good. $ 4.50 per smoothie. The peanut butter one is not bad either, but only if you really like peanut butter. One sip was enough for me. Would recommend over Jamba Juice.

Located in 5 Points Mall next to Rossi’s(Ross)… I preferred hitting this one up over the others since it was less of a trek(on foot that is). Just park and your there… I heart the one in IV but it’s not easy holding a smoothie while navigating your beach cruiser in IV, although so doable(beer cans are easier, I could doublefist those and ride fine). Actually prefer Blenders over Jamba…

I lived in SB for 11 years and I miss this place the most. I haven’t foud any smoothie places that serve Smoothies this good. When I stop in SB, I make a point to stop at a Blenders. I usually go for the Red Orange. I can’t stand the Jamba Juice, I swear they add sugar or something to their smoothies — these just taste right.
