My boyfriend and I have tried Yoshi’s food a couple of times and we love it! The chicken was really juicy and flavorful but still nice and crispy on the outside and the fries are simply amazing! The banana ice cream dessert is also to die for, it’s not too sweet and it has a really nice combination of flavors with the strawberry syrup on top, YUM! I recommend anyone who’s in need of some nice comfort food to try Yoshi’s food, you will not be disappointed.

I got the Kimchi Quesadilla it was excellent. The flavors and the grilled tortilla really work. My friend had the Pumpkin Corn Quesadilla, it was awesome, perfect on a rainy night. I will get that next time. The food is fast and really good. If you like poutine, they have Kimchi Pork and Miso Chicken over french fries. Both of those are next on my list.

The Best Food Truck I have ever tried!!! I’ve worked in LA area for many years & have tried a great number of food trucks that were all just OK or not good at all. Yoshi’s Toasties is truly delicious! I’ve tried his quesadilla’s, miso chicken bowl, chicken karaage(fried chicken pieces),&his fries. I highly recommend trying the food here!!! ;)

Love their Karaage Bowl! It’s very tasty!!! The Karaage is perfectly fried, tender and Juicy. The lettuce is fresh and crisp. Teri-mayo sauce drizzled on karaage goes best with karaage and rice. A must try!!!

I’d definitely get food from this truck again. The Spicy Kimchi Pork Burrito was dialed and not terribly spicy. Green chili sauce inside was a nice touch too.

Hooray to Food Truck Fridays! I order the tonkatsu rice and miso chicken loaded fries. Both tasted great. The tonkatsu was slightly soggy at the bottom though

Simple menu, fast & friendly service. Excellent Japanese/Korean-inspired items as well as more traditional entrees. Everything you want out of a food truck.

i live in the woodbury communities in irvine & they have foodtrucks every wed which is awesome… however, most of the foodtrucks have been subpar — — except yoshis toasties! this is the only foodtruck ive ever reviewed so far because i absolutely LOVE the food here. the owners are super friendly & items are fairly priced too so u can have it all. my faves are — - the kimchi pork cheese quesadilla is the best! i dont know where this has been all my life but i love this fusion. the miso chicken fries are a must! its really tasty w/all the flavors combined. it just works. the tonkatsu rice bowl is delish too! the tonkatsu is actually meaty & not just breading like most places. if u get a chance to try their food, get some. if u dont… ur missing out. for real tho!

The first time we tried this truck was a couple weeks ago at a different Woodbury complex. Yoshi’s Toasties Came to Woodbury Court tonight and the Wifey and I had to have it again! Flavors are great and I don’t remember an item priced over $ 9.00 The kimchi pork quesadilla is my favorite item. $ 8.00 for four good slices makes it a cheap bite for two people. They don’t skimp on the quality too! We’ve gotten the miso chicken fries(about $ 5-$ 6) twice and will get them every time haha. They serve a good amount of fries with several chunks of chicken, teriyaki sauce drizzled over. The food has come out fast, but we have never had to deal with a line yet. Based on other reviews, crepes looks to be the cause of any delays. Waiting to see what new items come from this truck!

This is the second time they have come to my apartment complex. We tried new things both times — all good. The pork tonkatsu bowl is amazing — everything tastes fresh. Chicken teriyaki quesadilla had a lot of flavor and was really good.

I was visiting my friend in this complex, then became hungry. I saw the food truck on the way to my friend house, so i stopped by. There was no line yet around 5:15 pm, so i talked to the owner of toasties. I asked whats the difference between his food truck among others. he explained that every single stuff is home-made by him, even the green hot sauce. I was little unsure of his food truck, since this was his first time to open in a complex that has more people to serve. i ordered a taco crepes with spicy pork(comes with green sauce), because there was no line, no wait, he made it in 2 mins. The taste was great, the spiciness was ++ which i liked it a lot. After that i visited my friend and talked about it, and he went to get a taco crepes, britto(BBQ), and french fry. He told me there were around 5 people ahead of him that he ordered. French fry came in like 3 mins, and he had to wait around 20 – 25 minutes to get his crepes and britto. He asked why it took so long, and owner replied that there were people ordered 10 crepes ahead of him, that each crepes took 2 mins to complete. He said, so sorry, and next time, it will take less time. My friend was happy about crepes, britto and french fry regardless of wait. Pro: home-made Japanese and mexican fusion foods. Green sauce was very hot and very tasty. Crepes are highly recommended! Con: might need to wait a little(could be fixed any time by allocating some jobs to casher.) its hard to find this food truck, doesnt come often.
