What a fun even! We got all decked out for the movies!!! This was my first time having wine with popcorn at a movie theater and it was pretty amazing. I’ve never been to this theater before and didn’t know it existed until this event. Its kind of old, small and run down but whats really interesting is that they show really good old movies which is incredible. For the winter formal the place was decorated with balloons and shiny wall paper it looked really nice, there was even a camera on a tripod set up to capture the experience. Once we were seated they were showing really old 70’s commercials on the big screen so that was really cool. The show started with an intro form the Cinemattack guys and two short clips of Johnny Depp which were hilarious. Then Johnny Depp came out for a Q & A with the guys and the audience. The hairstyle contest was next, I was pretty surprised a lot of people had crazy fun hairstyles. Then the movie started and it was perfect. What was really fun was when the scene of Edward cutting a snow angel and making it snow came on there was this huge blowup angel that popped out in the front corner and tons of bubbles started appearing it made the scene almost 3D! The whole night was lots of fun, I really love Edward Scissorhands and I thank Cinemattack for putting it up on the big screen!

This was my first CinemATTACK event, and I have to say… I want to go to every CinemATTACK ever for the rest of my life. Check in was super simple. The lobby area was decked out to the nines with cellophane ands tats and decorations. I really felt like I was at a winter formal. They even had a professional photographer taking prom style pictures! Super cute and fun. The place was packed, but I’d say that’s a good thing. Pretty much everyone was dressed in formal attire and looking might fine. The crazy hair contest was cool, but what really got me was all the vintage 70’s commercials and clips that were playing as previews! So on theme and really entertaining. They even threw in some original Tim Burton shorts. A+. We all know Edward Scissorhands is an excellent movie, but the crazy cool people at CinemATTACK had set up this angel statue behind a curtain and when Edward is sculpting the ice into and angel and the snow is falling, they dropped the curtain and had a bubble machine blow bubbles over the audience! It was so freaking magical. Definitely my favorite part of the whole night. Only drawbacks: free parking was super limited, very minor technical difficulties, and the refreshment bar was cash only, which I didn’t know head of time. :( But still, 10⁄10 would do again!
