Had the tostilocos and the frutarindo both were perfect! Will come here more often. Also ate a tostada de ceviche de camaron bomb!

Can’t complain… liked the food and drinks. I had their Torta Ahogada with a Jugo de Piña and it was delicious! Placed looked really clean and what I also liked is that their music wasn’t ridiculously loud, was able to have a conversation with my friends!

So this place was open pretty late on a Friday night, which was good because I was searching for a place to eat after a night in downtown Santa Ana. I ended up getting 3 of the various tacos, and they were decent, nothing too special about them as they did not stand out as well as the tacos from the nearby food trucks(the food truck I liked was probably closed by the time I went here, which was around midnight or so), but it did serve a quick decent taco fix. The tacos were about $ 1 – 2 each, which is reasonable considering the place isn’t a taco truck, and you order before you sit down and eat. They also have a variety of condiments you can have with your tacos.

This is my favorite Mexican joint! their food is so delicious! They have so many dishes! Mexican food and seafood served here. OMG and their desserts/snacks are to die for they prepare a snack called Tostilocos which includes a bag of chips with peanuts, chamoy, Valentina hot sauce, cucumber, cueritos, jicama, and a couple other things. Fruits snacks are also available with the above toppings. Or just plain like a mango on a stick with chile. When I went this past Sunday I ordered a Pozole de puerco(pork) plate and it was so good. It came with a side of 2 tostadas. It gets really packed a bigger space would be nicer. But it’s okay. Outside area. It’s in the Downtown area of Santa Ana. A lot of sight seeing: Downtown Plaza, Historic Sites(Old Courthouse), Restaurants, Shopping Centers. Close to freeway. The employees seem nice. But on this day I asked for an extra bowl and the girl rolled her eyes at me and did so as if she was bothered but everyone else was cool. Big Parkin structure so parking isn’t a problem. And there is parking in front of the restaurant. And I give it a 5 star rating because the food is BOMBDOTCOM

Bad customer service. The cashier/waitress was very rude. Didn’t feel welcomed at all. Would give no stars but obviously not possible.

The tortas de pastor are bomb! They aren’t stinky with the avocado and it comes with panela cheese! The burritos are a good portion and will fill you up.

If I can put a negative star I would. As a sit down restaurant I’d expect it to be more organized. First off the prices on the board are incorrect drink say they are $ 2.09 for large an on my receipt they are 2.99 plus tax. Second as a sit down id expect«chips and salsa» while you wait 20 minutes for your food! When I asked the unprofessional waitress if they had chips she replied«you have to buy them if you want them» this place is expensive and poorly portioned in size! I WILNOTBRCOMINGHEREEVERAGAIN!

I grew up with both my grandmothers mexican home cooking in the Coachella valley as well as really good restaurants like El Gallito or El Rincon Nortenio, and in my honest opinion there is NO mexican food in Orange County. Except one little taco shop off of 4th and bush in Santa Ana. Wow do they have really good carne asada and the fish tacos or bomb bomb bomb !!! Fresh rolled corn tortilla and everything is always fresh. After your meal you can take a walk to see all the shops and some real mexican culture. I recommend to all…

Excellent food. Very reasonable prices. Counter people were nice. Service was pretty fast. You can tell they use quality meat, not frozen, processed junk. The restaurant and the restrooms were clean. I will definitely go back. Lots of Mexican-Americans eating there-a good sign. THANKS folks!
