This place is the to go. They have excellent products. The staff here is incredibly friendly and informative. I’m very impressed with the service. I’ve never use incense before and Evan, the awesome sales associate walked step by step on how to use it! Very impressed with the HUGE selection of stones. I like this place over Crystal Cave. Will be back!

Did not exude an inviting or positive atmosphere. Felt very froo froo and not spiritual at all. I got a few stones but wasn’t pleased with the overall experience

This can be a good place to shop at, but I don’t recommend going to any of the rituals. It has a wannabe Harry Potter vibe. Some of the insecure witches will show their insecurity by being rude. The whole coven or what have you has a very weird unwelcoming creepy vibe even though these things are public, haha !

A good place to purchase the spiritual equipment. I HIGHLY recommend to people visit The Dragon and the Rose shop in Santa Ana, California.
Please note, I wasn’t yelling aggressively for typing «highly» in caps. LOL… I typed it becuase I was satisfy with what I purchased from this store and I am going to come back for more. Oh, and I saw the sign posted up on the highest wall, Karma to the Thieves… and I agree…

While I did end up buying some items here, my overall feeling was that I needed to cleanse my purchases before use. If you look around and take inventory on the inventory, you’ll notice things skew a bit to the dark. That could be your thing and if it is, you’ll find some interesting things here. Though I do have to say I’m not sure if it is for shock value or practical use. Nonetheless, I found what I was looking for which made my trip worth the effort.

Great metaphysical shop! The Dragon and the Rose really has a wide variety of metaphysical selections. Whatever your path focus is they have what you need. One of the things I think really stands out to me about this store is that is different from other metaphysical shop’s inventory is their selection of stones. From large stones to small they really have a great variety. They also carry plenty of oils and herbs. In addition if there is something that they may not carry of have in stock, they offer to order it for you.
Rituals are very fun to attend and healing. The Dragon and the Rose also has a selection of year and a day classes to take. It’s a great spot to frequent and the staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

The dragon and the rose is an eclectic pagan shop offering a large collection gems and stones, herbs and spices as well as books on many subjects. The walls are filled with unique art work from locals as well as sculptures, clothes, and jewelry. A great shop to check out if your in the area or if your not! A must see!

Lately I’ve become more intrigued in learning about Wicca. I am always skeptical to go to shops like this out of fear of looking confused. Like others mentioned this shop is a little hidden so don’t give up if you can’t see any sign for it. I never got that vibe here. We were automatically greeted by two cats in the front room. I was able to confess my lack of knowledge without embarrassment and the woman working even helped me find a book to study up. I look forward to coming back here once I learn more and also to get some insight from the staff.

This shop is a little hidden gem literally lol its at the very back end of the building but it is worth the adventure! Karen is soo nice and sweet and the shop is beautiful and has the best selection of stones and crystals I have seen! Plentiful amount of herbs and oils always on hand. Very beautiful shop ill definitely be coming back!

Addie opened the shop for us when it was closed. Amazing quality of crystals, and superb customer service. They offer lay away options as well. First time coming here, and more reasons to come. Fairly priced, great customer service, great quality. Worth the half hour drive.

I came to this shop today with my grandmother looking specifically for crystals and was amazed by the selection they had, for such a small shop they have tons of things to suite your needs, not to mention the cats that greet you upon entering are so awesome and actually make you feel welcomed (I’m a huge cat person). Anyways, if I wasn’t short on time I’m sure I would of picked more items up. I fell in love with a fluorite crystal that was calling my name and my grandmother left with some Indian bells she loved. Overall this place was awesome and I recommend stopping by if you’re in the O. C it i definitely worth checking out! P. S location is a bit tricky to find, they are located all the way in the back in suite U.

Love this spot! The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I literally drove around the building for a good 15 mins before I found this lovely location.
Firstly, any location I am greeted by a pet, I am an instant approver of. Shop cat quickly made friends with me and followed me around the shop. The shop is very small but has so much for the size. There is such a beautiful selection of stones and crystals, which was what I came there for. There are robes, clothes, oils, smudging kits, etc. it’s also a consignment store so there’s lots of art, jewelry and interesting things to look at.
Wanting to look at the crystals does prove hard tho if there is any other person in the store. I waited about 20 minutes for someone who was going thru almost every stone to find the right ones she wanted (which obviously is okay, and not the shops fault at all– they just have so many quality stones you gotta really pin point the one that’s right for you!)
There were a few children running around, but they were sweet and seemed like they were doing chores and reading.
Overall there was a really quaint vibe, and being from Oregon I felt right at home in this shop. Great job guys, I’ve been waiting all weekend to be able to take my boyfriend for a crystal skull and some labradorite!

This is my favorite metaphysical shop in Orange county! Everyone is so nice and welcoming and willing to answer any of your questions. This is where I go to pick up oils and intense and everything else for my rituals.

I love this store. I come in a lot with a friend of mine. I just discovered it this year, but they always have the things I’m looking for. I’m very particular about where I buy my wares, and have not been disappointed. :)

Love this place! It’s a lit piece of heaven. As soon as you walk in you just want to look and touch everything. They have a great selection of crystals, books, oils, sage and things you didn’t even know you needed in your life! It’s literally a magical place, plus the sweet cats there are always purring and following you around.

Just moved to OC and went here looking for incense. I am definitely a mystic and lover of all things alternative but mostly an appreciator in a voyeuristic
way. I found The Dragon and the Rose on Unilocal naturally and it was close to my place so decided to check it out after reading some great reviews.
The shop is in a very random, odd location in a storage/​commercial area, but not to fear, it is just off edinger, and maybe a couple hundred feet into the parking lot after turning in… just put it into google or maps and it will get you there, not to worry. Just look for the store front. Easy to find and ample parking.
Once I entered, I was immediately greeted warmly and with open arms and offered help in finding anything I was in search for. So nice. I was then again helped while inside the main shop by another woman sorting herbs and such. I told her I had just move to OC from San Diego and was stumped as to where I could just pop in and buy incense in Orange County, the land of milk toast sterility (good lord I am dying for some culture and grit!)… most of my things are in storage still in San Diego so I didn’t know what I was looking for, only that I needed good incense. She offered to help me find the right one for me as well as ones for any need I might have like cleansig, etc. I told her that I had just moved home and was now living in my older brothers room and she promptly recommended that I burn white sage in the space and keep a stock of frankincense and myrrh to burn on the regular. I am usually a sager’r of my apartments, but it had slipped my mind moving back home to the parentals place, even if temporary. So helpful and nice, I was so happy to have such help, even if I was just there for purely scented purposes.
I ended up exploring the store and fell in love with the incredible variety of crystals, pendants, charms, etc. I ended up with five packets of incense and two burners… one flat wooden traditional kind and a tiny urn-​like pot for cones.
I will definitely be back when I run out! If not earlier… they were very kind and invited me to their drumming circles and various events the store often has. I am definitely thinking about checking one out sometime soon.

This place is absolutely wonderful! Such a hidden gem I must say, it is extremely difficult to find any pagan or Wiccan stores in OC. Especially respectable ones! Anyway, love this place and will definitely be a frequent shopper here. Hope by adding more pictures everyone will check this place out! Tell them Sydney sent ya! ;)

This is such a great little place. The people are very friendly and helpful. You can find up to anything from your oils, to sage, and herbs. Definitely going back :)

Great store, wide and reasonably priced selection. Great for crystals, herbs, incense, tools and odd books. Some clothing and «faire» style items. Lots of handcrafted stuff, great atmosphere. It is definitely my number one go to store for magical items.

Based on the customer service: RUDE! I called and asked a few questions, there was a misunderstanding on both ends so we both pretty much repeated what we said, I ended up asking if they offered Psychic readings? No answer. Then I asked what services they offered, psychic or tarot? And she said «uhh no, there’s no such thing as a psychic tarot reading *chuckle* they’re diff. Either psychic or tarot, we only offer tarot card readings, you know the ones with the cards *chuckle*.»
I had been feeling pretty down lately and I wanted to help out a lil hole in the wall shop and ended up feeling worse and she made me feel fkn stupid. I know what I was asking. This wasn’t going to be my first time reaching out for help with these type of services.
Please put another lady to answer the phone/​work for you before someone takes it even more personal. My call wasn’t a cry for desperate help, but some else’s might be and if you make them feel worse and they’re depressed. Well, their outcome might not be good.
People call/​come in for fun and others actually believe in you, but if you’re just gonna laugh at them please shut your place down before you hurt somebody.
