I have been studying Pakua at the Orange studio for about 3 years but know the Master’s at Santa Ana. They are great! Master Bishop and the other school Masters are really friendly and take the time to teach you what You need to learn. Pakua offers a very different approach to martial arts training. Unlike other Martial Arts schools, Pakua really focuses on the whole person. We learn how to punch, kick, block, fall, grapple etc., but we also learn how to understand ourselves and others. We do light sparring but we always respect our pratice partners. Also, for kids, there are no matches or competitions with others and with other schools. Pakua is more about impriving yourself not about competing with other people. Moms and Dad’s, why not have fun and get in better shape why you learn cool self defense moves? Pakua really is an awesome skill. Oh — Pakua is not all about Martial Arts either — at most of the studios you can take classes in Yoga, Kick Boxing, Swords, Reflexology and more. They are all about ‘Pakua Knowledge”. So whether you are young — old — a girl, boy, Mom, Dad or someone who really wants to perfect their martial arts training and learn techniques and styles simliar to Jet Li or other Kung Fu masters, this is the place for you. I love Pakua, you will too. Two Hoots from this Urban Unilocaler Hoo Hoo! P. S. for those of you in the North Orange County area, visit the Pakua Orange Studio. Master Clawson is great. He does not read minds, but you will think he does. Each of his classes seem to focus just on You. It’s amazing!
