This is my second time eating here in one week. I absolutely love love the chicken. Loved it so much I ordered it to go for the fight tonight. The chicken was still hot, juicy and crispy when I got home. Chicken– has enough spice and flavor. Comes with some sauce goodness. Cornbread– moist! Comes with honey butter. Best cornbread I’ve ever tasted. I should have ordered more to go. If you order a combo it also comes with potato salad, coleslaw and the cornbread. I’ve eaten at Playground. Everything I have eaten at there establishment has been amazing. Overall, the people working there have been so friendly and accommodating. They truly love there job and shows in the food.

Jason Quinn, the chef/owner of the Playground, branched out with the Lunchbox and moved it across the street. Its 3 places, consisting of Noodle Tramp, PFC, and Wagyu Chuck. — The Noodle Tramp is the Asian Noodle restaurant, focusing on Northern Thai cuisine. — PFC stands for Playground Fried Chicken. Its not your ordinary fried chicken, and its not for everyone. Nice and crispy, flavored with Southwestern spices and finished with a special lime/agave drizzle! — Wagyu Chuck, keeps it simple. Burgers are ground in house daily using 100% Imperial Wagyu chuck The restaurants are interchangeable, and you can order all the menus from any of the locations. My coworkers came here on a Friday and each of us tried food from each branch of the Lunchbox. From Noodle Tramp we had the Egg Noodle and Bravo Wings. The noodles had a kick to it, so if you’re not a fan of spicy, try something else. The wings, however, were more sweet than spicy. The thai chili sauce made it messy and the added peanuts on top made it crunchy… almost like a Pad Thai noodle topping. From PFC we had the chicken combo. Crunch on the outside with lots of flavor. Tangy and messy as the agave drizzle made the experience sticky. A nice balance of ying and yang. The combo came with cornbread made at the Dough Exchange. Very moist and fluffy, and went well with the house made honey butter. The cole slaw and potato salad were just ok. Its not mom’s and the potato salad had a kick to it. It came with the meal, which is nice. The Wagyu burger was fresh and juicy. The ingredients are fresh, and there’s not a lot you can complain about a top grade burger. Even the kids burger is plentiful, with just 1 patty and the fixings. This place is as good as it gets. having the comfort food from the Playground, but being able to enjoy it during the lunch hour.
