*** Good looks alone doesn’t cut it… (Santa Ana) ***
This is a nicely new or newly renovated KFC in Santa Ana. The place looks really nice on the inside and outside.
Here’s what liked…
* The facility looks nice and newly renovated.
Here’s what I didn’t like…
* There are no deals!!! I love deals and this franchise is lacking in the deals :-(where’s the 6 for $ 6 or 10 for $ 10, etc. the deals makes me happy. No deal makes me want to go somewhere else!
* the chairs are not straightened and makes the place look disorganized. One of the booth seats look like it fell apart with a sign «do not sit».
* You just CAN’T take the «GHETTO» out of some people. It’s like a disease of the mind. This one guy walks by and says some stupid shit and I had no idea why. What the heck??? People like that give Santa Ana a bad name…
* (updated 2÷8÷16) SOUR COLESLAW!!! — OK, This one dropped this facility to a 1 star. I came home and my kid asked me when did I buy the KFC? I said just before I came home. I asked why? She said the coleslaw tasted sour so she had to throw it out.
Food = the chicken was good, but I found out later the coleslaw was sour :-(No Bueno…
Seating area = clean, but the area should get straightened out as customers leave.
Service = attentive and friendly
Restroom = needs a little more cleaning. I should give the staff a break on this one as the clientele in the area don’t exactly look like they can pee or poo accurately :-) ha ha ha…

I love me some chicken! I recommend this spot its usually less full than other places. Once you walk in their place they greet u really nice with a big smile, they helped me try some new things on how people usually eat thier food and i never thought that chicken with jam would be a good combination! Thanks for letting me know… but what i enjoy the most here are thier chicken pot pies… they come out freshly baked and ready to eat (i est mine really hot) this is a good location to go to try it out!

The restroom is so bad，food and tables are not clean. The cash people don’t know how to order their food, they even don’t repeat the order after we finished. I won’t go there again!

If you are ordering wings, better have 10mins on your stomach. 8 out of 10time I had to wait for it. Well its a good thing in one way that it’s freshly made but bad when I am really hungry. I always use the drive through.

This place has such a dirt bathroom! it’s not busy at all and the can’t make time to clean the bathroom up? lazy workers you have.

I live by here and never come since I hate KFC but came here recently for their new popcorn chicken and the customer service was amazing! It was a young guy and the food was super good too the chicken wasnt weird. Going back for sure :)

Such rude employees. Like seriously. Incompetent and awful. Bunch of dirty teenagers with bad attitudes.

Dirty dirty dirty place … Horrible I can’t believe I was handed a platter with greasy left over food it appeared anyways.
Floor and chairs not clean won’t be coming back to this location!

I love this KFC!!! Karina is the best ! Very quick to get my order everytime! I usually never give tips at a fast food restaurant but she is awesome!!!

My second chicken place next to Popeye’s. Always save $$ here using coupons. Can’t beat that.

Came her with my mom for lunch and I was so surprised how crappy the restaurant is maintained. 1. Both restrooms are out of order. 2. The fountain drink machine is out of order, so they are giving can sodas for 1.08 each. 3. They don’t even have the ac on and it’s a very hot day today. We both ordered chicken pot pies and they were pretty good. The service and maintenance of this KFC is horrible!!! Avoid and go somewhere else.

I’ve always received great customer service at this location and they always get my order right. The last two times we’ve dined In this girl Sandra has helped us. She’s always really nice and helpful!

KFC is one of the only few fast food chains I go to. I normally get just the 20 piece hot wings because I like eating the skin… yes not very healthy… but I like it.
I like this location better than the others because the employees are not stingy on giving condiments. Other locations would give you like 2 – 4 dipping sauces. However, when I asked for honey mustard, the employee gave me 6 dipping sauces and plenty of ketchup.

If you go through the drive-​thru be prepared to wait, they’ve got an average wait time of 10 minutes depending on the meal. No joke

I got the 3 piece meal, 3 pieces of meat, biscuit, 2 sides.
They offer dark or white meat, but didn’t ask me which one I wanted.
Got the chicken pot pie.
Chicken looked old, not really crispy, and dry.
My side of potato wedges were thin and soggy.
Mashed potatoes are as they should be.
I would only come back for the chicken pot pie, I really enjoy it here.
Either than that I would go to Popeyes instead.

Let’s just say they forgot to include my biscuit and the soda tasted watered down or something.

Last minute drive thru idea. Pulled up and gave my order. She got every part of my order wrong. Wanted a #15 and she gave me a 16. Wanted a Dr P and instead I got a Pepsi. Charged me a large Cole slaw but she forgot and gave me a small after I reminded her so then I had to show her the receipt.
Listen people, basic listening skills are a minimum requirement. What’s KFCs minimum IQ to get a job there? She was really nice about it but it would have taken me less time to drive to another location.

I ordered the Cheesy Bacon Bowl for $ 3.99.
The Mashed Potatoes were great, the Gravy was superb, the Popcorn Chicken was crunchy, the Corn was excellent, the Bacon was so very good and the Cheese topped it all off.

Have not had fried chicken for years but I was hungry, had a craving for it, and saw this KFC.
Seems like a rather new KFC and the inside was clean. It does seem like «bums» like to come in a hang in here, be aware.
Staff was as helpful as any fast food.
Food was pretty darn tasty. Chicken was fresh. Biscuit was a little dry. Cole slaw was OK. It was nice that they put the calorie count on the menu.
Overall, fried chicken is so tasty but glad I only eat it once in a blue moon.

I’ve ordered takeout from this location several times in the past and have received fast service and good tasting chicken. So, today my son wanted to try the double down sandwich because one of his buds raved about the sandwich and he wanted to try it himself.
This KFC is located on Harbor and McFadden in a strip mall. I ordered the following takeout via drive-​thru:
(1) Double Down Sandwich, 1 Side, and Med. Drink Meal Combo — $ 6.99
* Double Down Sandwich — Two boneless white meat chicken filets (Original Recipe or Grilled), two pieces of bacon, two melted slices of Monterey Jack and pepper jack cheese and Colonel’s sauce.
* Macaroni & Cheese — Elbow macaroni covered in a cheddar cheese sauce
* Medium Drink
Son enjoyed his meal and said he would order it again.
(2) 3 Pcs Chicken Strips, 1 Side, Biscuit, and Med. Drink Box Combo — $ 5.00
* 3 Pcs. Chicken Strips — All-​white meat chicken breast, marinated and double-​breaded in KFC’s seasonings. Hubby selected mac & cheese as his side. Hubby said his meal was «ok».
I like this KFC because the drive thru service is FAST and the food is as good as it gets for a «Fast Food Chain». However, don’t forget your options (original or grilled) when ordering because the server won’t ask you. And before you leave, make sure you have your dipping sauces, utensils, and napkins. Today, when I got home there were no spork and napkin packages for my family. Drive Thru Service & Food = 3 Stars
