Second time coming here which I expected to be a little better than my first experience. But I was wrong. We waited so long to get out food and when I got my order of alambre it had no flavor. This place is all hype

Great place to eat real Mexican food
I have come here for few years now and they don’t change always good food here.
Problems
You need time, because they take for ever. but at the end it’s worth the time.
Good food overall.

They still 40 minutes to make 2 food items. Will never come back. Wanted to give them another try, but highly dissapointed. Dont come here unless you want to wait an hour for your food.

I used to come here with my family as a little girl.
My have times changed! We go in for lunch and the whole restaurant is full so we wait for the next available table as a waiter tells us to go find a seat before someone beats us to it. Obviously they’re were no seats open. Finally when one opens we take a seat and look at the menus it took them 15 min for them to take our order then another 30 min to make 2 Tortas. Then finally another 15 min wait to get the check and two boxes to go. As things started from good to bad it quickly descended to horriblwGreat food but definitely horrible customer service

I’ve been here a couple of times and the food is okay. I was there on Sunday evening and when we got there, the place was pretty full. They look like they need more servers. The place had a lot of food on the floor and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned all day. The servers were nice, but don’t have a system to make sure they serve people as they come in. Our order was taken after people that got there after us. Regarding the food, I had a Huarache, but the tortilla was hard. I couldn’t cut it with the knife they provided. I also then got an Esquite but it didn’t look at all like the picture in the menu. I had the Gorditas on a previous visit and those were good.

Amazing!!! By far the freshest, yummiest homemade food in Santa Ana! Their flor de calabaza quesadillas are my fave! I Can’t forget to mention their hand made tortillas are the perfect combination!

Food is always great here! Yes it does take them forever to bring it out but it’s definitely worth it!

This is my local (to Irvine) alternative to Los Chilangos in Anaheim. In my opinion, this is the best place to go for chicken tacos — very flavorful! Their chips are really perfect; thin, light, crispy. Their salsa is very spicy, but still has such a good flavor that it’s worth sweating over. I usually eat here once a week. I suggest calling in your order ahead of time. The only down side to this place is the amount of time it takes to get your food. If you place your order when you arrive, plan on waiting at least 30 – 40 minutes for it to be finished (at least when they are busy).

The food is amazing I come here all the time with family sometimes about twice a month good place to have some lunch or dinner I recommend this place to any one small location but great quality food. The service is great there friendly overall I enjoy this place I will be back. Thanks :)

Horale carnal !!! Finally a real lamb barbecue flavor… The service is slow and no parking space because it’s full. Many customers and many people are waiting outside for their to go order… If you came to enjoy a real food flavor you must be patient and have a seat,… Relax and wait for your delicious banquet… Don forget, good food costs money. Also take time to taste the freshness…

I pass by this place nearly every day on my way home. In fact, it’s walking distance. So I finally made the stop, after 5 years. It’s right across the street from the Santa Ana location of The Old Ship British pub.
I ordered outside to go. (There is a sit-​down dining area inside.). There is no pricing on the a la carte menu, which is a bunch of painted signs in the windows. You need to ask. Combo plates are priced. The menu is, to my mind, disorganized and not helpful.
Service was painfully and ridiculously slow. And, no, they weren’t busy. I had to repeat my order twice, as they said they had misplaced it. A couple of tacos shouldn’t take 20 mins to prepare.
The carne asada taco was fine, but nothing you can’t get at most any Mexican restaurant or food truck. The carnitas meat in my other taco was over-​cooked and dry. I threw half away, and I rarely toss food, believing if it’s on my plate, I finish it. One of the worst carnitas tacos I’ve tried.
The bean burrito was fine, but is charging an additional $ 1 for cheese reasonable? Of course I don’t know the price of the bean burrito, as it wasn’t listed (nor did it say there wasn’t cheese).
I was not impressed. There are far too many Mexican food places that serve better food and waaay faster.

Siempre la comida deliciosa. No vengan si tienen prisa. La espera es un poco larga. Pero vale la pena. Las quesadillas de camaron son mis favoritas. Las aguas siempre frescas.

First time been here and never coming back, it’s true food is really good but It took them 1 hour to get the food for my kids, 1 hour for only 4 tacos plain (just meat and tortilla)

There chip salsa is really hot kinda taste like Chipotle chilles, they serve food from Mexico City DF. I love there gordito de chicharron, and there a lambre real chilango food. They also afore fresh made juices, my person favorite it’s the guanabana juice. I recommend it to everyone.

Great authentic Mexican food! Customer service is always great. They do speak English, so ordering won’t be an issue. The restaurant is small and very clean. Sometimes they do take a little longer to bring out your food but that’s only because they make everything as fresh as possible. Also, their natural flavored waters are very good. Definitely recommend this place for some delicious truly authentic Mexican food.

They took two hours to bring our food. It took them around 40 minutes to take our order. Don’t come to this place if you don’t like waiting more than an hour for your food.

They take the longest time to bring you out your order here. I have been here more the 1 hour just waiting for my order and dont let me get started how long they took to approch us and take our order. They were very rude. The flavored water was worst they were just a sad attempt. Wont be coming back to this awful place ⁰⁄₅ stars…

Esta horrible, el trato al cliente pesimo, el disque mesero es muy despota y descortes no lo recomiendo nunca y aparte esta muy sucio y se tardan 1 hr por unas quesadillas!!!

Horrible. $ 8.75 for a drink and a breakfast burrito that was 95% rice. I will never come here again.

The food was great even though I was sick, the chicharron tacos de canasta had a great flavored, Jugo gripal is really good and rich in vitamins and good if you have the flue,

The chips, salsa and quesadillas are really good;-) I love coming here to eat a nice meal. The staff are really welcoming they make you feel like you are family! I really do recommend this place to anyone that wants to eat real Mexican food. I drive all the way from la Habra just to eat here when I want to eat real Mexican food.
