Today I went in around noon and had some returns. Their computers were down for this however an employee took me right over next door and assisted me quickly and efficient. I also bought a very heavy bookshelf and Maria who was putting away items in the plastic cups area behind the home furniture assisted another customer who had a question then gladly lifted the item for me and put it in my cart. Usually you can’t find an employee anywhere and when you do they act like they are wayyyy to busy to help so thank you Maria for taking the 2 minutes to help. Also Emilio was clocking in and assisted me to my car to put the item in — very helpful young man and said he couldn’t accept tips when I tried to give it to him and said its his job. Such a good employee and I do think they should accept tips but it’s nice to see he was just happy to help. Panhandler in the parking lot so you may want someone out there watching for that.

I only come for the vision center. I’ve been 3 times now making an appointment each time. Today I’m sitting in the waiting area in fact. My appointment: 12:45. It’s 1:45 now still yet to be seen. Update, 2:40 still not been seen.

Prices are decent; after all, it is WalMart! Weekend crowds are to be expected, and parking is even worse than usual. Biggest complaint is the self checkouts… always a glitch.

Having used this store since 2004 it has been a love/hate relationship from the beginning. Being a few miles from my home it does serve the need of being super convenient but that can only go so far. Yes it can be trashy with folks who shop there and the staff can be pretty mindless, customer service isn’t a high priority, but buying what you need for an inexpensive cost does have its positives. I pride myself of being in and out within 10−15mins. You just need to know when to go. With the new liquor store section that just recently opened it did suck up a lot of parking that was offered and that has made it more difficult then ever. Publix has recently become my store of choice but selection can be difficult as well. More on that review later.

There are large Walmarts and there are very large Walmarts. This is one of the latter. When you can see the curvature of the Earth at work as you look over from Subway to the Tire & Lube, it’s a very large Walmart. Brightly lit, plenty of space, and looking pretty clean. This shop is laid out like most, with a bigger than average grocery section at one side that also takes up a couple of aisles along the back for more dry goods. In the center, the softlines of clothing take up space. Pets, housewares, toys, sporting goods and yep, there’s what I want in the back: electronics. It seems that someone broke his USB cable extender and needs a replacement. Prices clearly displayed and not expensive at all. I picked up an heir and a spare six-inch cable for $ 4.88 each. Hey, five bucks so that I can have a phone is a good deal. I used the self-checkout at the front to pay for my merchandise and I was on my way.

Ah Walmart, loved by some, hated by others. A place to get groceries, electronics, paint, guns, and clothes in one nice convenient trip. Don’t really think a review of Walmart itself is needed, but just in case, it’s cheap, time saving, and effective. Now, on to this particular Walmart. Went in today to grab a few things and decided to check the toy aisles. I found a toy I had been wanting to get my son for over a month now. Super excited, I grab it and immediately notice that this toy has been opened. It’s for my son, so not a big deal. Upon closer inspection, however, he’s missing a piece. Damn, can’t get it now. Queue disappointment. Now wait, I know what you’re thinking. «Jorge, Walmart can’t possibly catch everyone that’s up to no good in their stores. Things like that happen. It’s not really their fault.» And yes, you’re right. However, to the left of this toy, there were 2 others that were opened and had items swapped out for other items(then sealed up and returned to the store). In the next aisle over, more open packages and missing items. Same in the aisle after that. Do they not have someone looking out for those things? At least a quick visual scan of the aisle. «Oh, looks like someone helped themselves, let’s get rid of this open package.» I mean, I saw at least 5 in just as many minutes. Don’t feel too comfortable in a place with obvious theft problems. Whatever their current loss prevention system is, it needs some work.

Cheap. Always open. Always packed. Never any parking spaces. No one there to help you. Only one register open. But it still gets 4 stars because it will always be the cheapest place to get groceries. Always.

I equate most Wal-Marts to be soul sucking dementors fresh out of the Harry Potter series. I’ll agree with Lisa — the store is spacious and well lit. I will disagree with clean and the lighting situation in the parking lot. During the early morning/late evening hours, it is very dark in the parking lot and its not exactly comfortable. This situation should be remedied — yet, it probably won’t happen. On my last visit, only a few registers were open and we were stuck waiting in the checkout line for what appeared to be hours when it really was about 20 minutes. If I didn’t have a cartful of much needed items, we would’ve left. Now for the part of my review that doesn’t speak much about Walmart at all. I know that not all human beings have nice things to say about others, but, this is something that I just couldn’t let go. My husband and I are standing in the checkout line, when this young girl in front of us, with her grandmother and younger brother in tow, began snapping pictures with her cell phone of a heavy-set female customer in front of her. It wasn’t exactly, nonchalent, as she didn’t even make the effort to hide what she was doing. I have never been more disgusted with humanity then I was during this visit. After the 20 minute wait in line and then to watch a young girl, snap pictures and post them onto Facebook. What a shame.

This Super Walmart is located on Rinehart Road in Sanford, FL less than ½ a mile from the 417. It’s the large store with large seasonal offerings, outdoor/ammo, grocery and pharmacy sections. Store is spacious, clean and well lit. Staff has been helpful when needed. Huge parking lot, which is usually full.

I am generally NOT a fan of Wal-Mart however this one is by far the cleanest one I have been too and the employees seem to be more intelligent than a rock which a huge improvement from the others I have gone to. The layout of this store is a bit awkward but the shelves are stocked neatly and I can usually find what I am looking for. They have the usual selection of merchandise and the general shopping experience is greatly enhanced by the wonderful sites and views of mullet having shoppers and 300 lb women wearing spandex.

I actually really like this Walmart. It’s the nicest, cleanest one I’ve ever been in. Employees are always very kind and helpful. And they carry many organic options:-)

Just your typical crappy Wal Mart. The people watching opportunities here is amazing. Just like every Wal mart. No help on the floor and not enough cashiers. Very hard to find anything
