Came here with a group of my friend for lunch. We couldn’t decided what to eat and one of them is a vegetarian, so Indian was the best place to go. This place is located in Sandy Spring and it has a lot of good place to eat and this place is one of them. I was pretty shock that this place was dead! There wasn’t anyone there. Lunch time is $ 10 for buffet and that is a pretty good price for all you can eat. There wasn’t that much options of meats beside Chicken. Everything was ok! It wasn’t the best indian food I had but it was ok. I think my favorite things here is the Freshly Made Naan bread. They bring the naan out freshly out of the oven and whenever you are done with it, just ask for more and they will bring it out for you. I would come back here again for lunch with my friend again but I rather go to my other favorite Indian to eat for dinner.

An excellent lunch spot. I came here with a friend for the lunch buffet just this last Monday. It was relatively empty, and we were seated quickly. We grabbed various curries, sambar, and idli(rice cake thing, not super common in buffets and was a welcome addition). Fresh naan was brought to us very shortly after returning with our food. The tikka masala was very good, as was the mushroom and egg curries. I liked the selection of salad as well. Everything tasted fresh and of good quality. I would definitely return in the future.

Had the lunch buffet which had a lot of vegetarian options which was pretty cool. The naan isn’t greasy and I can appreciate that. The spices were solid and there was just enough heat in the food to not scare off American palates. There wasn’t anything spectacular about the food, prices, service or feel of the place.

Roswell/Sandy Springs shopping area finally got an authentic Indian restaurant. Ambience is pretty upward and different, and menu has pretty large variety of both North and South Indian cuisine. Being vegetarian + Jain, we were very choosy and they took good care of us. Only flip side is service was very slow and it was not even crowded on a Friday night. I’ll definitely go there again and refer it forward.

This is for Lunch buffet on Sunday. Seriously the worst Indian buffet I have been to. Only 3 – 4 dishes in veggie section, out of which 2 were South Indian. And 2 – 3 chicken selection. Appetizer had pani puris. That was the whole menu. Seriously??? That’s it? Food was so bland and not tasty at all!!! Felt ripped off for $ 12 pp. will never return!

Great food and great service! My friend and I went for dinner on a Monday night and there was only one couple there when we arrived and a few more people came in after so it wasn’t busy at all. The food was fresh and very tasty. I don’t eat much Indian cuisine but my friend does and said it was top notch. We ordered a vegetarian and chicken dish which were both outstanding and also ordered the Dosai which is this long thin crispy piece of lentil and rice bread with a buttery flavor. The Dosai had a mixture of potato mixture which was really yummy. I had mango yogurt smoothie for desert that was delish! I will definitely be back to try more off of the menu and take advantage of the lunch buffet. My only issue(with myself!) is that I forgot to use the 50% scout mob app while there!

Came here with my husband and am beyond sold. Prices fair. Portions are fair. The service alone is five star. I appreciate the quality of food and the wine list is amazing. This will definitely be a staple in our date night options. I love the feel of the place as well. Classy and romantic.

This was and is our favorite Indian restaurant in Atlanta. We were a regular at their old restaurant in Roswell a few years ago. It was a terrible location and went out of business. The atmosphere was much nicer, but the awesome food is still the same. The Chicken Tikka Masala was insanely good. I inhaled before I thought to take a photo. Our Lamb Saag was excellent especially since I normally don’t eat lamb. The naan is perfect as far as I am concerned. I wish they open another location in Alpharetta or Roswell square.

Do not eat here during lunch. I met up with a friend and had the lunch buffet. There was noone there except a few tables at around 1:30. The choices in the buffet were very limited(only three meat choices and a few vegetables) and what was available was not even replenished. The food tasted ok. A better Indian buffet choice is Viceroy in Dunwoody.

Einstein’s definition of insanity is doing something over and over again expecting to have different results. Apparently, when it comes to Indian buffets, I am completely off my rocker! You see, I have a love/hate relationship with Indian food — while I absolutely love Indian cuisine, I often have very little success with the all too common buffet format. Pieces of chicken tikka that are more bone(and bone fragment) than meat, curries that are too mild, naan that has sat out for too long. Moksha, like virtually every other Indian restaurant that I’ve ever been to, has the same so-so buffet experience… and I keep coming back to Indian buffets hoping that just one time, it’ll be different(in a good way, of course). Don’t get me wrong, it’s still satisfying and a reasonable value for lunch. It just pales in comparison to cooked-to-order entrees found during dinner service. What I will say is that this Moksha is considerably bigger than the location I have frequented before just a few miles up the road in Duluth. I hope that their dinner service is better.

Boyfriend and I were debating where to get Friday dinner and we stumbled upon this restaurant via my handy Scoutmob app(aka 50% off) and since we saw it had just opened via Unilocal,we were sold. We kind of went over board with ordering food as evidenced by the photos below but here is what we got: Mixed vegetable pakoda(pakora) — I love pakora but it usually comes as a giant lump of vegetable but here they separated it out into the individual vegetables which I think made for a better eating experiences. The provided tamarind sauce was very good and paired nicely with the pakora. Paper masala dosai(dosa) — Guys. Look at the picture. This was literally 2 feet in diameter. TWOFEET! Stuffed with yummy potatoes and peas(?) the actual dosa outer shell thing was kind of cheesy which was a delightful surprise. Mmm. Aloo gobi — Pretty delicious although this tasted like all the other kinds of aloo gobi I’ve had so there wasn’t anything outstanding about this curry. Lamg saag — This was actually great. I usually don’t like lamb in curry(weird I know) but the lamb was tender and perfectly seasoned. Definitely get this! Bread basket… s — So we ordered this totally not expecting two baskets full of delicious different kinds of naan(original, garlic & onion). Oh my god this naan is PERFECT. It is soft and fluffy on the inside, good amounts of crunch on the outside. This is naan heaven for $ 8. Service — Was fine. Verdict — Apparently they have a massive lunch buffet with over 60 items so we’ll definitely have to be back. I feel like their entrée prices(with the exception of the dosa) were a bit high as they were in the $ 14-$ 17 range.

Decent, but there are better options nearby! I tried their lunch buffet. While they have a decent spread of items, it’s too expensive. The food was cold and bland. Their naan tasted good but curries didn’t. Would not recommend considering there are better and cheaper options nearby

One of those rare kid went to a last minute sleepover, what’s close, what’s casual nights. Decided on this place based on proximity and my refusal to spend an hour getting dressed after shuttling kids around all day. Moms, you know this day. I couldn’t be more pleased. If you’re crazy interested in upscale atmosphere, being ‘seen’, overpaying and getting tiny fusion style food for instagram, this isn’t your place. If you value a relaxed atmosphere with amazing food at reasonable prices… this is where to find it. Do yourself a favor and make sure to try the lasooni dahniya murg. So tender, so flavorful! Lamb Vindaloo was heaven. Samosas were filled and cooked perfectly. We used all of the sauces with these, each bite more delicious than the one before. Portions were very generous, can’t wait to have this for lunch tomorrow ;) The manager informed us that their largest buffet for lunch(none for dinner) is Sunday. I can’t wait to stop in and try a little of everything. Maybe not all in 1 visit, but it is close… and I do plan on stopping in regularly. This was so good, I think I may even be able to get the kid to try Indian food again. Thank you to the owners for putting an Indian restaurant that serves authentic, made to order, delicious food almost in my backyard. Everyone else — be sure and visit so that it stays there. It’s worth it.

Ever since moving from London, UK to Atlanta a few years ago, I’ve been missing Indian food the way a fat kid misses cake. Every few months I’d make yet another trek to yet another recommended find only to be greeted with a sub-par, thoroughly wussy impersonation of one of the globe’s greatest cuisines. To say it was disappointing would be an understatement on par with Keith Richards saying he «used to party a little.» One of my greatest lost loves from my time wolfing down the UK’s favorite cuisine is the mighty dosa. If you’ve never had one, just stop what you’re doing right now and write yourself a note that you need to reorganize your priorities. Think of a crispy, lacy-edged, thin pancake of sexiness, then fill it with all manner of Indian comfort food and you’re there. When I heard that Moksha had dosa? I planned my entire Saturday around it like a holy event. Though usually I’m not a fan and am highly suspicious of buffets, Moksha is home to one of the best Indian buffets I’ve ever laid eyes on. It’s beautiful, large and unbelievably fresh. Start with their tasty salad bar, making sure not to miss picking up some of their homemade chutneys and raita on the end. You’ll need it for the hot naan and dosas they’ll be loading on to your table while you’re piling your plate. Next up, select from a wide range of Indian fried snacks, byrianis, rice dishes and soup. Don’t fill up too much though — you’ll want to save room for those curries. Both veggies and carnivores will have a field day with those. Stand out curries included a creamy chicken tikka masala, a full-flavored, ballsy on-the-bone goat curry, spicy channa masala and the best damn tarka daal I’ve had in years. Superb. You will make multiple trips, so attempt to pace yourself so you get to try a bit of everything. Flavors are unique from dish to dish and are clearly slaved over in a kitchen that obviously takes pride in what it’s doing. Oh, and the dosas? I’m in love. I can’t wait to become a regular here.

Wait time for the food is LONG. By the time we were served our food, we were ready to walk out … They said they burnt our food and had to remake it and thats why it took so long(40 minutes +) for it to come out. No comp was given either for our long wait. HOWEVER, For the first time ever, I am willing to over look that because once the food came out and we started eating, every ounce of annoyance was stripped for every bite that we took. ITWASDELICIOUS. Mutton Gohst and Mutton Vindaloo — AMAZEBALLS. I didnt find it too spicy, but if you have a low tolerance for spicy foods, you may want to clarify that you dont want any spiciness in it. It comes with white rice. Aloo Paratha — BOMBDIGGITY. It is naan bread that was stuffed with mashed potatoes and mashed peas. It is delicious and quite filling. Ambiance is nothing spectacular, maybe even a bit awkward for me … the service was a bit awkward also, but they were trying hard. Anyway, come for the food. It is delicious.

Hands down the best Indian I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is very bright and clean with crisp white table cloths. The buffet is vast and there’s plenty of vegetarian friendly options. All the food is so rich and perfectly seasoned. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly. They do a $ 2 mimosa special on the weekends and it was also delicious. This is now my go to favorite Indian restaurant in Atlanta. I really can’t give any specific food hi lights because everything I put on my plate was awesome. I made two heaping plates at the buffet and of course had dessert. All I can say is GOTHERE! The buffet is every day too not just specific days and times. I will be back very soon. This is wayyyyyy better than Swapna btw.

Another Indian restaurant in the Atlanta area! Woohoo… There are 2 good things about this one 1.) location — considering the population of Indians in dunwoody/sandy springs area, this area should be the hub of Indian restaurants 2.) they have a scoumob deal available, and that saves you $ 20 Food is average. I would like to mention that I will not go there again if I don’t get $ 20 off. For the quality and ambiance, food is overpriced. They should evaluate the quantity of the dishes. It’s less for a full meal: we ordered dal makhani n baigan bharta. Not sure why they have so MaNy tables! It looks more like a school cafeteria.
